Hi first of all i know no one on here knows about me. My name is Chris and i take no credit for any development, as i dont know how to really develope.All this really is, is fresh rom 2.3.3 but stripped down and themed and with the exception of droid unlock screen with working alarm clock, and batscreen boot up logo. No credit goes to me but to everybody who gets this stuff actually working. Im sorry if you feel that this thread is useless but i just want to see if this rom gets a lot of people maybe not, but im working my way up and willing to learn so i hope you like it and let me know what you think. So basically this is a stripped down rom of fresh rom 2.3.3
took alot of apps that were taking up alot of memory. this means no friendstream no live wallpapers i do not know about overclocking i think it does but im not sure i really dont use it, also i dont know if it has a2sd. you should have 109 mb availible after flashing. remember i am not responsible for what you do to your phone. always do a nandroid back up. wipe everything before flash.

ok if you noticed in the browser, when loading a page, the progress bar looked all funny. So just flash this on your phone and should fix the browser when loading a page.

Well, it's failing at verificaiton. I tried a wipe, but it didn't fix it (didn't think it would...). I'll try re-downloading it to see if that might fix it.

im downloading both files from mediafire and im going to flash them and if that happens it was either a bad upload or a bad signiture but it worked for me but ill try which one are you trying to flash?

alright i downloaded and did a wipe and everything then flashed and everything went ok maybe it was a corrupt download and something happened but everything went fine with me tell me if this keeps on happening after you redownload.

i lost track and started over with these 3 might do a hero rom since its my favorite but would rather not.Sense-hero is the best hero out now.i was excited by the release of mw2!

i believe so but ive never used any cyan roms, i use nandroid to backup a hero rom before testing my beta roms.

Curious? Lol, I can read code. There is nothing in there from the new dump. Not to mention the random bits of code and files that barak was using to test, but have no purpose in the build for actual release.
I kinda feel a bit foolish for trying to buy you time in the other thread you started for this by saying you were taking on a big challenge. That wasn't an excuse to just re-release what was already done. It was meant to help people back off while you got your feet wet.

Re engineered link FIXED. new linky, should fix F/C, if you are not installing on a fresh install and have problems IDK what to do, I don't use this ROM, I only made it as it is EVO framework. So, do a clean install, load the rom once, then back to recovery and flash this, worked for me...

I'm not familiar with that ROM, but if it uses the EVO framework then it should work not a problem.

try installing it after loading the rom fresh i think that may be only the way, sorry man, im not sure why, but it works for me

Ha! Yeah I am with cellular south still. 99% of the custom roms for the hero are based on sprint stock though. Like Kyle said the eri.XML is where the carrier name is located. It can be changed to say whatever you like.

loving the theme! i have developed 1 problem since install. not sure if it's related to the theme or not. i cant make calls...i get error " the process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. please try again." anybody else run across this? any solution short of restoring nandroid? thx.

Yep I did too! Missed two calls because of it
i nandroided back to an earlier release, 02-06 i think....all is well now. will reflash 02-10 later probably. probably a dumb question, but once this theme is installed, is there a way to uninstall with out reflashing, restoring nandroid? i did try changing to another theme in theme chooser...it didnt fix the problem though.

I just tested the dialer and had no problems. Not sure why you 2 are... I use dialer 1 as default anyways but I did test the stock phone apk and it worked. Try reflashing the theme.

To get rid of a theme you just have to reflash the rom. No wipe needed.

After trying many many ROMs for my GT-N7100 I've always come back to using this one. Now it is time to share my "customizations" with the community.
Miata ROM gives me the longest battery life I have ever experienced on my Note 2 without loosing much functionality and still remains stable and useable. I almost always get 8+ hours of screen time and very little battery drain in stand-by.
FEATURES

Perseus alpha 33.4 kernel
Low RAM usage
Best battery life compared to almost every other ROM
Almost 100% stock
No NFC/WiFi Direct (I never use it so I stripped it out)
Probably some other things I can't really remember right now...
HOW TO INSTALL
Code:
1. Move .zip to sd card
2. Reboot into recovery
3. MAKE A BACKUP FIRST
4. Do a complete wipe/factory reset
5. Wipe system again to be sure
6. Flash .zip
7. Reboot and enjoy!
I would love to hear your feedback about this ROM and see if everyone else is getting improved battery life/screen time.
I would also recommend flashing my Franken-Beats audio mod to enhance the sound of your system.

Warning - I am not responsible for any damage done to your device. Since this is a 4.1.1 base it does run the risk of SDS. MAKE SURE you are using a SDS fixed recovery and kernel (preferably the one included)

This is the first time I made a ROM so I hope it flashes fine without any problems... Good luck!
I regret to say that I worked my installs but does not start just stays on the logo of Submission Galaxy note 2 and restarts

Download the new beta 0.1a and try it out. Let me know how it works for you.
