here is a wallpaper for today.
full size is wallpaper5.

As an idea, someone could port the blood red themea that was made for weapon. Though for HFS, theme capabilities would have to be added first, sadly I don't even know if the theme chooser theme would work on ICS.

i've been thinking about a theme..but i guess i should wait until they are done with cm9 to see what capability we will have..but i can create the icons in the mean time and have it ready to go.

Hey, thanks for the work. I would like to say can u post a quick tutorial for those who can't get it to work? Sorry I'm very slow at this sort of stuff.

I love the startup animation, it looks great. Is there any way to get it to go full screen... I noticed that there is a 1/4 inch gap on each side of the screen

no need to be sorry we all gotta learn the new stuff at some point.
first dl the image that you want and upload it somewhere like imgur.com (do not upload it directly from computer to xda..this will not work for sigs).
for signature to work go under private message (top right under the Welcome (yourname)).
This will take you to a new page..you will see on the left side there is a "your control panel".
Click on edit signature.
in there put in the DIRECT LINK that you get from imgur.com in the img tags..which goes something like this {img}http://i.imgur.com/LK8vW.gif{/img} where you will need to replace all { and } with [ and ] respectively.
thats it . let me know if you have any questions.
on xda avatars can not be animated..so you will have to select one of the static avatars. hope this helps.

I'll try when I get home btw u can edit ur signature under quick links which is a faster way, thanks a lot for being descriptive.

Need for Speed Boot Animation as requested

Just finished up the need for speed boot animation a few users requested. I hope you all enjoy! As always, request are welcome. Work in progress, Halo version, sonic, and may optimize the Call of Duty Boot animation since I learned a few tricks recently. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask
Enjoy!
Download animation here. This is a file you have to manually push via adb or copy from your sdcard.
Thanks to Tiffany84, because she is the s***, has made flashable versions via recovery. The first is for those with the animation located in "/system/customize/resource" and has sound: http://db.tt/BcTgkEZ
This flashable zip is for roms where the bootanimation is stored in the "/system/media" folder and does not include sound: http://db.tt/OuNmVzF

Your boot animations are amazing. I am currently running the COD one. I see you already have a few requests on your plate, but is there any way you could add an NHL animation to the list?
Edit: Do you strip the animations from the games, or do you work with video files? If from Video Files, would it be possible to highlight the Blackhawk clips from this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O772KZSU4aA
Thanks for this

I do just happen to strip the clips I need from video, youtube or otherwise. I will see what I can do, if you have the ability to have audio, is there a specific genre of music or song you would like used?

As long as the audio isn't deafening (some boot sounds are LOUD) lol, the Chelsea Dagger goal song for the Blackhawks, or the ESPN NHL theme music would be great. Not at a computer right now, but I can find the audio files if needed.
Thanks

I assume when you say, "drag and flash" you're refering to downloading on your sdcard then copying or moving the files to the proper location? No, this does not need to be signed and you should be able to copy or move. Where or what directory did you copy the files too in your phone?
If you mean flashing via recovery, no it is not a flashable file like that. I can talk to user Tiffany84 and see if they can make a zip that's flashable via recovery. Try the above mentioned way or push it via adb until then. Just FYI, I push all my files via adb because it helps me keep sharp with coding.

This is badass. I love that song, I have been listening to it for the past two weeks after hearing it on the AMC commercial. Thanks for the hard work...keep it up!
By the way, any word on a flashable zip?

This one also has the sound included. The second link is for people that are running a rom that has the bootanimation located in system/media. It doesn't include the sound because I do not know of a way to include sound for a bootanimation on a rom that stores the animation in system/media. U sure can. Do u know where its stored at. If not let me know what rom your running and ill let u know which one u need. But if u know where its stored than just download the one u need and flash. The zip will overwrite the bootanimation u have right now so u will be fine.

Hi All......
In this short youtube video I will guide you how to change the color of
full signal barindicator directly on your phone. After getting the idea
you can use your imagination & creativity through this super tool
"Ninjamorph".

