Hi all.
I have been collecting wallpapers since December 2009, and with the help of HDWall, I have made these high quality wallpapers obtained from all over the internet into cab files, WITH thumbnails! Using HDwalls works a treat, as all the background cabs will be previewed through the thumbnails created.
This has been alot of work in terms of time taken for processing. Some cabs would take 5minutes to process or so through Hdwall. I hope you all like!
Im open to any advice, as this is my first proper new thread.
I have created a preview of all the wallpapers included in the zip. There are currently 330 wallpaper thumbnails and their respective cabs. I take no credit for the images themselves, as none were taken by me.
There is no skinning of the taskbar or softkeys (Sorry)
The settings used in HDwall were:
HTC Sense v2.5 - All Tabs - No Compression & Co0kieMonster's Patch.
Manila 2.5+
HTC Sense Patch
HTC Sense
Portait Bottom Offset (Alignment fix) -2
Potrait only
Also, all wallpaper cabs and thumbnails are named Wallpaperxxx.cab and Wallpaperxxx-p.jpg, where xxx is a number from 1 to 330. You will not be overwriting any of the cabs/wallpapers when your copying them to your storage card.
Warning: If you are using HDwalls to view the cabs/thumbnails, do not place the entire sense backgrounds folder as the main directory for Hdwalls, as this crashes the program due to the large amount of thumbnails. So please seperate the wallpaper folder into 3 seperate folders as there are over 300 thumbnails/cabs. You can then set hdwalls default directory to any one of the folders you have created, and swap back and fourth depending on the wallpaper you want to set.

Unfortunately the original images I have aren't just resized, but also cropped. Going through and cropping 330 images will take me forever, so I won't be doing that.

A: Theres an application called HDwalls. Once you install this on your handset, it lets you view all the wallpapers as thumbnails, so your can browse through each wallpaper. When you find one you like, you select it, click install, and it installs it. You then restart sense, and you have your wallpaper. If you then would like to change the wallpaper you do the exact same thing. You DO NOT manually have to uninstall the wallpaper cab. And multiple wallpaper cabs WILL NOT show up in your program remove list in settings. So essentially you have one wallpaper installed at any one time, not 300.
The preview image is 4.5megs.
The rar file for the HDwall Cabs is 52megs zipped
The rar file for the original backgrounds is 142megs zipped
Please no mirrors.

Every cab is entilted mywallpaper followed by a number. Eg MyWallpaper90, MyWallpaper91 etc..
Same as the thumbnails.

You may use IrfanView to batch convert/resize the images. Its freeware..

Its hard for user to install over 300 cab..
I guess what you need is an utility to extract the original image files from cab (not sure has such thing?), then batch resize with IrfanView.

I just have another question, if I choose a wallpaper for my lockscreen there is no problem, if I set a new wallpaper for my sense homebackground, where the clock appears, its kinda "zoomed" and it doesnt look as good as it does without zooming!
How can I solve the problem?

Depending on what rom you are on, you could use HDwalls to produce high quality, full screen wallpaper cabs.

Although it is not currently compatible with 2.5.1922 roms.

No, you can set it through HTC Sense, on the settings tab, personalize wallpaper . It just makes a fullscreen higher quality image with HDwalls, and sets it as a png for the system to use on all tabs, if you want, with no top and bottom bars, if wanted also.

Unfortunately you would need one tweak or another, to get a better image then the default settings will give you.

You can use Max TF3D instead, so you don't have to cab your walpapers. Just enable standard deployment once and change wallpapers as usual through settings tab.

True, as that is what I am currently doing, is using MaxTTM with BG4all. It makes a nice fullscreen wallpaper on all tabs,as well.
Hi all,i have download the wallpaper pack.Nevertheless,i do not know how to proceed from here,is there any guide for this,thks in advance for the help.
Set the wallpaper you want as usual.
>Launch MaxTTM.
>Make sure to set Component to > "Both"
>Change Method to > "Wallpaper"
>The next section remains unselectable!
>Check all 3 boxes below.
>Tap "Convert"!
>Wait for reset.
Done!
Make all settings like this!
Now next time you change your wallpaper, MaxTTM, will throw an error.
Just select QUIT and the launch MaxTTM and tap "Convert" again and wait for reset!
You may notice the bars will look misaligned until the device is fully loaded! This is not how it stays! Don't worry!
Hope this was helpful and enjoy full screen wallpaper on all tabs, with this and BG4all!

