Hello people
I am looking for an app or toggle widget that makes it possible quickly to change between the different dictionary languages in the htc_ime. Every day I write in Danish, English and Italian and I find it a bit annoying to have to go into settings, keyboard language and choose the language every single time. It would be much easier to be able to change the language just by pressing one "button" on the homescreen. So if anyone knows about such an app or widget, or if someone would be able to develop one, it would be VERY MUCH appreciated! Thanks in advance!
- Thomas.

Hi, I'd like to upgrade my Xda Neo to a more recent ROM edition, like
ftp://xda:[email protected]_Edition/AKU2.3.1_LvsW_Edition_2006-11-28.exe
I have an "old" italian rom, and my device is a G3.
I am not scared about having my neo in english after the update process,
but I'd like to have my T9 dictionary in italian, and, if possible, also the keyboard layout,
the autocompletion for entering text (is that still controlled by T9?), and the smartdial application.
Is there a way to do so?
Shall I take some cab somewhere?
Anybody could give me some hints?
Thanks very much.
As far as I know; The t9 language of the ophonepad is selectable to different languages including Italian. the t9 of the keyboard itself is the language of the ROM only
What is the name of Dictionary File in Prophet?

By default the HD2 keyboard comes with 5 languages. Does any one know how to incorporate additional languages? I am specifically interested about the greek language.
I also are intrested in alternetive language keyboard settings. I want Swedish, and that im thinking of keyboard support for Bluetooth Keyboards. External BT keyboards works great, but cant se that im using a Swedish Keyboard. We have the darn å,ä,ö thats messing up the usability for me.
Any Ideas?
Thnx in advance

These subjects are addressed here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=5138044 for HTC LEO.
Use the search tool on the top bar with key words like t9, xt9 or even et9 and your preferred language. You might find a suitable solution on another device's topics.
Also, I asked makeveral to implement a selection tool on his BsB app http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=5136662. If you think it's a goo idea, add a post to his topic saying so. Good luck!
Use Fingerkeyboard 2.1 for additional languages... its free and has a much better interface than the standard keyboard. You can switch between languages easily...
I'm pretty sure I've tried almost all of the available IMEs.
I'm wondering though, is there a Japanese IME that has automatic english correction (like what the normal keyboard does) and is able to type Japanese?
Normal english kb does correction automatically.
e.g.:
wjat -> what
The japanese IME I tried so far doesn't have those.
But I might be missing some really good ones.
So if anyone knows one that does english word auto-correct and Japanese input, please tell me.
Thank you.
P.S: I know Smart Keyboard does something like this, but the Japanese Dictionary they use is pretty horrible...
Hello everyone!
I have been a SwiftKey user for a long time and for various reasons I am looking to switch to Gboard (one thing is the search feature). However, there is one thing that still keeps me to SwiftKey.
I generally use English, French and Greek layouts. I really enjoy the multilingual layout feature of SwiftKey and I was hoping that Gboard would do it in a similar way. However, this is not the case.
SwiftKey and Gboard both unify EN and FR layouts, however SwiftKey only really displays one option (fr/en) in contrast with Gboard that displays two options: fr/en and en/fr. I don't know the purpose of this, but it means that I have to change two layouts in order to write Greek, which I don't really like.
Is this bothering anyone else? Has anyone found any solution to this "problem".
Hi guys,
I want to add my local language to the quick dial (ex. when you type 4663 for "HOME").
I thought I should just change the system language (although I prefer the system in English) but that didn't help.
I'm talking about Hebrew, any way to add it?
Thanks a lot