Features:
1. No PC or programming required. Change the theme directly on phone with easy steps.
2. Inbuilt APK archiver and image editor.
3. Ability to replace files from external sources/pc.
4. Free and small size.
Watch Video Tutorial on Youtube
Quick review of steps taken in above Video:
1. Open Ninjamorph after installing from Android Market.
2. Click on New Project and open System\App\SystemUI.apk (It will extract the SystemUI.Apk automatically).
3. Then open res\drawable-hdpi\stat_sys_signal_5.png (long press on image file then select Edit Image).
4. Edit the image and select Save by pressing menu softkey.
5. Do the same with image file stat_sys_signal_5_fully.png
6. Click on back button and hit the Finish Button.
7. Select SystemUIapk to apply the project. (This will create the package automatically)
8. Hit the Yes on popup menu (3 times)
9. At last "All Done" will appear.
10. Reboot your phone ("Force Close" popup menu will appear, all will settle after reboot).
Another Good tutorial I got on Youtube (Credits:GFURR1)

Download:
Download free version from Android Market (same was used in video).
You can also support the developer by purchasing this Pro Version.
Important Notes
1. Editing system files involves risk. If you are not sure what are you doing please don't do anything then.
2. Always create backup of Apk file before editing. Use Root explorer to replace the same if changes are not upto mark.
3. This App seems incompatible with framework-res.apk.
DISCLAIMER
If something wrong happen please don't blame me or developer for the same. Use this tool at your own responsibility.
Please Share your creative work with screenshots/file source in this thread
Congratulations on your one-hundredth post. Thank you for sharing this. I will definitely give it a try.

If it's froyo then you can change clock font colors in services.jar file..
/system/framework/services.jar
FOR Gingerbread,
Files that have to be edited:
1) /system/app/SystemUI.apk
2) DECOMPILED_DIR/res/layout/status_bar.xml
For Clock
Search for a line that begins with "<com.android.systemui.statusbar.Clock". You now have two ways for changing the font-style and color:
Adding android:textColor="TEXTCOLOR" and/or android:textStyle="TEXTSTYLE", where TEXTCOLOR can be a HTML color (#TTRRGGBB - TT means transparency) and TEXTSTYLE can be "bold", "bold|italic", "italic" or ""
Changing the style of android:textAppearance. This can be easier but keep in mind that this style could be used somewhere else.

This wouldnt work unless it can edit decompiled smali code. But the clock is not an image, which is what this looks like it edits.

Its a flashable zip. Containing a bunch of basic apps, so that u don't have to install them one at a time. The cool thing is u use the aroma installer to select which apps u want to install.
If u mix Taco Bell hot sauce, with Ramen noodles, it taste just like poverty.
Planned to add:
Titanium backup and take out the alternative..
Few games angry birds original, etc..
Xda developers FREE version not paid
And ill take any suggestions

no the part i originally quoted says to calibrate "the BASICS"
media stuff like pandora, netflix...
spareparts
uccw or omc
lux
incredicontrol.
Solid Explorer (beta) or Xplore are pretty nifty file managers
Some tweaks?
Maybe make an eraser script to get rid of any tweaks included in a rom and give options to flash alternatives.

@Ireyes the aroma installer has been updated so that screen calibration is no longer necessary. Try to get the latest binaries for your next update

Solid Explorer (beta) or Xplore are pretty nifty file managers
Some tweaks?
Maybe make an eraser script to get rid of any tweaks included in a rom and give options to flash alternatives.

With apps include a few of each perhaps, unless you wanna keep it under a certain size.
If you're including rom toolbox, that has root file manager no?
with the tweaks there are those already out there, but you'll need to get permission from the developers, just like when you bake them into your rom.
it wouldn't be too hard to bake them into the updater-script once you get permission; you'd have the init.d scripts which get flashed or whatnot
there's an aroma q+a thread which has a lot of info on compatible edify script and aroma commands etc if you haven't checked it out yet. If you need any help shoot me a pm, as I was gonna do something similar to this, but also there are other things in the android development thread along the same lines as well
Saw this on the portal and what an awesome project this is. The article said it was only for the EVO 4G, what the chances or foreseeable difficulties of porting this to other devices...other than device specific apps.

