I didn't test much, it does feel really snappy but i restored back so i could continue my conversation i was having lol.

I'm not big on questions, but does this require same boot.IMG we used on the 104 release...I.e. if we flashed it prior are we good to go for ROM zip?

Hi first of all i know no one on here knows about me. My name is Chris and i take no credit for any development, as i dont know how to really develope.All this really is, is fresh rom 2.3.3 but stripped down and themed and with the exception of droid unlock screen with working alarm clock, and batscreen boot up logo. No credit goes to me but to everybody who gets this stuff actually working. So basically this is a stripped down rom of fresh rom 2.3.3
took alot of apps that were taking up alot of memory. this means no friendstream no live wallpapers i do not know about overclocking i think it does but im not sure i really dont use it, also i dont know if it has a2sd. you should have 109 mb availible after flashing. remember i am not responsible for what you do to your phone. always do a nandroid back up. wipe everything before flash.

Well, it's failing at verificaiton. I tried a wipe, but it didn't fix it (didn't think it would...). I'll try re-downloading it to see if that might fix it.

im downloading both files from mediafire and im going to flash them and if that happens it was either a bad upload or a bad signiture but it worked for me but ill try which one are you trying to flash?

alright i downloaded and did a wipe and everything then flashed and everything went ok maybe it was a corrupt download and something happened but everything went fine with me tell me if this keeps on happening after you redownload.

It's included,but on my hoxl with hboot 1.14 I had to flash it from fastboot.

no i should have followed your instructions on "how to update ruu ota safely" but now i'm stuck with this.even now i dont regret installing this rom as this gives me the best battery life ever seen,no connection drops,multitasking has been greatly improved but still i am a lover of custom roms and i like ur rom a lot.hmm waiting for someone to get a root for this rom

i have unlocked bootloader, unlocked sim , rooted and touch recovery..
i should just download the file , keep it in the root folder and flash through recovery ?

For your first custom ROM, I'd pick something a bit more modified than this. This is just a stock ROM.
Pick another such as a Team Nocturnal one, CleanROM, King Cobra etc. They have the extended quick settings, advanced power menu etc....mods that improve user experience ten fold.

Being stuck on 2.20 with no root is really starting to suck! This would be a great base. I assume one would need to keep the 2.20 (1.85) build prop to keep all the ATT stuff since this is German. I'm getting desperate for root like a crack head licking the floor for crumbs lmao.

Could be bad file. Delete the facebook_client apk from the /system/app directory and then install it from the market. I remember having this problem on my ROMS and that is what I had to do. It doesnt de-odex right.

Turge had to produce a 1.4.1 patch for his ROM to fix some FCs and also a Social-Network-Friendstream patch - so a few little gotchas with the ROM I guess. You could probably look at his patches to get a sense of the fixes.
I can't connect to the 4G att network here, don't have wi-fi to try out. Back to CR 4.5 again!

Quick questions - I just flashed the updated VRBMF1 modem but still have the VRBMD3 build from the last OTA so Verizon is gonna keep nagging me to get the update until I flash the VRBMF1 bootchain or go with something like this correct?
To do this I would need to go in and wipe everything and start fresh correct???
What advantages besides a fresh install does this have over just flashing the bootchain?

I did the same thing, and got the same message, and yes Verizon will keep nagging you for the update. You will need to do a fresh install of the new ROM, soon coming from Beans. You can do a backup of the Stock VRBMB1 ROM, that what I did using TWRP, just in case the new build has issues, you can just go back to the last stock ROM. Yes a fresh install would be recommended, wipe data, casch, devlick casch, system, then flash new ROM, you can use Titanium backup to backup your apps with their data.

After trying many many ROMs for my GT-N7100 I've always come back to using this one. Now it is time to share my "customizations" with the community.
Miata ROM gives me the longest battery life I have ever experienced on my Note 2 without loosing much functionality and still remains stable and useable. I almost always get 8+ hours of screen time and very little battery drain in stand-by.

5. Wipe system again to be sure
