[ICONS] TallMin By Lekky - Hero CDMA Themes and Apps

Firstly let me make clear that I have taken inspiration from SimpText by UltraLinx. I loved the idea he had created, very simple and minimalistic, however on my Desire the icons were just too small to be useful for me. Very kindly, UltraLinx also provided the PSD file he based his icons on. From this I amended the colours, the font, the size, as well as some more font options.
The end result is as follows:
{

I can create more to your liking if requested
Currently there are 139 icons in 10 different colours below:
Black
Bright Red
Dark Red
Green
Light Blue

Pastel Blue
Pink
White
Yellow

These work with CM6 but you will have to unzip to a folder first and then transfer that to your phone, least thats how I do it. They work great with all nightlies and the RC1

Ok after that do I metamorph or just install using a file manger

You don't install, you use something like Desktop Visualizer or BetterCut.

THESE ARE AWESOME! I have no idea why the postcount is so low. Big thanks, the dark red makes my day let me know if you are still taking requests, a few simple ones like: calc_ulator, wind_weather, maybe more? whatever, I'm good with what I have now, but if you would make more, I could pm you some ideas.

Samsung Galaxy S
A few question please.
1) My system- Running Phoenix 4.1, ADW Launcher EX. Will these work with my system?
2) Do I simply flash these to my system or are they an app?
Thanks, Tomween1

I think I'm really missing something here! I downloaded the file (TallMin By Lekky.zip) to my desktop. Then installed the folder onto my internal sdcard (dragged and dropped when connected) Then booted into system tryed to load the folder.... Locks up here.
I then thought I was misunderstanding and tried the nex step getting into creating a custom shortcut. Not able to find a text function.

After downloading you're supposed to extract the zip..doing so gives you a folder with all the icons in it. You need the program 7zip or any program to extract zip files then you could extract on your computer & put the folder on the sd card. OR you could download astro or some type of file manager from the market & put the zip on your sd card & you can just go into it on the file manager & move the folder inside the zip to your sd card so the folder will be available in your gallery. Hope that helps

You have to unzip it first i.e. extract. All the icons are all bundled up and wrapped in a case. You must take them out of the case first, then you can use them. on your computer, just right click the zip file and there should be an option to extract to. Choose a destination (like your sd card) and extract them. Then once they are on your sd card extracted, on your phone follow the steps from there.

I have only looked at the pictures, I like it alot but is there a way you can make a raw file of it so i can edit it to have the lockscreen of my choice? or is there a way to still do that?
Also you should add Better keyboard to it and use DEEP BLUE theme it would go perfect with it. I have the .apks if you would like to do this.

use something like 7zip. download the zip file. open up file with 7zip. /system has the app files
/framework has the core sytem files. ull mainly work with htcresources.apk and framwork res. apk or something like that. click on the apk u want to look into. find the res file in there and copy it to desktop or a file on computer. open that res file up to see thumbnails of file. do ur editing. be careful with .9 files(stretchable files). they r tricky. read up on how to edit those. once ur done doing edits...either drag and drop or compy files back to the zip/res file that is open in 7zip. close down 7zip.
download fresh prekitchen select tools then sign zip. choose the zip file u edited. rename it then create file. in order to do this u have to down load JDK and JRE (java development kit and java runtime enviroment). google the two or look in some of the stickys to find the website to download. install those two files then u should be able to sign the zip and that makes it able to be flashed through recovery. I would download and install both files. some people will tell u by installing JDK that JRE is automatically installed but it wasnt for me and whats it gonna hurt.
good luck.

How to use zip themer
1. Install ZipThemer from the market if you haven't already.
2. Download the morph packages you want to use, do not extract them, leave them in .zip form.
3. Move all the morph zips for a theme that you want to use to /sdcard/ZipThemer.
4. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled.
5. Open ZipThemer and hit the +Theme button to select the .zip you want to use.
6. Repeat Step 5 until all the .zips you want are selected.
7. (Optional) Select *Output to rename the zip whatever you want, just make sure it still says .zip at the end.
8. Hit the Build It! button. It will ask if you also want to create an undo.zip. I suggest you do.
9. Reboot into recovery, select - install zip from sdcard, then select - choose zip from sdcard, then pick the .zip you made.
10. Reboot. Done.

