$90 USD, damn that expensive!! I cracked the glass on my battery cover, but there is nowhere in NZ that sells parts, and to courier is almost as much as buying a new phone!!!
The back covers are around 30 USD, They are such a terrible design, having to lever them off, of course the glass is going to crack.
I waiting for Ebay to start making some back covers for $5 free postage.

I think more info could be found in the other threads which are already about this; then you can decide whether to invest a heavy £2, whilst waiting for the real desire cases to get to market.

you have to be joking, dummy phones dont come to bits they are a fixed piece of plastic but the £15.99 back cover from HTC does look good but extremely expensive.

Hi, I'm from the UK and really want a white very good quality battery cover for my Galaxy S! I know their are hundreds on ebay that are really cheap but i doubted the quality and if it fits to the phone properly... Has anybody had one of these covers from ebay??

I just got a 3 quid brand new one on Ebay, it's perfect, looks like a stock Samsung item...
I had a quick look at ebay and the battery cover looks pretty much identical to the original one...It seems it will fit very well, almost perfect...You should definately try these cheap good quality battery covers...!!

As far as I can tell, it *is* the genuine item. I cannot tell it in any way from the original item black cover that was on the phone before. Well, other than colour

sizes are bit different, so you should buy the right one without experimenting

Sorry for late reply. I wouldn't say hard. Just need to follow a disassembley guide. Tip with removing the screen is to heat it up with a hair dryer.

I am a bit suspicious of the ebay seller you listed because of the price. The retail is $25 and they are selling it for $9? That's too good a deal. Will be very interested to see what you get. If it's good maybe I'll pickup one, just don't tell my wife... I only have 5 cases, need an even half dozen.

i've a hard time consider which colour to get, as all looks gd xcept for the pink..
but heck.... its cheap, so if its gd i'll order the silver the 2nd rd.

I bought a cheep bumper (not the same one) and I was very disappointed to realize the camera still sticks out far enough to get scratched whe I lay it on its back.
Please let us know in your review if it allows the camera bezel/lense cover to contact the surface of whatever it is laying on.

FYI, most aftermarket back covers have a very small lip on it to protect the camera lens. It's really small <1mm but it's there:

I did the same thing. I'm hoping mine gets delivered by next week. I don't think I've been this excited about a case in awhile.

Forgot to mention my only concern is that not all TPU button covers work good. I've had some cheap TPU cases where the buttons were so horrible the case was not usable.
If i had to guess, the buttons on this case look plastic like the ones on the SGP Neo Hybrid. If you watch the Youtube video you can see the inside of the buttons. Usually the problem with plastic buttons is over-responsiveness if anything.

So I know some people out there at first hated the port cover. As being one of them, I initially removed it. Then after seeing countless threads about how you can't do the trade in without it or that you will be charged for it. I looked into replacement parts. At this point it was to early, so I left it alone. Now after some time I looked back into it.

I was excited to see that Blue battery cover but lost all excitement when I see a big cheesy "4G" logo on it why can't anyone sell a more accurate knock off or at least the legit OEM ones!

Honestly just buy a few of these for a few bucks a piece. Remove the battery cover and you can replace it taking out 1 screw by the battery slot.
No one will ever be able to tell as long as the door is an OEM part and you don't strip/mangle the screw or something crazy as warranty still intact.
