Suggestion:
Display the percent remaining as well as an estimated time left on the widget
Questions:
Could you go into more detail about the task manager...Does the task manager function similar to autokiller which allows the user to set thresholds as to when the memory manager starts cleaning up various apps.
What is battery calibration?
Will any conflicts occur if you are using other battery tweak programs such as collin_ph's battery tweak for example

I'm gonna call BS on that. It *might* be able to increase battery by a small amount (unlikely, as the very act of monitoring the battery so closely WILL drain more power), but 14+ hours? Absolute BS.
Yeah stuff like this dont do magic lol.

First thanks for your suggestion.
As for your question:
1. Smart Task Manager: Save more battery by smartly killing idle processes running in the background (Based on Memory Booster - Android RAM Optimizer).
2.A battery calibration means ‘Give your Android a full charge, then let the battery run out. Then recharge it to full'. A complete cycle is counted as a calibration. This is goog for your battery and maximum battery life
3. I don't use battery tweek, so I am not sure. But I will test about this question and post later
Probably need to see some stats. I've tried lots of battery optimisers (ultimate juice etc) and in the end I've removed them all as I get best battery life by doing the standard stuff like turning screen brightness down, setting wifi to turn off after 15 mins inactivity and running an undervolted kernel. I'd love to be proved wrong, but I'm sceptical.

Good topic, this will solve the score show offs in all topics once and for all
A suggestion....
Hi, i like your idea
maybe it could be interesting to test the connection speed of the different ROM's because i've read a lot about WLAN issues with drops or extremely slow data-transfer-rates. The quality of the connection could be measured by the app Speed Test. But in this context it is important to mention also the used router.
Just an idea, but maybe the information should be gathered in a seperate thread
Here are some older results gathered in the german android-hilfe-forum:
Result Table
Cheers
Rhonin
Yeah i made it Benchmarks & Testing on purpose so we can eventually add every single test or benchmark in this topic. Battery time, internet speeds, performance scores or other stuff can be discussed in here, just keep it clean and friendly.
The idea is nice though and will surely add this to the front-page. Ill add market links to the suggested benchmark suites and battery test apps too. All results will be put in a nice table.
everything thats dark saves battery. dark background image, dark skins in apps,...
cant we use the battery calibration app from market. isn't it much easier
The most battery draining thing is data transfer with 3g for me (approx 5% per hour). Wifi drains approx. 1-2 % per hour.

Wiping battery stats won't improve the battery life. It's not connected with it. You can read more about that here: http://www.androidcentral.com/wiping-battery-stats-doesnt-improve-battery-life-says-google-engineer
lowest RAM usage. running broodrom rc3 with stock theme (applied using rc3 configurator )
maybe its because of the thunderbolt script LMK addon.
these values were obtained after a fresh boot without opening the app drawer.

It lets the phone know when your battery is full so it doesnt drop or act strange when draining, thus its very helpfull to do it.

For people that want an extra bit of battery juice try: JuiceDefender (free, plus or ultimate, personally i got the plus version and really improves battery time).
What JuiceDefender does:
Being online at any time and any place is what smartphones are all about. But this continuous connectivity comes with a pretty annoying drawback: high power consumption, hence short battery life.
JuiceDefender extends your battery life by intelligently and transparently managing the most battery-draining components of your Android device, like 3G/4G connectivity and WiFi.
It is ready to go right after installation: the preset modes are the perfect way to easily gain precious hours of battery life - it's literally as easy as one tap!
And if you want to go under the hood, you can tweak everything to your unique needs, because JuiceDefender is also fully customizable through a clean and intuitive user interface.
Once configured, JuiceDefender runs by itself, improving your battery life in a fully automated manner.

lol u should consider going into advertising business
nways, i used JD since long ago, and it really works great, but i still think that one of the big advantages of a smartphone is that u are always connected, especially if u use VoIP on a daily basis (especially for international calls) and other messaging apps that require connectivity.

-Improved CPU and RAM Algorithm.
-New icon.
-Added "donate" button to menu.
-CPU Core Algorithm changed.
HAPPY NEW YEARS !!
im always interested in new battery savers but I have some problems..
First killing an app, destroys processes which we dont want as we want to keep ram flowing so we have less battery consumption upon process startup
I recommend you to use only task killers on android 4.0.2 or below or any device that has ram 1gb or lower(you can put it on description)
And for LP and up its better to hibernate apps than killing it due to doze and art changes

You are right but it kills activites for clean RAM. i will change the algorithm. it will kill all acitvies at lock screen. Activities spend very CPU power (Facebook app etc.). I can't hibernate apps on a unrooted/stock device so i am killing acitivities for more energy. I recommend don't open powersave mode if you doing a task on your phone. If your phone rooted, it closes some CPU cores and changes governor values (up_threshold etc.) for minimum performance (it decreases CPU Frequence) and maximum battery saving.
Poorly written apps spend battery but not all apps.. Facebook and messenger while on bg even though the app itself was closed is due to its wait time for syncing messages.. Though written poorly its essential for everyone.. Might as well just lessen the alarm_manager which sync everything to save battery life or limit the gcm_reconnect alarm itself to keep the bg processes for apps with gcm at bay.
Overall, no task killers.. You will only use task killers if you want to go nuclear and you will be leaving your phone about 12 hrs a day in idle.. But if your a regular user.. Its a big NO

I changed a little part of the algorithm. It will hibernate chrome , facebook , messenger and whatsapp. (nearly greenify's feature.) It turns off sync in the last version for battery and data saving. I minimized app killing because app killing sometimes helpful for CPU proccess saving.
If you want help me. We can develop a new battery saving algorithm.
Updated v2.2.6
-CPU Algorithm stabilized.
-RAM Algorithm improved. (Very good than older versions)
-PowerSave mode improved. (Only 3 MB on background)
-Some bugfixes.
Bug: Runs very slow on Touchwiz.
(I will fix it next version)
Updated
New version (v2.4.2)
-Added smart mobile data saving.
-Fixes and improvements for stability.