Why?
I got tired of seeing my HD wallpapers blurred by manila, so I hit maranell0's HDWall.
There are various other threads containing HDWall cabs with some trully unique and wonderful contributions.
The thing that motivated me most to make my own cabs was that I found each poster has their own preferences; transparent taskbars, transparent softkeys, tweaked sliders etc.
For me, I wanted simply the HD wallpaper. I have customised softkeys and taskbars and I didn't want to mess with them.

Testing
The attached HDWall cabs have been tested on a HD2 (T8585) with:
- Stock WWE ROM 1.66
- Manila v2.5.1921
- Co0kies HT 1.7.1
- [Manila Patch] High Quality Wallpaper for Home Tab & Manila Start Menu by Co0kieMonster
- BG4all

How?
There are two options for installing these cabs:
Option A - direct
Simply choose the cab you prefer and save it to your device.
Using your prefered file explorer, browse to the cab and click.
Option B - via HDWalls
Transfer the cab AND the associated '*-P.jpg' file to your nominated directory on your device where you store HDWall cabs.
Open HDWallS
Browse to the thumbnails until you find the new image.
Click and install.

Notes
Uninstall before installing
Before installing one of my cabs, be sure to uninstall any previous HDWall cab you may have installed.
BG4all
Co0kie recommends that you avoid using BG4all and HDWall together.
I have BG4all running smoothly with these cabs and have experienced no problems. The HD image is displayed on all tabs.
Please be conscious of this if you experience problems.
Images for lockscreen
Attached is a zip file of all original images should you wish to manually change your lockscreen pic to match your wallpaper.
Uninstalling
These cabs are all uninstallable.

Go to. Settings-->Applications-->Search Hdwallpaper or what you named it and Uninstall.

I edited your cab to my needs and combined with dinik's icons, Marcdu81 HD2 connections cab, a little tool from lyriquidperfection's Touch Tools for HTC cab and renaming of actionscreen.exe to endkey.exe, i came up with a nice endkey replacement cab.
I'd like to ask you if you know a way when changing the orientation to landscape to also change the action screen in landscape.

GTX Metro Style
This is my version based on GTX Sense and the Dark Square Metro Icons Set.
I got everything working but I was wondering if someone could help me make a cab that does all the steps, in case I flash a new rom. Also would be easier to share that way.

Here are the 2 BT73's files they are both inside the attached zip
Here are the details:
1. I deleted everything i didn't need from the original cab like *.brn files which are the icons that show up when you press a button, and all executables except from HTCActionscreen.exe and PowerOff_Warning.exe which i renamed them to EndKey.exe and Shutdown.exe.(leaving the dll's)
2. I edited AS_Bkgd_1.png from BT73's brnconvert.rar to the picture i uploaded in my previous post using Dinik's icons and then converted it to bmp and then to brn.
3. I extracted Marcdu81 HD2 connections cab that has some very useful executables and injected them in my cab in folder Actionscreen under windows.
4. I also extracted a little tool called Snatch Screen.exe from lyriquidperfection's Touch Tools for HTC cab which i also injected in folder Actionscreen under windows.
5. I edited the registry to change the shortcuts of each button to match the executables shown in the picture as buttons.
6. Saved the new cab and installed it.
In short this was the procedure if i forgot something or you have any question feel free to ask

Hi Guys,
because of many PMs of how to mod the SimClock Widget even more than through the Menu, I opened this Thread to tell you how to change stuff, the name and the dimensions of the images and some other stuff.
Also I would very much like to see the costumizations you come up with
OK. We tried to make the SimClock as easy to costumize as possible. So we didnt work that much with manila files, but rather png image files:
There are now 47 files that can be edited.
I now will make a list with the name of the files and what they are used for. I have also included all the standard Icons in a .rar file at the end of this post.
Toggle Switches:
SimClock_BT_Off
SimClock_BT_On
SimClock_Data_Off
SimClock_Data_On
SimClock_FlightMode_Off
SimClock_FlightMode_On
SimClock_Phone_Off
SimClock_Phone_On
SimClock_Wifi_Off
SimClock_Wifi_On
SimClock_Flashlight
SimClock_Silent
SimClock_Vibrate
SimClock_Normal
There are always 2 pictures for each toggle switch. Everyone with the dimensions of 128x128 pixels and a png file. One will be displayed when the Switch state is off and the other one will be displayed when the switch is on. Using 2 images for each switch you can easily apply stunning effects. The last three Switches are for the phones profile. One of them will be displayed depending on your current profile
The Quick Link Icons:

