[Q] Bios-Freeze while Androidphone plugged in(USB) - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]
It looks like something is wrong with my BIOS or with Android - During the POST Initalization and while staying in GRUB with an android phone connected over USB my PC freezes(my pc runs fine after i plugg it out) and _sometimes_ when i plug my Phone while using Ubuntu Linux 10.04/Backtrack 4 (Windows 7 runs fine) some USB-Devices stops working (like my mouse).
I have a Nexus one (every Rom shows this error except i use sven killig's USB-Host compatible kernel which seems to turn off Usb-client abilities anyway). Every other PC boots fine and recognize it.
According to lsusb/lshal every other USB-device seems to be recognized except my Nexus one:

I searched to find anyone else with the same error and only found some threads without any [useful] answers(No one got the same Phone or Mainboard and any solution).
I already tried to un/mount the SDcard and enabling/disabling Debugging over USB.
Does someone know how to fix it or has a list of androidcompatible Mainboards?

It looks like its a general problem with Android and it is device independent

After enabling Plug&play option in the BIOS my PC doesn't freeze - but Linux/Windows crashes.
Then I flashed the newest Beta BIOS (v5001) and loaded setup default settings and it boots fine! But my mouse still doesn't work when i connect my Phone - even the LED on the dockingstation doesn't flash when i press the "Reconnect" button.

USB DUN: a working wvdial.conf for ATT?
Hello I have a Fuze with the stock ROM and am trying to get USB DUN working on GNU/Linux with wvdial. I have tried the following wvdial.conf and some variations of it all with the same problem. I keep getting error code 16 "The modem has hung up" when dialing. If anyone could post a working wvdial.conf for their ATT phone that would be great. I can post the exact error log or anything else if needed. Thanks. Hi. I think I might have toasted my s7 while trying to flash the firmware.
