problem with dolphin browser - XPERIA X10 Themes and Apps

Hello guys, i have a problem with dolphin browser. Everything worked fine until few days ago, now however then i enter a website it wont display it normal way like on pc, it splits website in to pieces, and if i wanna read for example an older article wich is on the end of a page, i have to go like to 25th part of it. it sucks this way. i also tried opera mini browser, it shoes everything normal way, but i cant go to some websites, cause its identified as mobile, not as desktop computer. Hope you understood me and srry for my english.

a little confused.. could you by any chance take a screenshot? and out of curiosity did ya press any option by accident that resulted in this incident?

Yeah its hard to explain, could you tell me any software to make a screenshot ?

If ya rooted you can simply download shootme and use that.. the latter is a little more complicated.. u would have to look it up using search!

Adobe sees the writing on the wall. Flash is dead, especially on mobile. Use HTML5 sites, disable flash plugin, and enjoy a faster, better Internet.
The Flash is ok on mine. Used a few time... Well one problem, it make my picture look yellowish when i taking a picture at night...
I have more issues on forums or anything with a ton of links than flash. I can browse porn sites littered with ads and popups and flash in desktop useragent mode with no issues with flash fully enabled. But I can't browse xda without using opera mobile. The Samsung browser just doesn't like some websites but despite what the experts say it doesn't seen to be flash related cuz even with it disabled I can't browse xda.

Question about Opera Browser

I love Opera, but there's one big issue that I have with it. I'm a big sports junkie and I go to ESPN.com dozens of times daily, and they recently re-designed their mobile site like 6 months ago or so. Anyways, I love the re-design and is much more useful and quicker to get the info I want/need. The problem with Opera is that it still goes to ESPN's OLD mobile site which I didn't really like. Its been over 6 months now since the re-design and other 3rd party browsers access the new one. But why can't Opera go to it? And why does it use the old one? Anyways, anything would be of great help!
Just a suggestion but the ESPN app is real good, it's what I use.

Thanks for the response. Are you talking about the ScoreCenter app?
Yeah I like it better than the website. Anyway have you tried any page specific settings? I know in dolphin HD browser there is a useful addon that lets you quickly switch between desktop and mobile modes. I've never used opera but maybe something similar can be found in settings somewhere.

You have made two threads lol. One for each mobile. I am also trying to fix google page for the opera mobile.

Post no. 8 seems to help to some extent but it doesn't fix google page for Galaxy S II. Try what he instructed and who knows you might end up lucky because it worked for facebook page for me.

Yeah I've thought of something similar, but what I don't understand is why Opera can't access ESPN's new mobile site. It only accesses the old mobile site before the re-design.
"Seems like Google Page has been crossed referenced / optimized with Google Android Browser to look and work flawlessly while others browsers dont "have the source codes" to make the page appear and function in optimized state."

Go to opera mobile then settings> advanced, then change user agent from mobile to desktop. That should fix it.

But that would take away the mobile site for ESPN, which I like. It's just that with Opera I get the old mobile site, whereas any other Browser app I get the new one with is much better.
Check post no. 8 in the link I have given before. It might help you..

Opera always works for me.
Think you have to press download, then "try again" and download and it should work.
What he's saying is that it loads a blank page no button to press I'm having the same problem on stock 2.3.4

I noticed this yesterday as well.
I think the problem is that mediafire doesn't like the android user agent anymore.
If your browser supports it, change your user agent to desktop and refresh the page. You'll be able to download after that.
The browser I used was Boat Browser btw. You guys should check it out

There's a downloader app in the market place that's supposed to help alleviate this issue as well as downloading of large files or files that tend to fail. Sadly I don't remember what it's called.

Can't get full webpages on XDA website on my PC..help!

Ok, so I use the xda app on my Nook Tablet, but when going to the website via google browser on my windows xp computer, the webpages are not downloading completely....I get the top Navigation Bar and whatever pop up ad is running but no info below! What's up with this? I need to get in via my PC to download some ROMs and apps.
Is this because I'm running xp instead of windows 7?
I can get the full pages on my browser on the Nook Tablet (rooted) but can't afford enough dropbox storage to get all the ROMs and other files I need uploaded and downloaded to my PC. Anyway, this just seems odd.
This is probably something technically stupid, but, please help if you can!
Thanks..

It may seem simple, but have you tried using a different browser on your PC?
I'm a product of the system I was born to destroy!
Can't get full xda website using XP/Explorer 8 huh?
Oh yes, been there done that! Oddly, on my mom's computer running windows 7 I had no problems.....but it seems hard to believe having xp would limit me that way. I used to be able to get in and see just fine until the last month or so. Checked Norton for any blocks/limitations but none I could see!
Totally perplexed. I am running out of hard drive space but can't see why that would make this happen, unless RAM somehow dips in when needed? But no problems on any other sites!
I am using Explore 8 as primary browser as 9 won't load on xp.....perhaps this is it?
Thanks for your reply. Any other ideas? Any devs or admins out there who can answer?

Browsers keep crashing.

Hi all,
I hope you're all doing well. I can use some help if anyone is willing to lend a hand. Just recently my phone has started to act up but I only have proof of one of the issues. So I can open any browser but it'll just crash shortly after opening a page. It happens on any browser stock or (dolphin, boat, naked) I only have logcats of boat and stock though.
To the best of my knowledge the only thing I had done was update boat like 2 updates ago. I've done nothing else besides that and my ui change, but I have no other apps spontaneously crashing. Hell even other apps with built-in browsers work no problem.
I've attached two logcats of first starting the app to where it crashes and a screenshot of my rom and ui settings. If there is more information needed let me know.
Thank you in advance.

Do you get the same thing with Chrome? Also try turning off JavaScript, or force desktop mode, or incognito mode. All of those have been suggested as a workaround in the nexus 7 forums.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
Hi rpr69,
So Chrome doesn't crash. That's pretty sweet but yet I find Chrome to be a lot slower than stock or anything else... Might have to hit up the 7 forums to see if there is something that I might have missed.
Just wondering though would you know if Flash might be a common element in these crashes?
~PsyCl0ne
EDIT: Actually quite bizarre my browsers aren't crashing anymore... No phone reboot or anything.
the exact same thing was happening to me. I hardly even open the browser and the one time I tried, it crashed almost immediately like 10 times in a row!
I'm on CM10 nightlies. I will have to update to 1204 tonight and test again. I'm blaming CM10 for now.... :crying:
