[ROM][DEC 8] Official RUU_Ace_Sense30_S_HTC_WWE_3.12.405.1 STOCK ROOTED

Dear xda-members,
Hereby I present you the latest official HTC Desire HD rom wich is completely stock, I only rooted it and added superuser and busybox.
Warning: Your device must be rooted already, search forum on how to do this.
The ROM has been split into 2 parts, this is due to filesize upload limits on mediafire.
Please download both parts, then use 7-Zip to extract the ROM.

After flashing the ROM it is advised to flash the RADIO aswell:

howto flash: Put PD98IMG.zip in root of sdcard, then poweroff your phone. Now poweron your phone while holding volume_down key,
then follow onscreen instructions.

Thats correct, use with cwm to flash the zip.
Then to update the radio, put the PD98IMG.zip in the root of your sdcard and reboot your phone while push and hold the volume_down key.

1.Boot your phone in recovery mode (vol down + power)
2.Wipe data Factory Reset
3.Wipe Cache partition
4.Install Zip from SD card .... wait Finish
5.Restart
6.Boot your phone in recovery mode (vol down + power)
7.Install Radio Zip from SD card .... wait Finish
8.Restart

I flashed the ROM but is not allowing me to update RADIO IMG.
It says: Installation aborted.
Any idea why?

I wanna know.. will flashing this ROM or the HTC shipped ROM with Sense 2.1 ...remove Eng S-Off and Radio S-Off ??

nitr00 Radio IMG.zip is not working.
However I flashed the ROM and restarted phone suddenly it works with the old RADIO.
Hope you do something to correct the technical mistake.

I think this is because I did not deodexed/zip aligned the rom. This must be enabled in order to use mods and stuff, but for the sake of stock I have not altered these features.
Maybe I release a deodexed/zip aligned version, but perhaps it would be wise to use a custom/tweaked rom with all these features already enabled.

The radio and rom are a matched-pair released by HTC, so the matching RIL is already in the rom.

Is there anyone who can tell me what are the advanteges of using stock 3.0 ? Right now I use Runny3D V4.0 with Sense 3.5, and I flashed Amaze Camera 3.5. It has minor issues with camera but quite ok. I wonder how is the camera app in the stock 3.0. Does it have panaroma or HDR function? I would be happy if someone tell me those.

[Q] HELP!!! HTC sensation bricdked!

I was trying to update to Android Revolution HD 3.6.13 and in the process after installing PG58IMG the phone keeps restarting on bootloading htc screen. When I tried to access the boatloader I found Revolutionary recovery v5.0.0.8 is only there. Factory reset is also not working.
Please guys, help me to fix this. I just bought the cell couple of days back. Drving me crazy... Please somebody reply now...

does the firmware for the rom fits the one u installed 3.24/3.25 firmware it doesnt work with GB 1.17 will by my knowledge

first wipe data then cache.

only thing you have to wait for is the little box that here says it needs to optimize my 277 apps wich at fresh boot takes my phone to do in a normal period i usually insert my pin-code

you can bootloader as well
to use cmd go into bootloader(screen when hold vol - + power) then just click power 1 time
then typin cmd: [command] adb push your-rom.zip /sdcard
note that the rom must be in same folder as adb
or use the flash command with adb wich im very sorry for that i forgot

i checked u have a gb rom wich needs firmware package 1.17 ill give u the download link :

put it on root of your sd and go into BOOTLOADER
it will upadte automaticly do not flash
flash rom after downgrade again wipe data chash davlik and you should be good to go otherwise try ARHD 4.1.13 i used it with the 1.17 firmware and it worked

the PG58IMG needs to be in root of sd then boot by bootloader let it update then remove it from sd by sd reader plugged into pc then rom in root flash it and you get the rom working
MAKE SURE FIRMWARE AND ROM MATCH

For those not familiar with the Aroma installer, there are some good options in the "Advanced" screen. For example, I don't know if Audiophile ICS preserves /data by default when flashing. Aroma lets you back it up during the install process.
If you have a modem that you prefer to the KJ6 modem that is bundled with this ROM, you may want to use the Advanced settings to disable the modem flash.
Additionally, TWRP will let you stack zips, so you can, for example, flash in one pass:

gapps
Your own modifications in a zip
Kudos to Raver for not packaging gapps and obeying the licensing requirements imposed by Google.

Just install the rom zip. It will install twrp for you.

you can just install if you want to keep anything do the custom install and then click backup data/restore data so it keeps your files in tact ... it will auto format system data cache for you

you will need to download a gapps package do to the fact i cannot include it in the rom itself i dont have a link for one but i think there is one floating around here.

check md5 of your download if it matches try a reflash.

reboot to cwm scroll down to flash zip from sd card choose the zip file click flash it will load aroma installer follow on screen prompts flash reboot profit ;P

no u need the gapps pack u can get it from the link above my post.. just grab gapps for cm9 on that page and reboot recovery flash the gapps pack u downloaded and put on ur card reboot let it go from there

Definitely a fun ROM!
I just noticed that Droid48 doesn't scale well to the "mini-tablet" format, but that is likely an app problem, not a ROM problem. Still totally usable, just funny to see the little calculator buttons and labels.
SuperUser didn't update properly for me through Play -- I'll see if I can reproduce later on.

HTC One SV (K2_UL / K2_U Only) ROM

Big massive thanks a lot to Old.splatterhand, Matlevo12, and Russians for the kernel for all their help and for everything they did in the One SV topic (and more).
ive just uploaded my rom, K2_UL only, this should also work on the K2-U but as I don't own this version this is untested however I believe they carry the same ROM just minus the 4g LTE on the U version of the phone, however the Kernel was built for both devices, this is my first attempt and has been running fine on my phone for a few days now, changes are as follows and theres more to come yet,this is V1.1 based on JB:
Boot animation is Old.splatterhand
Changed shutdown animations
Rooted with SuperSU
Added Busybox
Russian kernel with w/p removed
Battery with %
Stripped most widgets, wallpapers, live wallpapers, bloatware and apk's from it (except what I use regular)
Removed media link HD
Removed tell HTC
Removed quick tips
Added some ringtones and notifications (excuse me sir & sniper rifle)
antutu score is 11548

Install instructions: (DOESNT MATTER IF YOUR S-ON or S-OFF)
1 Download rom and extract boot.img from ROM, then place in your fastboot folder
2 Place the ROM on your SD card
3 Boot into fastboot then flash the boot.img via fastboot (this is required, skipping this step you will loose wifi)
4 boot into your recovery and full wipe your system, data, cache etc except SDcard of course
5 Flash rom zip
6 Wipe data, cache and dalvik
6 Reboot
First boot takes about 5 mins, will appear to be stuck on the boot screen at first, just be patient, very fast booting after initial setup.

I think it should work, if you use the russian kernel (boot.img & lib files). But as always make a backup in recovery before.

Yes, zobat has the K2_U, the Russian kernel is built into the Rom and so are the lib files, if your are s-on you will have to flash the boot.img in fastboot (fastboot flash boot boot.img)

I have super cid ,unlocked bootloader and s-off.

Hm, i could not find any difference to mine. But i know, from my previous phone, that languages (at least) will be activated there.
I used a chines Rom for my Desire S for a time, which had only chinese and english as language and i added more in changing the files/folders inside the customize folder.
But to come back to this phone: maybe your language is activated by another file, for example the build.prop of your stock rom?

This is because i changed this rom when i saw that it didn´t have Spanhis from Spain. I flashed you rom :laugh::laugh:

yr S-off , custom recovery and still Hboot 1.44 intact, u can use revone
on this. If u are already S-off , rooted and want to just upgrade the firmware flash this
If u flash this :
2.24.707.1-Unmodified firmware.zip
Yr S-off may be gone but u cannot use revone commands anymore . Hboot will be upgraded to 1.54 , custom recovery will be removed and potential problems later one . Flash this if u want just like the Stock OTA upgrade

Explanation for the above: Generally U need to remove 3 things if u want to flash firmware on S-off phone
Boot.img - Kernel ( this is stock kernel ) remove if u are on custom rom
recovery.img ( HTC recovery) remove if u ant yr TWRP or CWM intact
Hboot ( remove if u want to keep yr phone Unlocking bootloader ability )

TO all noobs
first u need super CID 11111 to flash any region firmware or custom firmware not intended for yr device
remove these files from any downloaded firmare.zip if u find them inside
Boot.img - Kernel ( this is stock kernel ) remove if u are on custom rom
recovery.img ( HTC recovery) remove if u want yr TWRP or CWM intact
Hboot ( remove if u want to keep yr phone Unlocking bootloader ability )

Thanks for fixing the links. No the firmware is not included in the ROM. It only has boot.img, /system and /data/preload. The firmware will need to be flashed separately using fastboot oem rebootRUU. The firmware can be extracted from the OTA firmware.zip or the link above. I'd remove hboot from the firmware as well. 1.54 hboot is a problem. Haha.

yes , thats what i meant. The rom should not contain recovery or Hboot or any firmware files
BTW if yr recovery is already TWRP, after flashing this rom , TWRP will automatically install the root access for u
Anyway this rom is supposed to be GSM/LTE. Cause phones with 707 region are LTE phones
So try changing the title

No . This firmware is the full version. I stated earlier ... It will result in loss of root .. u need to remove the boot.omg, recovery.ing and hbootbya.img before flashing

just to confirm, if i'm currently on CWM touch and ARHD and would like to get back to stock recovery and stock ROM
i just need to download the 2 files quoted by Magpir and flash them using the following instructions?
Download stock odexed version of most recent firmware and recovery.img
Move recovery.img to c:\mini-sdk location
Boot your device in recovery mode (power off the device and turn it on using power + vol down buttons and select "RECOVERY")
In main menu, select "install zip from sdcard" and "choose zip from sdcard".
Navigate to the location of stock ROM (zip) package and confirm flashing procedure.
After flashing process is complete, reboot the device in bootloader mode.
Connect your device to the PC
Boot your device in fastboot mode (like you did during unlocking bootloader - power off the device and turn it on using power + vol down buttons and select "FASTBOOT")
Open up command prompt ( Start > Run > type cmd and hit enter ). The window that appears is called Command Prompt. <click here to see the image>
Navigate to where you unzipped "mini-sdk" package (type in Command Prompt: cd c:\mini-sdk). Note: make sure the path is not c:\mini-sdk\mini-sdk
In the Command Prompt type following command: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
You have now stock boot, system and recovery partitions. Time to relock your bootloader.
In the Command Prompt type following command: fastboot oem lock.

choose only one of the files. NOT BOTH!
modified firmware - preserves yr root and compatibility with Revone
Unmodified - U want to Stock everything including recovery, bootloader and of course yr root and revone compatibility gone

The Mega link works fine for me. I'm not sure why you are having problems. I know Mega is picky when it comes to browsers...
