[Q] How can I downgrade iPod touch from iOS 4?

First off,I am sincerely sorry for asking about some of Apple's iCrap things here,but I won't fall as much as to visit one of their forums!
So,to the situation.I have an iPod touch 2G(I think) and updated the iOS to version 4.Now that thing is freaking SLOW!It's jerky,it's slower than it was and some games don't play as smooth as they did.I thought it'd have multitasking but not even that!So I want to downgrade to version 3.x..At least before it had some basic functionality and it was smooth!Now it's ****tier than every Apple product out there!

You can easily downgrade but you have to download the 3.1.3 firmware and then run something to keep the restore from erroring out. Or you'll have to use iboot.

Support appreciated dude!But c'mon,they are stupid enough to sabotage their own products with their new software!Has anyone seen iOS 4 running on an iPod touch?It makes me miss my old Sony Ericsson w810i!At least it could play music without lagging!

Android games vs apple

K just read about the Unreal engine being used on some games for iPuke. I love android and all but I am freaking sick of the excuses. I have been on android since september of 08 with the g1 and I just don't get it. I'm telling you now google, unless you get moving on this I am going to have to move to the dark side for a much richer multimedia experience
I've waited too long as it is! I keep telling my son (who has friends with iPhones) to just wait, developers will come to android.....boo!

The gaming advocate recently left google which won't be helping.
I'd be happy with an official version of Scrabble.

Relax. There has been some serious talk of a PSP Phone which can only mean that there is going to be some serious games running on android.

Are there any good 4X space games for Android?

I wonder if anyone has found any good 4X space games for Android? It seems to me that such a type of games would be very suited for a touch screen device.
Just picked up Master of Orion 1 and 2 and Good Old Games earlier and they are so much fun. If anyone ever ported Master of Orion 1 to Android I would celebrate for days heh.

I too would love to find something along the lines of MOO or something similar for android, I have played those sort of games to death on my pc and really miss them since nothing like them, half decent, has been released for ages. Does anyone know of any developments like this for good 'ol droid?

Nexus S, Omnia 7 or HD7 ?

I was thinking of buying a new phone. At first, I was between Nexus S and Desire. I thought I'd go with Nexus S, but then I remembered that Windows Phone 7 also existed in this world.
So, which one I should pick? Nexus S and Omnia 7 both have a 4" AMOLED screen.
Opinions?
Edit: I want a good phone on which I can play good games and use good apps. I don't want it to lag. :x

Hmmm yeah, but from what I've seen android doesn't have quality apps or games... Like... 10 apps/games from the whole market are worthy downloading/paying for.
I believe the apps and games on WP7 are "quality" apps though. Well, that's what the videos say.

Without thinking I can already name over 20 of each games/apps that are worth downloading. Go look at the market at appbrain.com and see for yourself.

If you are willing to pay for games then I'd probably say that the games are better on WP7 and they are only getting better with a lot of good releases every week.

Nexus S imo, androids market getting better from day to day

W7 is a little too closed for me so I'd say nexus S All the I do like WP7 alot!

If you are going to get a HD7 you may as well get a HD2 instead. Very similar specs and apps galore due to all the O/Ses that run on the HD2 including WP7.

Why would anyone want to boot iOS
Now Android and Window7/8 on any Android phone would be sweet.

Not the first device that has been able to do it but its nice to see another company take it up.

This seems very nice.

Wish they bought it out for the Atrix in Lapdock mode - but then again, the memory usage will kill it. They really need more than 2GB in a phone these days!

I'll have to see it before I believe it. They also demo'd this tech on an N900 2 years ago and I haven't seen them release anything so far...
