This is a set of battery icons that changes the current battery icon into a block shape (like the signal strength box). It also includes a custom image for the battery warning that is shown in the pop-up message which appears after you get below 15%.
This set is an off-shoot of my car battery icon design, which can be found here.
So far I have this working on CM 6, and have not tried other roms.
Be careful, this could potentially break your phone or cause nuclear meltdown on the mars for which i cant be held responsible! Install at your own risk!

wow this would be amazing plus the battery percentage
I like these, I only suggest one thing design wise, change the curve on the green/red 'fill' every other icon it'll probably make it look more animated and nicer.

Hello!
I had on my TC with the original ROM a small icon with a battery indicator in the top right corner. After update to Win 6.1 its place was taken by a nasty clock. I managed to get rid of the clock using the registry. Now, how can I make my battery indicator come back? I really long for it ...
P.S. What is bad about charging the battery through USB? I've heard that it is generally recommended to disable this function...
Use the Advanced Config Tool (search the forums for it). It allows you to set whether to display the battery or the clock on the title bar among a myriad of other settings. Really a great tool. There probably is a reg change somewhere but the tool makes a lot of the tweaks easy.
Or a simple registry edit:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\ShowTitleBarClock=0
Hello. I have a Samsung Saga and would love to have a battery bar at the top like the one by spb and this one... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=480914 ...but I am not knowledgable in C++. The bars currently use notifications for the percentage and the Saga uses a registry entry for the battery, so there are no notifications that support the battery utilizations. I have made use of a mortscript I modified that replaces the owner bar information on the today screen with the battery info including now an estimator of how long I can use my phone before I need to charge for the Saga. I just wish I could also have the battery bar at the top, can anyone help with this? Maybe a battery bar could be written that just reads a certain registry entry that I could populate every couple of seconds with the percentage or something similar?
Thanks for any help you can provide,

Hi! I am new to the whole mod and theme idea. Recently, I have been playing around with some files, editing some images to change the way how my phone looks. I am using the circleblue theme to replace the usual battery. However, when I did, it does not show up correctly. Rather, the image remains at a certain number, while the real battery is completely different.
As shown,

I figured that my icon will only move at certain intervals. How can I allow the battery icon to match the real battery percentage? I have all the icon, but the icons will not change. I searched everywhere, but could not find the answer. Maybe because I am unsure of the correct keywords for this.
Thank you!
I just wanted to create this thread to see if other people would like this change or any developers would possibly be able to make it a reality.
Basically I love to get as much battery life as possible as we all know it sucks on the s6 so on every 5.1.1 rom I used I always had power save mode enabled however in 6.0.1 the status bar has changed to grey and personally I do not like this.

that is google's move actually. in nexus it changes to orange. maybe they want us to stop using battery saver because it won't save battery a lot and we lose lots of performance. So they change status bar to grey to remind us this is a power saving mode. don't use it always.
we need an optimized software + bigger battery for a better battery life. battery saver won't help a lot.
So I suggest you stop using it. 5% more battery life on power saver won't worth the performance drop

I've spent the last few days trying to understand why the bar was grey on my stock rooted DPAD ROM. I thought it was because I uninstalled the launcher and about 100 more apps. I reflashed the ROM twice using ODIN, and it was fine at first, then after installing, uninstalling apps and changing the settings it would turn grey. I didn't understand what made it change. This morning I saw that turning on Power Saving was the cause, and then I found your topic. Yes, it's horrible. It's even worse that there's no longer a switch for turning the Back and Recents button LEDs off.
However, if you're rooted and using Xposed, GravityBox will fix it, fortunately. I just tried it, and it gets rid of the grey overlay on the status bar, but there's a minor issue: if you're in an app with a white action bar, the icons and clock won't invert color, so they'll be white on white.

I don't know the official channel or process through which I can Request a Feature for the OxygenOS 5.1.11, so I am trying the XDA's platform.
My Feature Request has technical merit to it.
OnePlus 6 has a notch which takes up almost half of the Notification Bar; so the number of items that can be displayed here are limited.
Currently OxygenOS supports a few Battery Icons i.e. Bar, Circle & Percentage. But using the Bar/Circle icon doesn't provide much information about the Battery Level. And the Percentage just shows the battery percentage in large font.
I am requesting to add a new Battery Icon which supports Percentage inside a Battery Bar Icon. But this bar icon can't be Vertical because the amount of space inside the icon is to small to display percentage properly. So the best orientation is a horizontal one.
Using a horizontal battery bar icon with percentage inside it saves a lot of space in the notification bar.
So please take my request into consideration.
Currently only the Lenovo's Vibe UI uses this type of battery icon. Check attachment for reference.
Or you could use only percentage... I doubt they will see this suggestion, id try oneplus community if I were you. nonetheless, the more customization options the merrier I guess
you know you can just use the Weta 3mint battery mod.

Or circle with percentage inside....
