SD card slot went out....

Well heres the story ill keep it short and simple....
I flashed from one rom back to energy rom and put the sd card back in and it didnt read it. Tried reflashing the rom, reflashing back to the other rom, tried flashing to stock rom, hard reseted, soft reseted, reformatted the card, tried a different card and a different brand of card and still nothing. pretty much if it was written in the book i did it. So I came to the assumption that the slot went out on me. Luckily the phone is still under warranty so i get a replacement tomorrow.
My question is, do i just flash the stock rom and reflash hardspl and its good to go to return to them?
*on another note its a good thing this happened as the touch pad is finally starting to peel up in the corner like everyone elses has *
Hola Neighbor!
Flash back to stock ROM then flash Soft SPL, or Stock SPL.
You are already Hard SPL'd and you have to undo that or they will see it in bootloader mode.
Ok so i should be flashing the StockSPL_ForWarrantyOnly_SPL190_1 for the spl correct?
Yes, but only AFTER you flash back yoto your stock ROM.
When you go to bootloader mode, you will see SPL: 1.90 instead of SPL: 1.90Olinex, thats how you know your back to Soft SPL.

any way to back up D2's ROM?

plan to upgrade to WM 6.5 but worry about campatiablity issue.
want to back up the rom and just in case I can roll back to original ROM.
any advise from your guys?
When you do the upgrade, the cooker have already ported all the drivers, then all will work.
But remember to do a hard reset after the upgrade

Does hard reset revert back to original ROM?

The question says most of it.
If not...how do I revert back to original ROM without soft access?
If you have flashed a different ROM then no a hard-reset will not take you back to stock ROM, don't know what device you have? But the wiki is a good place to look for your device stock ROM or the ROM Development sub forum of device.
Easiest way to revert back to the stock ROM is to goto the HTC website and download the one for your cell carrier.

[Q] Need Original Augen Gentouch V1 original rom

I have an Augen Gentouch78 original V1 that has the Pandroid rom installed. I would like to experiment with this tablet and would like to be able to start with the original rom.
1-Does anyone have a link to the original rom for this tablet or would someone be willing to upload an original rom?
2-I have Clockwork recovery installed-using it would a factory reset restore the tablet to its original specs or do I still need a backup rom.
Bottom line-can anyone tell me the best way to get this table back to its original state?
I appreciate any help with this.

[Q] Going from 4.2 AOSP back to 4.1.2 Touchwiz

Ok, I want to try out the new Jellybam v7. I understand that it is 4.2 and it has the /0 folder once you flash the new rom. Let's say I didn't like the rom, and I wanted to go back to the MOAR rom which I am on now. Now last time I went from 4.2 back to 4.1 touchwiz, my phone locked up and was in a constant bootloop. Just to insure that it wouldn't happen this time, what pre-cautions do I need to take just in case I want to nandroid back?
make nandroid if you want.
wipe and go.
Yeah a bootloop wouldn't have been the room itself but a step made during the wipe or restore afterwards. I've made the quantum leap several times and gave been fine
