[Q] How to match real battery percentage with battery icon? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Hi! I am new to the whole mod and theme idea. Recently, I have been playing around with some files, editing some images to change the way how my phone looks. I am using the circleblue theme to replace the usual battery. However, when I did, it does not show up correctly. Rather, the image remains at a certain number, while the real battery is completely different.
As shown,

I figured that my icon will only move at certain intervals. How can I allow the battery icon to match the real battery percentage? I have all the icon, but the icons will not change. I searched everywhere, but could not find the answer. Maybe because I am unsure of the correct keywords for this.
Thank you!

Question about battery indicator

I am using the stock AT&T ROM. The battery indicator under Settings/Power just shows a green bar with remaining battery life, but no percentage. Is this how it's supposed to be? Is there a way to get the percentage of battery remaining to show as well?
yo can have percentage of battery on taskbar. Look at this tread:

Thanks for the response. I'm not looking for new icons, though - I just wondered if there was a way to get information about battery percentage (like a registry edit). Do other people's Fuzes show percentage battery remaining under the power setting? I checked my husband's, and his, like mine, does not give this information.
have you found a way into this?
i'm looking for the same thing -- instead of the icon an actual % like 10% etc... but i can't find anything for it.
edit:
the url that Majkeljj posted is correct.
i found a post with this picture

and the solution was that mod.
i will try it and see
I was less concerned about changing what it says on the taskbar (I don't want it to look crowded with so much stuff), but hoping I could find a way for it to show the percentage when you actually go into the settings menu. When I go into the settings, there is no percentage there - just the visual representation of how much battery life is left. I still haven't found the answer to this.
Anyone find out if it is possible to add this? I just noticed this tonight. I'm on a custom rom (Da-G 2.02) but I do not have a battery level percentage under Start>Settings>System>Power.

Battery Icon won't change

O.K. I tried so many cabs for the 1% battery gunge that now it shows 100% all the time. Or when I unplug it it still shows the plug icon. Anyone know of a way to return it to normal without doing a hard reset?
I'm having this same problem... i've been trying to install a taskbar of some sort with nicer icons and haven't been able to get any to work correctly, mostly because the signal strength Icon is replaced by the "no sim card" icon. so I've uninstalled them, and have the same problem now with the Battery not updating...
Use this
Ive used this cab to fix mine altough the battery icons will change u can make a search to find other taskbar icons if you like and the battery increments will go by 20% but work tough. Not my work but worked for me

[THEME] Removed battery icon, change battery percentage text size?

I changed my framework-res so that while the battery is discharging, there is no battery icon. With the black status bar, and the battery percentage as a numeric value, it just doesn't seem necessary any more.
So my problem is this: I'd like to make the text for the battery percentage the same size as the clock, or at least larger than what it is. It's currently sized to fit inside a battery icon.
I've read up on smali and baksmali, and have a few tutorials on how to work with them and I feel confident enough to modify everything, I just don't know where to look to find the values for the battery percentage. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

changing order of icons in notification area

Since we can remove icons, I figure there has to be a way to reorder them.
Specifically I'm looking to move the wifi/3G icon to be after the Cell signal (but before the battery). Also I'd like for the vibrate icon to be to the left of all the icons.
anyone know if this is possible?
has anyone even looked into this?
If you haven't figured it out yet, try searching the Incredibly Re-Engineered thread. I know it's in there somewhere.

Change status bar color on the Skyrocket

Hey all,
I have modified my phone with a blue/tech-like appearance throughout most of the phone and applications. They very last thing missing that I can't seem to figure out is how to change the status bar text/icon color? I've done this on other phones in the past but can't seem to do it with this one.
Take a look at the attachment. That is my current homepage. I would like the top status bar to have a blue color as close to theme or clock color.
Any way to do this?
Thanks!
Anyone have some ideas on how to do this? I was able to change all the icons on status bar/task bar to blue with the exception of the time. I can't seem to change it.
Thanks,
Did you figure this out? I've been trying as well.
Yes, I was able to change absolutely everything except for the Time. I still can't figure out how to change the damn time. Also, obviously you likely won't be able to change the 4G icon because it is quite different in appearance and it doesn't seem to replace it.
If anyone knows how to change time color, please let me know.
Thanks,

Same here, I changed the color of date, notifications text in status bar and all icons. Here is a good tutorial, but didn't work either.

At first you might be like "huh?" if you've never used it but its a wonderful resource for things like that. Also a real time saver for battery mods n such
