hey .. ok so i am old lol .. look i have an htc herald (p4350 ) i have tried many ROMS on it but they all crash :S .. and im going on holiday for 3 weeks and i wont take my pc with me .. i really need a stable wm6.5 rom .. and to be flashed USPL becouse i dont want to hard spl .. please help me ... and another thing .. i need a softwear to back up my sms from windows 6 to restore it on windows 6.5 ,,, thanks !!
There are tons of stable ROMs all over this board. You don't even need to search, just scan thread titles lol.

i think this site is awesome . i have 2 pocket pcs first one is O2 XDA mini s (HTC WIZARD) & the other one is O2 XDA Zinc (ASUS MARS II). yesterday i had sucessfully flashed NBD 8.3 Rom on my O2 XDA mini s . It works like a charm ...... i was just wondering ... could i get same kinda interface on my Zinc too may be in .cab file . i m running wm6 on Zinc . when i flashed NBD rom there was nothing special abt it .. but when i installed the extended rom my eyes popped out it was so damn awesome ( KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK NBD) ...... so can i get the same extended rom version on my ZInc too or may be a .cab file for touch flo & i have tried those plug inns , dialer pads , home plug inn , audio manager pug inn.... i m carzy abt touch navigation ( BLACK CUBE)

one more thing guys can i extract extended rom from NBD NK.NBF file & install it on my xda zinc ..

Unfortunately, the TouchFlo files have to be built into the ROM, so a cab file with the relevant files is unfortunately unavailable at this time.
thanxxx for ur reply......so that means i have to get a new custom made rom for O2 xda zinc ....... any ideas where could i get one of them .....

sorry pal i dont really know how to unlock extended rom as my zinc is just 2 months old .. so i m not taking any chances or i might just brick it .

i think the lack of replies should answer your question. doesn't seem like there's a kitchen for it. not familiar with flashing techniques for that phone but if there is a method of flashing you can edit the image used to flash with an existing kitchen if the formats are the same. I guess people only like dealing with HTC devices on this site even though its called xda (as in ppc lineup of o2)

Me too... just bought an O2 zinc .. and also look for how to make custom rom
if you install the separate applicatoin 'Touch Commander' you'll get the same functionallity as the TouchFlo CUBE Biotouch
if you install the new SPB PocketPlus 4, you will get the nice scrolling features of TouchFlo (scrolling/panning in any application where you see a scrollbar).
so, put those two applications together and you don't need the touchflo anymore...

please help me with my wizard
i got wizard 8125 from my friend. at the same time i had samsung blackjack2. i found this site that helped me to flash the BJ2 from WM5 to WM6, without any problems. but now im trying to take care of Wizard, and the whole process of flashing crashes,and i get screen with 3 colors(RGB) and my Windows Vista gives me a report that updating software has stopped working. can any one help me???? please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

use xp its way better and few glitches
find the rom
make sure if you have a G3 or G4 wizard
G3 IPL / SPL are 2.xx format (eg.. 2.26 2.21 3.08)
G4 IPL / SPL are 2.xx.xxx format
to flash a rom you must be unlocked read about the methods
for each wizard the G3 and G4
and happy flashing

ram size:64mb
flash size:128mb
which is the best rom to flash?
2.does it support wm6.5?
3.is it comes under G3 or G4?

Offcourse , it can be upgraded to wm 6.5 ( my opinion , don t is not so perfect wm 6.5 so search for a good one 6.1 ( a good exemple is that one i have)
For g3 or g4 well search a lil in this forum and u will find it . And first to not have problems is best to make a hard spl , for not having problems with rom upgrade.
i think you should try the " varanusvincent " ROM , i'm a newbie and just like you
about the g3/g4, did you see the ' SPL ' code when you turn on your prophet ?
if u want to upgrade ..
FIRST --> HARD SPL (find it in this forum)
SECOND --> Update your radio ROM ( i suggest u use 2.69 .... )
THIRD --> Update your IPL to 2.20
last --> Flash your Prophet ..

1st am sry for beeing of the topick but i need an advice , i have been a user for pocekt pc for a l;ong time and a memper in xda developers for also a long time and i have been using roms from here for a long time and i became well known with almost evry thing exsept one thing howa 2 make my owne rome so is there is some how a site or somthing or some one who kan teach me how to cook my owne rom plzzzzzzzz if there is a site or some body ar a tool or some thing plzzzzzzzz tell me

First read the How-to cook ROM for HTC Wizard! thread by XDA2_Haseeb, and then go to [ CRBuilder™ 2 ] [ FOR A COMPLETE AND SMARTER COOK ] by CRACING and also don't forget to read the Wizard's Wiki Part.
To get the most recent updates on WM6.5 resources you can use WM6.5 Latest Releases thread by Da_G.
And if you need stable ready ROM for your wizard, just look at provided ROMs by chefs in Wizard Mobile 6 part.

Hi guys, i'm new in this forum.. i need your help guys.. I'm new also in Windows mobile OS.. Please help me guys in updating my ROM into good one or latest.. because i dont want my ROM.. i just checked my ROM is Basics 211 when i start up my phone. this HTC diamond my mom just gave it to me so, i dont know whats happening.. i used iPhone in the past few months.. tell me what is the required tools in order to update my ROM guys.. i hate the present ROM basics 211 because it has a lot of bugs in my observation.. like music player it stops @ 1 minute.. and unlike what i saw in youtube.. other great ROM in htc diamond i fast.. unlike mine.. i don't like it.. Help me guys..