What is SMDS ?
Q: WHAT IS SMART MOBILE DATA SAVING ?
A: SMDS (Smart Mobile Data Saving) is designed for reducing mobile data usage and battery usage. If you are using mobile data, AndroEnergy tracks the screen status (is locked or unlocked) and changes mobile data status (enable or disable). If your screen lock is locked, AndroEnergy turns mobile data off, or your screen is unlocked AndroEnergy turns mobile data on. You can open this feature in app.

i changed algorithm completely at latest version
What is this?
That's a battery warner, that warns you, when your battery reaches X% on charging or Y% on discharging.
Why should i need that??
Lithium-ion batteries have a longer life, if you pay attention to the following things:
- Don't let the battery too long at 100% on the charger
- Don't discharge it completely
- For the longest life, you need to load "flat"
--> That means, that you charge e.g. between 20-80% instead of 0-100%
And to help you with that, i developed that app:
- It warns you when charging and reaching X% to help you to load "flat"
- And when you discharged to Y%
- If you are rooted you can stop charging after the limit is reached!
Another point is, that you save time, because batteries load slower at 80+%!
Other Features you can use without root:
Creation of a charging graph, so that you see how you have charged and how warm the battery got.
History of past chargings and auto saving of the charging graphs
An battery information notification with the current state of the battery
A dark theme -> optionally also for the info notification!
You are able to toggle the battery warnings for each charging method (ac charging, usb charging, wireless charging) separately.
Other features where you need root for:
Full Tasker Support for the most important settings (for example enable/disable charging)
Stop charging automatically, so you don't need to be in the near of your device to hear the battery warning.
-> That does not work with every device! I have to optimize the app for some devices!
Smart Charging - controls the charging for longer charging sessions (for example over night) to make the battery have a longer life.
-> For that "stop charging" needs to work on your device!
Disable USB charging
-> This prevents charging when plugged in via USB.
-> This also needs "stop charging" to work for your device!
Resetting the android internal battery stats when the battery high warning triggers.
Enabling the power saving mode when the battery low warning triggers.
Fully supported devices for Stop charging (incomplete list):
Oneplus One, 2, 3, 3T, 5T
Samsung Galaxy S3
Moto G (2014)
Nexus 4, 5, 6
Galaxy Nexus (maguro)
Amazon Fire
Nvidia Shield
If your device is fully supported and is not on this list, please tell me!

But please note, that there is the Bug in the 1.92 version that disabled the sound of the notification. I already fixed it in v1.93 and uploaded it.

tested it. works nicely. thanks for the brilliant app
Just added a poll.
Great app! Thanks
A new feature that could be implemented : Screen ON (with active drain = the amount of battery used while the screen is on in %/h) and Screen OFF (with idle drain = battery drain while the screen is off in %/h) times (like EX Kernel Manager can do in his Battery Monitor module)
It would a very useful addition to your battery stats to really understand battery life and compare kernel settings for example.
See The truth about kernels and battery life

For some reason i cannot add the newest apk to the attachements (???)
Hi, great job with the app so far.
One suggestion is why not try to emulate Sony's BatteryCare (and the xposed module, BatteryCare+). You can give users the option to allow access to alarm clock times, which then u can use to predict when to continue charging to 100% maybe 30 minutes or 1 hour before an alarm goes off to minimize overcharging during an overnight charge. This is useful for people who'll be away from a charger for a long period of time for the next day and could use every single % battery available to them. You could also add the ability to schedule which days this setting will be active, for example only during work days, where else on weekends/days off user can use the normal battery charge limit.
Keep up the good work!

This is a complete myth these days with modern charging circuits, even with lithium ion batteries.
A phone battery cannot overcharge unless the phone circuit is faulty...which you will quickly notice from the heat it may build up.
All phones have a charging circuit which turns off or on the charging circuit as required.
So you can leave your phone on charge for as long as you like.

ok, if you are right, than to the same alarm option is useful for many other ways.
just 1 example
there are many users waits for 100% charging, they want to go somewhere charging battery full.
so, they keep checking screen, here this comes useful, once alarm goes, they know battery fully charged.
another example:
low battery alarm, lot of us, need this alarm, android system have it when it goes below 15%.
but lot of users feedback is still my apps low battery alarm is helpful.

Yes I am 100% right...but I still think the app can be of help to many. I am not at all saying your app is useless.
Depending on how you have written this app it might also use a lot of power as it needs to stay in RAM to detect the time as it needs to poll for the time.