These themes are for any device with 480x800 resolution. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 T989; this is what I've tested all the themes on but again should work with all devices of that resolution.
How to Install:
Open your TWRP folder
Create a new folder inside of that
Rename new folder to theme
Download and place in theme folder
Rename to ui
Many thanks to Mjamocha for allowing me to use his theme to study also for helping n3cc3rs and I get up and running.
Thanks to n3cc3rs for the competition; lol!!

TWRP 2.4 Themes
These do work for 2.5 but you don't see the option to switch memories and other changes TWRP has made.
DL link is after the name of theme.
Assassin's Creed http://www.mediafire.com/download/rmrnq184wb6s79h/Assassins_Creed.zip
Gears of War http://www.mediafire.com/download/mjxuw77ue7nz33z/Gears_of_War.zip

TWRP 2.5 Themes
Batman http://www.mediafire.com/download/s9y9a3dsja736tt/Batman.zip
I have two sound files to download with this theme as well. One is simply I'm batman and the other is the Joke saying Why so serious then laughs.
The Last of Us http://www.mediafire.com/download/lr13l1setvlr3i2/The_Last_of_Us.zip
In the concept stage as of now; wanted to release it to see what you think. I will be updating this at any given time.
Assassin's Creed2.5 http://www.mediafire.com/download/rfxb3zc3mr40c7v/Assassins_Creed2.5.zip
How to apply sound file
I use Root Explorer but you can use the one that best suits you.
After downloading the file navigate to it's location copy the one you want to use as the power on sound then go to /system/media/audio/ui and paste.
Look for the file you just pasted in that location then rename it to PowerOn and set permissions. The steps for the power off sound is the same but rename it PowerOff.
DON'T DELETE THE FILE EXTENSION!!!
I'm Batman http://www.mediafire.com/download/3oq4dsg4ij7wb0g/I'm_Batman.ogg
The Joker http://www.mediafire.com/download/x77q5znqty79xw2/The_Joker.ogg
This is just what I do so I know the name of the theme I want to use; I place all themes in the theme folder then when I want to use one I make a copy then paste it in theme folder. Rename copy to ui reboot into recovery. In recovery you can go into settings and select Simulate actions for theme testing. This allows you to test the theme completely without any of the actions permanently sticking. Read here for exact quoit http://www.teamw.in/twrp2-theme-guide. I do this so I always have the name of the theme I want to use and I still have the original. You don't have to do it this way; this is just some advice.
Don't forget to hit the THANKS button!!!!

Yes just as long as ur screen resolution is 480x800. Sorry fo the delay of response I took a break from theming (wife nagging about being on the computer all the time). Is there anyone in particular that u want right now cuz I been trying to put together a batman theme then update the others. Hopefully I'm able to get to it sometime this week (work permitting).
Edit: Forgot to ask; what version of TWRP are u using? If its 2.4 I'LL repost the links when I get up if its 2.5 then it'll be as I've stated above.

Could you update to be used with version 2.6.0.0?
Also, if you can make these themes to this resolution, that would be awesome - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2035234

I'll try to update them asap but I'm also still trying to figure out other aspects of the xml for more theming possibility along with finding time to do it.
As far as porting them themes to this resolution you would be better off sending the themer a pm and ask if he could do it. I tried before but was never able to get it to work even after editing the images and xml.
Thank you for your interest

Got a new device with different resolution. I did keep my old device so I can continue to create themes for this res.
Am not gonna update all of themes to 2.6; looking at the dl count I'm only gonna do the 3 highest then whatever new ones I make.
At this moment I'm working on a harley quinn and joker multiple background theme. Just got a few things to work out.

[Bootanimation] BIOS

Hey Community,
I found this bootanimation for the M7:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2248740
I didn't find that one for our device, so I modified the one from the above thread to match the M8 specs. I attach it to this post.
Just use any root explorer to copy it to your ROMs bootanimation location and dont forget to set permissions!
It might be necessary to rename it, just name it like your ROMs current bootanimation.
Robot sequence is looping until booted.

The bootanimation location can be different, depends on the ROM. Just use any root explorer to copy it to your ROMs bootanimation location and set the permissions. I use InsertCoin, the location is /system/customize/resource. Permissions are rw-r--r-- (644).
