i lost track and started over with these 3 might do a hero rom since its my favorite but would rather not.Sense-hero is the best hero out now.i was excited by the release of mw2!

i believe so but ive never used any cyan roms, i use nandroid to backup a hero rom before testing my beta roms.

Curious? Lol, I can read code. There is nothing in there from the new dump. Not to mention the random bits of code and files that barak was using to test, but have no purpose in the build for actual release.
I kinda feel a bit foolish for trying to buy you time in the other thread you started for this by saying you were taking on a big challenge. That wasn't an excuse to just re-release what was already done. It was meant to help people back off while you got your feet wet.

when i tried it went past the firts two boot screens ie orinally rogers screen (modded my own image) then the htc magic boot screen and thats its blank scren....
PS: BEEN UP ALL NIGHT WAITIN TO TRY THIS....

like in the hero rom its says hero with the lil robot (or say in the ion rom when it says android and keeps flasing) before the homescreen that never shows up just blank screen....

as Killadude said it gets past the second boot and it's black screen... the dmesg file shows me the following 2 lines http://pastebin.ca/1507664 being repeated so on and on... oh and these few lines before that happens http://pastebin.ca/1507706 so i thought maybe this bootanimation thing is probably the problem, i just tried removing its code for starting it as a service in the init.rc file but same thing no help.

Someone has found the code for donut somewhere, or at least the beta code for it and now it's being pulled apart here.

Can you ever really make"make" a hero rom? The best you can do is from dumps so I'm sure he didn't "make" it per say, but I'm sure he came as close as he could

You see I like the changes in 2.1 sense but I'm fine with using a older version of andoid it doesn't bother me at all. None of the feats like LWP's and blah blah blah matter to me, as long as I can use gameboid, task killer, and any other apps i use.

Yeah, I installed 302BFS From HERE... working fine now
for fuzzys you have to install the DEPORT1.0 but thats only for MT3G/Magic users if i remember... so we dont have htc's facebook on this rom?? damn thats what i love the most about sense roms...

Hi, I've made a 2.1 rom based on the unodexed apk's thanks to wesgarner and ivanmj as well as wesgarner's kernel and vega's battery fix to get rid of constant errors in logcat.
Mods please consider that this rom is fairly heavily based on a build RELEASED BY IVANMJ... I can confirm there is no warez in the rom.
Firerat, please test. I think some users may have a problem due to your a2sd script. It hangs on my g1 in middle of boot when utilizing it (logcat says surfaceflinger and many other services died, zygote exit).

Normal features working, except for data. Phone calls work tho, and wifi. Working on a fix.

His is de-odexed, his uses Wes' kernel, and I'm sure he included his own fix. So what makes YOURS better? (Note: Trying not to be a douche, just want to start a conversation while I download from the slow 4shared )

got it man. well first of all, vega's is based on the slower legend, unless we're talking about different roms...
But this runs dexopt on boot and has optipng-ed frameworks I didn't do it though.

So what are we saying here? not able to flash if you are on 2.51, but if you are on 2.21 or 2.34 you can - makes sense as that was one of the issues with 2.51, but it was resolved.
I'm not going to be getting flash happy with this one anyway, people should lear the lesson from 2.51, best to wait a few days and see how it pan out. I do want to get the sbf though so I can take a look at it.
I am downloading it now ... and yes it's froyo! Will mirror once it's done.

Thats the info we need, its times like this you need a 2nd phone for dev stuff, coz I'm not flashing the sbf on my only phone for sure.
I agree, don't suggest flashing this until its been looked at. Be patient, I can assure you it won't be offering that much more that 2.1 with JIT is already in the interim.

another thing cool about this rom is....the dialer is capable of "smart dialing" (i.e. it searches the best contact match on the fly when u dial..)

Yes, it is 2.2.1 but HTC planned to update it to Gingerbread *soon*.

Thanks man, i was almost there last night, i was on the lockscreen, but when unlocked, white htc screen the night was to short, had to go to sleep... 6.30am hehehe.
Will see if i find some time to make it work.

Sneak peak uber-mega-alpha don't know what works and what will make the device detonate (well wifi and network location work..). I'm shamelessly using your latest rom as a base for folder structure, scripts and stuff
edit: Before someone asks, no, for now the camera doesn't work

I personally think it's better to port this dump right now, than Huashan one

That chinese device dump is very strange, it hasn't even Rosie etc...

I'm trying to get the camera working for the Inc S dump (for Droid Incredible), and have tried all the fixes I remember...But still getting a black screen. I know I'm missing something...
Here's where I'm at:
1. Replaced libs with known working versions
2. Decompile HTCCamera.apk, edit DisplayDevice.smali (for 720p)
3. Replace hw with known working versions
Any suggestions?
