i have a few questions to ask....
1.i have a jamin with model no.PM300
ram size:64mb
flash size:128mb
which is the best rom to flash?
2.does it support wm6.5?
3.is it comes under G3 or G4?

Offcourse , it can be upgraded to wm 6.5 ( my opinion , don t is not so perfect wm 6.5 so search for a good one 6.1 ( a good exemple is that one i have)
For g3 or g4 well search a lil in this forum and u will find it . And first to not have problems is best to make a hard spl , for not having problems with rom upgrade.
i think you should try the " varanusvincent " ROM , i'm a newbie and just like you
about the g3/g4, did you see the ' SPL ' code when you turn on your prophet ?
if u want to upgrade ..
FIRST --> HARD SPL (find it in this forum)
SECOND --> Update your radio ROM ( i suggest u use 2.69 .... )
THIRD --> Update your IPL to 2.20
last --> Flash your Prophet ..

Hy ewerybody, please hlep me!
I tried more of roms, and i want to goes back to my old O2 XDA NEO german rom (Version 215447 2154140 021921) but i cant update, it write that the nf file is to old, i tried noid rom (RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe) to, but it stops at 95% with error, please help me to solve my big problem, i have to brings back my prophet to the service but so i cant do...

At the moument i have:
O2 XDA Neo G4
IPL: 2.15.0001
SPL: 2.20.0001
GSM: 2.19.21
OS Pdawiet 4.0.0.0.5a
the proplem at 95% cause of the SPL, as the Radio version did't update from 2.19 to 2.47, it is before the SPL, it is from the Radio or something before, may be the extension.
let me guss, try the step 1 of WM6, only os.nb and extension and tell me what will you get, after that try the NVID 2.20 it is the best ROM ever I tested
but it is stange that you have the same old os

U want to downgragde from Wm06 to Wm05, i think u only up (prophet pv temp) --> it's blank Rom so afterthat u can Upgragde another WM06 ROm again !

A piece of advice when posting and especially as you are wanting to flash your device...... You need to read a whole heap first and understand what you are doing..... if you do not you will end up bricking ur device and end up a shiny paperweight....
Suggest you read the wiki page and as pilot says the relevant section on xda, and please dont flash if u dont understand the process because we will only see you in here asking for more help on how to unbrick yes?

If you arent prepared to read then you shouldnt flash ..
ps before my first flash i read for hours and days, making sure i understood what was happening, why it was and what to do if it went wrong. My first flash on my prophet didnt go right, but i knew after reading more why and how to correct it.

as long as your confidant to do so. what i would aslo recomend to do is also download an official rom or a 6.1 rom so if you dont like the 6.5 then u can go to a stable rom

THe universal is an old device and hence you wont get official 6.5 rom or even a 6.1 come to that lol. If you read the wiki page above like a said before you will find a link to all official roms
so 6.1 or 6.5 will not come to my device
it means i have to use this 5.0 version only ?
lol HTC wont bring out an official 6.1 or 6.5 rom for that device, its too old and they want people to buy new devices, hence why XDA is great!!!
You only need the official 5.0 if something goes wrong, my mate had the same device and used a m2d rom which was very nice, so flash away!!

soz im prob not making myself clear,
Download and keep safe an offical 5.0 rom, dont use it unless flashing to cooked 6.1 goes wrong.
There are many good 6.1 roms in the forum, so go ahead and try some when you understand what you are doing
so i dont want to try it if it is not clear that 6.1 is supported ot not
i will only do if u r 100% sure that it is supported
take a look in the universal section, you'll find many 6.1 roms there my friend

You have one of the best HTC devices ever build!!
I can recommend you Tomal wm 6.1 8.5 or 8.1 ROM´s
Actually wm6.5 ROM´s are in beta and are not so stable, and if its your first time flashing go for 6.1

go to Prophet Mobile 6 Section of this Forum there are lots of RECENT good WM 6.1 and 6.5 ROMS there
ya i go through that but my jamin does not support those roms
after upgrading jamin goes for 3 color screen and nothing else
can u provide a link to the rom which jamin supports

maybe you should read the wiki for more info... theres something as CID locked devices but the fix is only available for G3 devices maybe there is now for G4 devices you can check this on wiki..
and further study first naking sure you understand everything before trying on your device...

hey .. ok so i am old lol .. look i have an htc herald (p4350 ) i have tried many ROMS on it but they all crash :S .. and im going on holiday for 3 weeks and i wont take my pc with me .. i really need a stable wm6.5 rom .. and to be flashed USPL becouse i dont want to hard spl .. please help me ... and another thing .. i need a softwear to back up my sms from windows 6 to restore it on windows 6.5 ,,, thanks !!
There are tons of stable ROMs all over this board. You don't even need to search, just scan thread titles lol.

Have a look here for the Kaiser forum. It's not listed on the front page anymore, but you can find it under Legacy Devices. There are numerous 6.5 ROMs there, all with instructions. If you run into trouble and can't find an answer, let me know. The Kaiser is a terrific handset.
