guys I just saw this video on youtube introducing touchflo 3d 2.6... umm I was just wonderin if anyone know where to download it?? and why is my winmo 6.5 different from the one at the video... my rom version is 2.53.707.4(76952) WWE..
manila 2.6 is actually sense 2.5
what you would need to do to have that style is check the rom development thread and flash a new rom,

I have a Tytn II with normal Rom version 3.29.707.0 WWE
Radio Version is 1.65.16.25
I am very new to this ROM cooking & flashing thing but it looks amazing & interesting to see how you make your devices look mesmerizing with all those features that you work upon. I read few instructions about how to install these cooked roms with RUU files..But due to lack of knowledge & experience, it doesn't seem to be working for me. I am looking forward to a Manila 3d or 2d rom's .cab file which comparatively is easier to install. Can someone please help me with a file or a link from where i can get a working Manila or any other Touch 3D rom's .cab file that i can use for my Kaiser..Your help will be highly appreciated.
I found one working .cab file for Manila 2d but it doesn't work in landscape mode.

Firstly this should be posted in the software section as it has nothing to do with rom development. Had you posted in software you would have seen this.

Manila 2D was ported from devices that do not have slide out keyboards, that is why it does not work in landscape. For more on M2D see my titorial here.

I have had success using the M2DC tool left over from the original M2D version.
Hi first time poster.
I am the proud owner of a HTC touch pro 2.
Ive been reading on this site about the different roms eg Manila but goodness im so confused, im not really that tech pro. In my settings screen it says "TouchFlo 3D 2.1.38158.2", after some reading on this site it seems to me thats the manila version. is that right? if so how do i upgrade it so i can use the custom themes and skins.
Also i have windows 6.1 on my device atm. should/can i flash it? If so what is the recommended rom to put on (if thats the right way to put it)

You can upgrade to wm6.5 if you want.
I can recommend Energy ROM´s
Leo= Manila 2.5 (slower for Rhodium)
Phoenix2= Manila 2.1 (better for Rhodium)

I just flashed my fone with hardspl but have yet to install a rom.
should i (do i have to) update my wm6.1 to wm6.5 to use the Energyroms?
i guess another way to put that question is, is it worth installing roms on my 6.1 or is it just simply better and wiser to upgrade to 6.5 and then flash a rom?

Don´t be afraid, if you follow instructions all should be ok
And if you don´t like 6.5 you can always move it back easy!

I cant seem to locat.e an upgrade rom for my fone and ive searched these and other forums like crazy, ive googled everything, been on the HTC website i just cant seem to locate it.

I read in the forum that there is no official Manila 2.5 for official ROM. Then where did they get the Manila 2.5 from?
The chefs get Manila 2.5 from the Leo and Rhodium ROMs. The chefs deconstruct official ROMs and leaked test ROMs, extract the manilla files, and put them in the ROMs for other devices. What you read probably meant that there is no Manila 2.5 in the official ROMs for your device.

That's just the Manila 2D 2.0 ripped from the Mega, not Manila (3D) 2.5
