new rom no phone - Touch Pro2 CDMA

Every time I switch roms i have to dial the #3282 to activate the phone. It starts everything back except the phone...when you dial out you get a message could not authenticate and sends you to verizon. On my vogue i changed roms about twice a month never had a problem. Is there a fix for this or everytime time i flash a new rom i have to call verizon for them to reactivate my phone service??
I've tried researching this with no sucess.
Thanks, Eric

[SOLVED] Touch pro hangs up when I call voicemail

Hello, I have only had my touch pro a few days and when I try to access my voicemail I get to the part to enter my pin, then it tells me "first new message..." and then it hangs up. Is this a known issue? I tried searching the forum and in fact all of google, but nothing.
Any ideas?
I've had the same issue here in the Netherlands.
Disconnect when I called my own VM, also a disconnect when I tried to leave a message at a friend.
Both are in the TMobile network.
Just tried it again, but it workes ok now
solved
I figured it out for my phone. When I put my sim card in, the phone auto detects settings for sms, mms, data and voicemail. Here in Canada, providers have several different voicemail retrieval numbers and the phone autodetected the wrong one. I thought that since it did work at least somewhat, that the number was not the issue.
Contact your service provider and make sure your phone didn't choose the wrong retrieval number too

My Cellphone won't connect to network after 4.0.4 update

Hi all,
Yesterday, I've accepted to upgrade to Android 4.0.4, HTC Sense 4.1 build 2.40.666.1.
Now from that time, my cellphone won't make any calls, receive any text or w/e. The only thing tho, when I freshly start it in the morning, it connects to the 3G long enough to get my missed txt, voicemail etc. Then it disconnects.
The APN server is ok.
I've called HTC and they want to repair it under warranty. The thing is, I can't lose my phone for long period of time as I'm using it for work.
What could I do on my own?
UPDATED INFO
-Second factory reset. First one didn't work. Used the vol- button & power button to make factory reset. Without any APN names, my phone seems to connect to network. I call my GF's phone and it works. My GF sends me a txt but I do not receive it until I tried to call her. It disconnects frequently from network. Signal varies a lot 2 to full bar. I send txt and my GF receives it instantly.
Any help or hint would be appreciated !
Thanks!

[Q] Google Voice not dialing out with CWM 11

Hello! This is my first post here, I hope I'm putting it in the right place.
I got a unlocked HTC One Mini a few weeks ago, and I can't seem to dial out with google voice. When I try to have GV intercept outgoing calls from the dialer, the screen goes black and then just returns to the dialer. If I change it to ask every time, it enters a loop where it keeps asking me if I want to use GV, which I can't escape without selecting not to.
I have tried multiple dialing apps, and the same thing happens with all of them. GV worked fine on my old phone, so I don't think it's anything with my GV account. I have reinstalled gv, and tried to dial out with hangouts disabled. Neither changed anything. I even tried reverting to the default theme pack.
I found a thread that describes a similar issue, but it was never answered and the last post is a year ago. Sorry if I should have posted there instead

I'm on a t-mobile prepaid plan, and I know I have minutes, because I can dial out using my phone's native phone number.
I am running CyanogenMod version 11-20140725-NIGHTLY-m4.
Thanks for any advice

Sim unlock S5 Sport Sprint G860P strange problem :(

Hi guys, i have two G860p and tried to unlock them for using in New Zealand
Both of them running android 5.0 and i used the idoneapps to unlock it
For the FIRST one, the phone got signal, can send text, use 3G data, make phone call BUT ONLY UNABLE TO RECEIVE phone call. There is always an error of "Unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped" when other people call me. I did factory reset and used the another unlock method - bring back to 4.4.4 and unlock by SU.apk (http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...sim-unlocking-sprint-galaxy-s5-g900p-t3085624) but it still has the same issue. After that i dialed ##72786## to bring the phone back to original setting to find another solution. One day after that, i realize that i didn't enable the GCF after unlock the phone and tried to do it immediately with the hope that it will solve my issue. Unfortunately, the issue still happen and i also have a new trouble with handset free activation.
Interestingly, for the second one, i just need to enable GCF after using the idone apps and it works perfectly. In fact, it has no issue with receiving phone call like the first one.
So, anybody understand what happen with my first phone after dial ##72786##, how can i get rid of handset free activation and unlock my phone like the second one. In fact, i have tried to flash the orginal room, factory reset, etc, but the handset free activation still appear and unable to receiving phone call after unlock as well.
oh, another information is my first phone has clean ESN and is not blacklisted

Problems Handling Phone Calls (Call Waiting, 3 way, etc.) Verizon S5 on AT&T Network

Problems Handling Phone Calls (Call Waiting, 3 way, etc.) Verizon S5 on AT&T Network
recently bought a used Verizon Galaxy S5 (SM-G900V). It came with the lollipop OS. My service provider is H2O wireless (on the AT&T Network. From the outset, I had problems with phone calls, text messaging.
1. When I'm in a call, I'm not able to dial (Like to enter numbers for automated systems).
*I solved this one by going to:
settings>applications>call>
Scroll down to DTMF tones and change setting to long.
2. When I'm in a call, I'm not able to click over to calls on call waiting. When I do try to click over, I still hear the original call for a few seconds and then both calls drop and I get an error message that says "no sim or invalid sim". If I don't answer the call, both calls drop and I get the same message. The same thing happens if a try to make a 3 way call.
3. If someone calls me and I try to call them back, the call redirects to turn it into an international call and the call doesn't go through.
*I solved this using an app called prefixer
4. If I try to text message someone who called me, I get an error message back saying the phone number is invalid.
I figured I would have to root my phone to be able to make some custom changes. I first had to downgrade to kitkat (android 4.4.2) and root it and then upgrade with root using some very helpful posts and resources found on this site (thanks). When I downgraded, problems 1 and 2 went away (for number 1, I had to change my network mode, but that solution didn't work when I went back to lollipop). After upgrading beack to lollipop, all of these problems were there, though I was able to resolve 2 of them, the other 2 are problematic.
I think theres a problem with the way the phone is handling the AT&T network signal since they have a different type of network from verizon but i don't know.
I'm will in try to install a custom ROM, change settings in service mode, etc. I just haven't come accross any info to point me towards the right instructions. Alternatively, I may trade or sell this phone ant get an AT&T based phone. What do you suggest?
