Quake 1 was released and is on market available by Zottd. Runs really well,.. could use some more control configurations for phones like the Droid X.
I miss starcraft that I used to play on my touch pro 2, any starcraft ports for android?

I'd love to see X-Com ported like WinMo's Pocket UFO.
I wish someone would also do Master of Orion and Master of Magic. I think those three games are what I hold all games since then up to as a benchmark. Maybe I'm just strange, but I absolutely love those three.

Well that does make sense but the tp2 and the Droid x are both android device's I don't see why there would be an incompatability between them other then the lack of track ball

Black & White 1 and 2, Syndicate, Red Alert 2 and Xenon 2 would all take my money from my food bill.
Sweet baby J, please someone port these games to Android.
Surely my GSII should run any of these games with ease

Hows the performance of this app on various phone models? Does it require Snapdragon, Hummingbird, OMAP3630, OMAP3430, OC'd versions? Also, controls?

if ur using froyo on ur motorola droid and overclocked it to 800-1000 mhz, then ur pretty good
Just tried to buy it, I'm hung @ authorizing purchase. Per Zodttd's twitter Google has put the brakes on it for the moment.
Well that sucks. I should have gotten it when I had the chance. They havent stopped other emulators on the market.
got capcom vs snk, armored core and wipeout xl working on it. hard to find good roms and the controls are as tricky as gensoid and snesoid. i hope the devs keep updating it to make it better
Also the lack of support for L2 and R2 make some games impossible to play...

Hi,
I bought a Come One Bluetooth Gamepad one year ago for my old Samsung Omnia.
It worked perfectly for FPSECE (psx emulator for WinMo).
Do you know if it would work with Android / HTC Desire / psx4droid ?
Hey, if you're still having trouble getting the app from the Market, it's available on SlideME.
Anyways, mrtankjump from droidforums has made a wiki with game ROMs that are working. If you like it contribute!

like the app ,just wish the htc desire would rotate the otherway. I would like the track ball of the left in landscape mode and not on the right.
Does this support multi-touch? Or does the program simply not support combination of buttons being pressed at the same time?
I have 2 fighting games (Dragonball Final Bout and Ultimate 22). I can't get any combinations to work. For example, in Final Bout, to go quickly to the opponent, you use "L1" + "arrow key". But that doesn't work...
Hey guys! I'm seriously considering getting a gtab, and one of my curiosities is how many multitouch points it can support. Would one of you care to get the "multitouch test" app from the market, and report back to me how many points were supported? I appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!

2 for vagan tab gingerbread edition.
But, is this limited by hardware of software??? I would like to see 5 or more multitouch support in honeycomb. That would be awesome. XD
My understanding is that it is a limitation of the touch display (hardware).
Sorry, but I find two is plenty for my needs.
I know 2 is great for nearly everything, I have 3 points on my incredible, and it's wasted, there are very few apps that support more than 2 points. I was just curious since it's a Tegra 2, which is supposed to be excellent for gaming, and 10 points may come in to play sometime in the near future. We'll see, but thanks for the input. I'm gonna take the plunge in a few weeks.

huh? games i can play on the hd2 i can't play on the sensation? is it because of the screen size? can't be because of the processing power.
didnt notice any lag in the following games :
NOVA 2 HD
Modern Combat 2 HD
Fast 5 HD
Galaxy on Fire 2
Fruit ninja
GraveDefense HD
Pinball HD for tegra
Samuarai Vengeance 2
ExZeus and
Asphalt 6 HD
most of them are gameloft games i got working and some are even nvidia tegra games only which i have....these games look just fabulous !

