I read in the forum that there is no official Manila 2.5 for official ROM. Then where did they get the Manila 2.5 from?
The chefs get Manila 2.5 from the Leo and Rhodium ROMs. The chefs deconstruct official ROMs and leaked test ROMs, extract the manilla files, and put them in the ROMs for other devices. What you read probably meant that there is no Manila 2.5 in the official ROMs for your device.

That's just the Manila 2D 2.0 ripped from the Mega, not Manila (3D) 2.5

in dutty's rom its manila 2.1 + weather, so maybe it is possible to add/replace some files but alot of skills required for that...
easiest is to flash ready rom...
udk's new rom or dutty's both have weather on main screen, udk's rom is too buggy & slow to use but dutty's rom is perfect.
it is possible , in new original htc wm 6.5 rom, upgrade only manila 2.1 from to 2.5?

Nope, the file would be gigantic, and I haven't seen any manila 2.5 cabs. You could always try a 6.5 ROM using the same build as the official HTC one, though.
I just flash Dutty's new 1.6 WWE rom. It come with new Manila 2.5.20112328. The old patch can not work correctly.

If you want an official update, check htc.com/support
there are custom roms that are indeed more updated that the one you are using, nevertheless they are roms in some way adapted to work on your device, if you only want official ones check the link in the above post.

If you want the latest version of manila/hd2 contents, you need to use custom roms (find out warranty issues involved in this forums). Most of the times, we have fun fitting things which was not meant for our phones (thats the fun part of xda).
So, the conclusion? If you want the official version, then get it from their official site. I believe latest for SEA region is 1.66 ROM. Latest custom roms are based on TMOUS 2.13 ROM which is still in test phase (correct me if i'm wrong).
guys I just saw this video on youtube introducing touchflo 3d 2.6... umm I was just wonderin if anyone know where to download it?? and why is my winmo 6.5 different from the one at the video... my rom version is 2.53.707.4(76952) WWE..
manila 2.6 is actually sense 2.5
what you would need to do to have that style is check the rom development thread and flash a new rom,