These are the Icon names for the 6 Quicklink Panel Icons. Everyone with the dimensions of 128x128 pixels and a png file.
The small Icons:

Those are the small Icons for the settings menu, then the small Alarm Icon beeing displayed, when you have an Alarm set, the text Battery Icon and the charging Icon for the text Battery. Everyone with the dimensions of 64x64 pixels and a png file.
Now the Circle Battery Icons:

These are the files you can edit to change the Circle Battery integrated within the SimClock. Everyone with the dimensions of 128x128 pixels and a png file.
Now the last thing you can edit are the Panels. We are currently working on a little improvement concerning the Panels so this will be updated in a few hours
What I state out now will not be right for the v2 SimClock. Plz be patient for the next few hours and I will update this part
Ok thats for the image files. I have uploaded the original PSDs for the SimClock v2 so if you are using Photoshop or a similar program that can open PSDs, then you can directly overwork our files
If you have the images ready, just copy them into your windows directory and you are done
It would be nice, if you could post Cabs so that everyone can easily enjoy your costumizations

Beautiful mod. The dreamteam sets the bar higher each time.
Can you post the modded image files separately also and not just as a cab.

Just use cab2oem and you can easily take the cab apart by dragging it on top of cab2oem.exe. A directory with the same name as the cab will be created and all contents will be in that directory (along with 3 or 4 extra files for cooking that you won't need).
edit - guess I was too slow zipping it up , but at least now you'll know how to do it in the future.

Yes completely right I am currently on it. The Taskbar will have a tiny little bug, which I am still working on, but which doesnt really show and does not irritate that much

is the anastasia style that ur showing on the picture the same as the files...cause i am using it now...and have different icons...?...i think someone else had a anastasia style...because i have different files then you have ...?...i forget who i got mine from...?...but its different then urs...thatd weird... ...anyway they are both good...and simclock is great...

Changes:
- PNG files are now also supported (order of files loaded are jpg, then jpeg, then png)

By pressing on the picture you get access to the pop-up menu, where make quick changes and access to setting menu. Store the frames and the pictures where-ever you wish, device or SD. By default frames are searched in \SD\CHTtweaks\frames

EDIT: INITIAL RELEASE Ok i managed to get something, but still need some better code. Up to now CHTwPictureFrame can show 1 or 2 pictures, in png & jpg format, easily selectable by a simple file explorer; manually set width & height; chose frame in .png format; enable switch pictures and set switching time; CHTwPictureFrame is resizable and pinneable, and can be displayed in CHT Lockscreen.
UPDATE 12JUN: I have added 5 pictures to display to v1.00 so thats enough for me. In case somebody wants other features I also upload the kitchen. Feel free to edit, modify, sell, mirror, use, delete, or whatever want to do with the files, but always have fun!
As usual needs JMLMenuSense 1.60 (or higher) for the setting menu, otherwise you can do all the settings directly in the registry HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\CHT.PictureFrame.XXX
Compatible with CHTS2.25: please use this fix
I will try to add the option to show a few more pictures or even a full folder, and some other features, but really need some help with the Lua code because my knowledge is very limited. This widget is free and use is not compulsory, i have tested in my HD2 and works but it does not mean it will work in yours. Anyway if you are having any trouble and post it here i will try to help you as much as possible.

About the search widget. It is done by me, for my personal use.
But it needs more and more performance with all things. So i have

strange things with CHT nowdays, but there is always a chance .... who knows the future?
BTW can you read a word in the picture frame widget? yes CHTwNotes is the base for this new widget. Just will add a frame (skinable of course) and the option to easily change the picture from \SD\DCIM\100MEDIA. I have tested .jpg files and they works all right as .png does ....
