Anyone know of a low battery warning app? You know, an app to sound an alarm if the battery reaches below a certain level?

Current Widget works. Certainly you can log current usage with it.

It's pretty damn simple. It's a widget, download from Market. You set it up, you can select an option to let it save current usage to a log file. End of.
Thx

You might want to try "Battery Monitor Widget" as well.

This is one of the widgets that I tried that for some reason does not show Ma usage. It was working fine when I was running android on my HD2.

Current widget does not work on my Sensation - it just shows 0ma when the battery is draining (it does show a value when the battery is charging however).
On a similar note, has anyone found a way to see which apps are causing partial wake usage? Spare parts says there is no battery activity stats for this ROM when I try to view battery history.

Yeah, I have just discovered that too sadly
my sensation has same problem
it can't show battery current mA usage
try juice plotter,
it shows your consumption with a nice graphic.
Battery indicator pro works great on sensation
Current widget works on my sensation.
Both percentage and mA can be shown.
First impression is a larger consumption than on my HD2 with mdj android

Tried CurrentWidget on my sensation and still no mA reading... can you confirm that you have value on the widget?
Even the market reports that this dosn't work on the sensation...
Cheers
I was a bit to quick with my replay....the sensation was charging through usb when I installed the Current Widget....after removing from usb I have the same problem....
In logging I have 0 mA and correct battery %
Sorry for the confusion!

I think that measuring mA usage is one thing that the Sensation cannot do no matter which widget/app you use.... this is a bit of a shame because mA usage to me is a good way of monitoring battery usage.
Hey ho...perhaps someone will produce an app that will work.
A
it works..
take Elixir... perfect widget for all type of handling or monitoring

Battery indicator from the market works just fine on the sensation. It places an icon in the notification bar that gives you a numeric percentage of battery consumption and has a pop up box that will provide additional information about battery usage.

I am using elixir widget on my sensation, and it show you battery usage ...
There is now an update for battery monitor widget and I can confirm that mA now displays properly on the sensation.

NoLED! it's new to me and hopefully to you too. It offers a low power, user friendly and extremely helpful way of knowing which notification has been received.

That wouldn't surprise me. It's going to wakelock the device and prevent deepsleep.
(Although the question is - does BLN do that too? Or does the backlight controller support autonomous blink without CPU intervention like the LEDs on the HTC Rhodium?)

actually, i think this is the first official thread on Noled. but the app was discussed pretty heavily in one of the kernel threads.. defused i believe?

Sorry for this stupid question but can somebody tell me what's Undervolting and what's it's benefits ??

It's the opposite of overvlocking..
it's used to have more battery life..

Isn't "Underclocking" the opposite of Overclocking ?!
I was asking about "Undervolting"...
Same clock speed less voltage so same power while using less juice
Most of the devs will think of everyone so the voltages are quite high but some people only need half that for a certain clock speed some need the full amount so the ones who dont need all that juice can undervolt on almost every frequancy and get mean battery savings!!!!

The "nicer" an app is set as the lower the priority the app is when competing for CPU time.
So I have had this for about two days well the first day it got really hot around the camera an topper screen portion so hot holding just was a no an it was just doing normal task no apps installed just browsing so I factory reset it an that helped but not completely
So I then rooted to see if I could change kernel settings well it looks like my cores are almost always running at max speed so I downloaded kernel auditor to change setting an that still always want to go to maximum clock speed so I so I lowered it an it was still just at maximum 90% of the time So I disabled some cores bringing cpu temp down to around 94/96 degrees Fahrenheit is this normal or is it just me
Sorry for scrub questions I only had a s4 before this which was much less complicated
Thanks in advance sorry if I was confusing
Maybe there are some app running in background..try checking the usage manager, ..using bloatware tool also helping it to cool down
tryed it

Tried safe mode an deleted a lot of bloat an it's just almost always like this except when screen off
Can you post screen shot of kernel auditor's frequency table? both of them..bigLittle
For me it was a circle case widget which was causing it to heat up. I used CPU monitor and found it. Closed that and it is fine since.

So I was looking an it won't let me list the screen shot but the little cores seem to push pass the limit just by touching the screen it will raise the maximum an minimum to 1248 then when I'm not settings go to normal
so that happened

Okit wouldn't let me add the picture so here's a link Screenshot_2015-08-14-10-32-17.png - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1amLS5fOK4ONUdVbk1UZEhRbDg/view?usp=docslist_api
I also have problems as above and unresolved
I've been playing with kernel settings for a week now
so far i've noticed something regarding battery life (SOT) and its temperature
If i set big cpu to ondemand and LITTLE to interactive(default) the battery life stays much longer but the phone feel hot..
then if i set big to interactive and LITTLE to ondemand, the phone itself doesn't heat much but the battery life became poor..
and if you noticed, big cpu seldoms reach more than 384mhz..that's most of the time it stays in lowest of it frequency table
Maybe we can experimenting it together and discuss about it here
