Hey everyone, I've been trying for a few days now to figure out if there's a way to extract a widget from the main Launcher of an Android device?
The Acer Liquid E has a really sweet multimedia widget that I've been trying to extract to be able to use on other phones (it is a scrollable widget so I know you need to use another Home app Like LauncherPro Beta) but I can't figure out how to pull it out or make it useable, can anyone please help do this?
If you look at this video around the 47second mark the person is using the widget (does music, pictures and videos) and there are tons of Rom's out there for the Liquid E, I just need help pulling it out and making it useable if possible please!

Hello,
I like a installing new roms and such, but I know this messes up widgets but was wondering if anyone knew of a quick way to restore them?
I like using multicon and have whole screen full of the these so lots of apps assigned. Is there a quick way to get these back? as its a pain remaking all the time.

I have decompiled the TouchwizUX.apk, but I wanted to ask where I should look if I want to strip out calendar and some of the other Widgets that seem to cause force closes on skyrocket Roms. I have all the tools, I just need help looking. Is it something standard like bools.xml or where would it be?

I've read a post regarding the stock clock/weather and it not being able to run through another launcher, with finally the alternative to install One More Clock Widget, but....
Would someone out there be able to mod the original widget so that it can work with other launchers (currently running Nova)?
I have an issue with OMC being that it has difficulties with the geo-localization (only through WIFI???) and although the developer is more than reactive (a real pro - thanks!), if there's no evident solution on his side, I'm stuck....

I too switched to Nova and missed the stock widget. I have OMC but am currently using 1Weather. I know this isn't answering your question, but once you get use to an other widget, you won't miss the stock.

Hi i am really pissed with this launcher support that is so hard to reach, expensive app with useless support but anyway im not here to bash. I only have 1 problem that i couldnt resolve and couldnt find any answer through out the world wide web and even reached out for help on APP developers via email and facebook but nothing.
All i want to do is how can i remove that space on my screen where i display widgets? Pls refer to my screenshot, APEX launcher and Nova Prime can easily do this, themer as well but i couldnt find an option on my next launcher i can resize to edge to edge but still leaves a space.
Help anyone?

Just to be clear...you are trying to get rid of the space so that the widget takes up 100% of the width of the screen?

Hi all, new to this groups as I've only last night paid for and installed AppRadioUnchainedRootless and from what I've tried to do to get my phone mirrored, ARUR is simple to use and amazing!
Was just looking for personal favourites or recommendations to a different launcher? I've downloaded Apex and Nova, both pretty cool! Only issue I'm having Is I find the icons really small on my SPH DA120, even the same on the normal samsung standard os (Samsung s8)
Does anyone know a way or suggestions to get icons bigger?
I've seen YouTube videos and the icons and text seem to be a nice manageable size! I've tried options on my phone, thinking about it, haven't tried options when I've got my phone linked up to my headunit.. suggestions, personal favourites, tips appreciated
