[Q] tmo tp2 use 6.1 style keyboard on 6.5 - General Questions and Answers

i have a t-mobile touch pro 2, i just upgraded the rom to windows mobile 6.5 (official release from t-mobile's website) the only thing i can't figure out is how to get the old style on screen keyboard back. the tiny qwerty that looks exactly like a full size computer keyboard and has the keys that are about the size of the stylus. that keyboard was the default in windows mobile 6 and i was able to choose it under windows mobile 6.1 but now i can't find it anywhere. when i disable touch flo 3d or sense as they call it now i still have thier 3rd party keyboard app running. (click keyboard icon in center of screen and choose about)("touch input for pocket pc version 2.1 copyright htc"). i don't care if i keep thier app or kill it as long as i get the standard keyboard back. any help is greatly appreciated.

On-screen keyboard layout change from Tilt -> HTC Kaiser

I've installed the HTC ROM and the hardware keyboard fix and all is well, but I'm not fond of the keyboard layout. I've searched through the messages here but all I found were a few queries on how to switch that were never answered. Is there a way to change the on-screen keyboard back to the 40 character layout that comes on the Tilt and older Windows Mobile devices after flashing the HTC ROM?

t9 Support on WM 6.1 Professional?

I just bought a Samsung Epix. I love it. But coming from WM 6 Classic (Smartphone), I am very much missing the one-handed input speed that t9 allows. I have been searching long and far for a good tool that works well on a square screen, and the best I could come up with - TouchPal - isn't very usable on this device. I don't think the built-in skin works properly at 320 x 320. Or it's just too complicated for my needs. I want something more lightweight - something nearly as simple as xT9 for WM 6 Classic like on my Tornado.
Are there any tools that put a 6.1 Pro device into "t9" mode so I can use the number keys and have full works auto-suggested for me? It's very hard to use a full QWERTY with one hand!
If nothing exists, I'll probably write my own SIP. I know HTC Touch Pad does *not* work with a keyboard device (it just acts bizarre!), so that's a no go.

Resco Keyboard Pro - problem with Kie's Grey Carbon skin

hi guys,
I have a strange problem with using this skin for Resco Keyboard Pro:
http://www.resco.net/forums/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=18945
The keys are laid down on the screen properly, but the letters
are not. They are not properly positioned on the keys
There is a micro group of letters located in the upper left corner
of the keyboard !!!
I installed the WQVGA version of this skin on my Topaz
with WM 6.5 original HTC upgraded (from 6.1 to 6.5) ROM.
Could you help me somehow ???
Any hints would be great !!
Sorry I am not being of much help for your immediate issue... but I tried fingerkeyboard 2.1 and its much better than Resco's offering... I used to use that too with the same skin (but not on this rom). Keyboard / button layout is almost similar and I like how you can map buttons/shortcuts...

WinMo 5/6 Keyboard in WinMo 6.5

Is there anyway to use the old keyboard? The new one is a lot larger and doesnt support gesture feature. Those features are very useful (and i use it a lot).
btw i'm using touch2 with default ROM.

Spb Keyboard and Windows mobile 6.5.X

Hey there,
Can someone help me search for a keyboard like Spb Keyboard 4 (full screen and PTG (Portuguese-Portugal) layout is a requirement
I'm searching for something like this because Spb Keyboard 4 isn't compatible (aka, I cant register it and I can't access the options of the keyboard) with the newer builds of Windows mobile.
So, if someone knows a workaround for this issue (spb Doesn't :X) or knows a keyboard that more or less fits my needs, please post it below
thx in advance
anyone?