If you root and get ChainFire 3D from the Market, and then get the Tegra 2 plugin, yes you can play TegraZone games
No need for root, i downloaded patched/cracked versions thats why it is working, because there is no native support for our sensations yet

At the moment no, mainly because of the qHD resolution on the Sensation, but i am pretty sure they will support it in the future. Meanwhile you can try the Desire HD version of the games, although you won.t be able to get one unless is cracked, so i am not encouraging this

every gameloft game works great for me.
Download Spareparts+ off market, open it, enable compatibility mode and restart device. Any app ive thrown at it ive had no problems
What doesn't work?
I picked up Asphalt 6 HD and Dungeon Hunters HD during the 2/$3 deal.
Both have been working great for me. Didn't need to install anything extra.
Samurai 2 Vengeance is a sick game on both DHD and sensation, proper hack and slash beat em up, brings me back to the double dragon and renegade days, god i feel old saying that.
Totemo HD, just a great little game, easy to play and hard to finish.
PES2011 works better than the ps1 couterpart, great optimizing to get this to run so well on a phone.
Pool Break Pro, the best way to chill on a train when some kids screaming next to you, just pop on your headphones and break, cool game.
Meteor blitz, cool game.
Random Mahjong
Tiger Mame, neogeo on your phone ? Neo turfmasters, kof etc etc.
yeah, lot of the games are starting be become available on the Sensation.
Need for Speed works very well as well as Samurai 2 Vengeance.
I hope Konami and Capcom gets on the ball and bring MGS and SF.

Gameloft's customer service is one of the best around.
I've had the same experience.
I wrote them regarding Asphalt 6 making the Sense reboot upon exit and they offered me a free game to make up for the inconvenience.
I wasn't expecting that and was caught off guard by that gesture.
I just wrote them so they know about the issue in hopes maybe they can come up with a fix on a future update or something...
talk about going above and beyond to make a customer happy...
and they are still working on the problem. it's been escalated to higher ups.
perhaps they'll have a fix soon.
Like game cube ps2,and etc

The emulators out there now are generally ports from existing open source projects. I have no reason to not believe that Snesoid was using Zsnes' source code.
As far as I was last aware, it was difficult to achieve PS2/PS3 emulation and development is sort of dead. I imagine for GC there was dolphin emulator are some that might work, but probably not all games are compatible.

another thing to consider.. have you tried n64oid? i love playing my supersmash, but without that psychical controller, its just not the same.. now when i play my pokemon Red, i dont mind, but when it comes to lots of complicated controls, and crucial combos, things start messing up.. and too many buttons take up much of the phones real estate. solution? good question.. cant think of one.. carry a bluetooth gamecube controller? lol maybe.. more phones like xperia play? that could work.. but its hard enough on the real thing.. sigh
I haven't been following PS3 emulation, but I know PS2 emulation is decent right now. But even so, it's hard enough to get them to work on computers that I don't know how much effort would go into developing them for smartphones. The controller things gets to me too, although apparently they're starting to make phones in the shape of controllers.
I can say that a Bluetooth control pad makes a huge difference.
I personally have an iControlPad.
http://www.icontrolpad.com
Every emulator I've used so far supports it fully and it has an added benefit of being able to provide additional battery power to the phone.

It saddens me greatly that some of the classics are not represented on Android in any way (that I can see). Here are three of my favorites that would work well on a mobile device.
1. Mind Walker. Arguably the first Amiga 1000 game, arguably the first 16-bit game. There are other contenders, but this one has a pretty legit claim. And the gameplay was pretty unique. The randomly generated map is supposed to be a person's mind. Each screen of the map is a 5x5 grid, with each tile supporting a pyramid, a crystal, or one of the four character types. Standing under the pyramid changed your character, and you had to make a path from one crystal to another to get to the next stage, and it just got weirder from there.
2. Zak McKracken. One of the better SCUMM games, but ScummVM for Android doesn't support it. Point and click adventure.
3. Marble Madness. Why hasn't this been done already? The most popular of the bunch here, it was ported on the NES and a couple other systems. The whole thing could be done with a tilt sensor. After the first couple levels, it got hard, quick, but mostly due to the "Simon says" controls, you were never really in control of the ball. It only had 6 levels, I think, maybe 7, possibly 8. Fewer than 10. But it wouldn't be hard to add them, since it was limited by disk space back in the day.
thanks for sharing looking forward to next update
download links dont seem to working

Why not just download the amiga emulator free on google play store and then download the roms of the games you like? Emulator is called 'UAE4Droid'.
Didn't know it existed, thanks. Looks like it's still in development. It basically works but doesn't run anything. Mouse input is completely off, just broken all over. Emulating a computer on a phone is a fundamentally bad idea, though. The games would have to be individually reimagined as touch screen games.