Great theme. One of my favs. One suggestion and also kind of a gripe... could you make the apps in the app drawer the same color as the rest of the theme. Like the apps are green instead of matching.

no need to be sorry we all gotta learn the new stuff at some point.
first dl the image that you want and upload it somewhere like imgur.com (do not upload it directly from computer to xda..this will not work for sigs).
for signature to work go under private message (top right under the Welcome (yourname)).
This will take you to a new page..you will see on the left side there is a "your control panel".
Click on edit signature.
in there put in the DIRECT LINK that you get from imgur.com in the img tags..which goes something like this {img}http://i.imgur.com/LK8vW.gif{/img} where you will need to replace all { and } with [ and ] respectively.
thats it . let me know if you have any questions.
on xda avatars can not be animated..so you will have to select one of the static avatars. hope this helps.
I'll try when I get home btw u can edit ur signature under quick links which is a faster way, thanks a lot for being descriptive.

2. Click on New Project and open System\App\SystemUI.apk (It will extract the SystemUI.Apk automatically).
3. Then open res\drawable-hdpi\stat_sys_signal_5.png (long press on image file then select Edit Image).
4. Edit the image and select Save by pressing menu softkey.
5. Do the same with image file stat_sys_signal_5_fully.png
6. Click on back button and hit the Finish Button.
7. Select SystemUIapk to apply the project. (This will create the package automatically)
8. Hit the Yes on popup menu (3 times)
9. At last "All Done" will appear.
10. Reboot your phone ("Force Close" popup menu will appear, all will settle after reboot).

Download:
Download free version from Android Market (same was used in video).
You can also support the developer by purchasing this Pro Version.
Important Notes
1. Editing system files involves risk. If you are not sure what are you doing please don't do anything then.
2. Always create backup of Apk file before editing. Use Root explorer to replace the same if changes are not upto mark.
3. This App seems incompatible with framework-res.apk.

If it's froyo then you can change clock font colors in services.jar file..
/system/framework/services.jar
FOR Gingerbread,
Files that have to be edited:
1) /system/app/SystemUI.apk
2) DECOMPILED_DIR/res/layout/status_bar.xml
For Clock
Search for a line that begins with "<com.android.systemui.statusbar.Clock". You now have two ways for changing the font-style and color:
Adding android:textColor="TEXTCOLOR" and/or android:textStyle="TEXTSTYLE", where TEXTCOLOR can be a HTML color (#TTRRGGBB - TT means transparency) and TEXTSTYLE can be "bold", "bold|italic", "italic" or ""
Changing the style of android:textAppearance. This can be easier but keep in mind that this style could be used somewhere else.

The clock is still in the smali code bubonic, its represented by a hexidecimal number.
This wouldnt work unless it can edit decompiled smali code. But the clock is not an image, which is what this looks like it edits.

Great going buddy!!
Awesome work... will keep watching this thread for more goodies. BTW, what version of the Bliss Shortcuts and clocks widget are you running? Looks very good with the translucent appearance.
The one i have is opaque, and doesn't look as good...
Any Link?

Also, any particular reason the mods cannot be flashed from recovery...? Is the manual setup really necessary?
P.S. : Please see if you can attach the Shortcuts and Clock mod here, as i really love the way it looks in those screenshots.

Thank you for that... but can you upload it somewhere else... like dropbox... because i downloaded twice and it is showing corrupt archive..
P.S. : Check your PM
I installed it but got an error that it didnt install. I locked my screen and when I tried to unlock there wasn't a ring anymore making it impossible to unlock.
The 3-key combo did the trick and after the reboot it's working like a charme.
Looking good! Thanks again
is there any tweak for HTC Widgets' Transparency level ?
The transparent Rosie navbar works after reboot.

You need to re-upload both the Quicklaunch widget mods... they are corrupted. The archive is damaged. Why don't you use XDA's uploading facility and attach them... or perhaps another hosting site. Whatever you do, don't use the same link... check the files and re-upload them afresh.
Cheers.
