If you want an official update, check htc.com/support
there are custom roms that are indeed more updated that the one you are using, nevertheless they are roms in some way adapted to work on your device, if you only want official ones check the link in the above post.

If you want the latest version of manila/hd2 contents, you need to use custom roms (find out warranty issues involved in this forums). Most of the times, we have fun fitting things which was not meant for our phones (thats the fun part of xda).
So, the conclusion? If you want the official version, then get it from their official site. I believe latest for SEA region is 1.66 ROM. Latest custom roms are based on TMOUS 2.13 ROM which is still in test phase (correct me if i'm wrong).

Hi,
I've created a BETA ROM for the G3 Prophet (G4 version will follow later)
This ROM will upgrade your SPL to 2.20.000
This ROM will upgrade your Radio to 02.47.21
This ROM contains the PDAMobiz Final AKU 2.3 OS (2.15 WWE)
This ROM contains my own stripped version of the ExtRom.
I have not cleaned the PDAMobiz OS ROM, so the files are still there, however nothing is installed via the ExtRom.
I will look at this later.
I've been running this version for a day now without problems, but further testing is needed.
Just download, run the file and after the upgrade is done, hard reset your Prophet (hold down both the camera and comm manager buttons on the side while pressing the reset button)

WWE = english
my own stripped Extrom = deleted software from the standard pdamobiz version because I think they have put too much junk in there. (they make a great rom, but i like a cleaner version and I will add programs myself later)

This ROM does not (yet) contain a IPL, so if you upgrade using this ROM, your IPL will stay the same...
G4 version posted (see first post)
Warning, as I don't have a G4 version, i couldnt test this with my own phone, but it should work without problems.

The problem is that not many ROM include the IPL, so its hard to find one, unless somebody who has a high IPL (2.15 or 2.20) make a ROM dump for me so the ROM makers can use it

If you would like to keep this thread i would consider making it a ME Touch Rom thread/discussion. As the rom itself has been documented and save
So not that new a rom but there should be two separate Official versions of these Roms both for the Elf as Elfin, At least the do exist for T-Mobile.
So unless it's dumped without SPL and IPL it wouldn't be adviced to flash this to incorrect device.

I have already made my own ROM with BIG storage and 4mb pagepool (for Elf) and 8mb pagepool (for Elf AND Elfin) based on this Rom's core and is posted here:

I saw someone posted a thread in Taiwan/HK forum to show their CHT Localization after Cotulla released WWE_O1.
But after that nobody shares it and ask Cotulla to do that,I think.
So CHT is really not exists,I even can't find that thread now.

Use this instead of "update.exe".
Just simply copy "MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe" to the upgrade folder and run.
I think it can work.

And one English with just a patch FR for the skin : Pcarvalho eXtreme (Beta) 3.19 ROM ...

FR rom was often asked but no more FR rom for wm6.5 @M-Amine left the Polaris forum.
But if you want to start cooking a FR wm6.5 and share it rom you can.
Personnaly i prefere stay on WWE rom like that i can have the lastest rom available thanks to @pcarvalho.

Yes, I agree with you, I prefer use the latest version but if this version could be in french it would be much better
However I think it's not very troublesome to use an English version

Hi, where did you find the french patch for Carvalho's ROM?
What the title says really. I've finally got Sense to work how i want it too (ie quickly and pretty stable) and i'm looking to change the theme. I have found some themes that will do the job but some of them are compressed.
The rom i have is non operator branded and the version numbers are as follows:
rom: 1.66.405.2 (76641) WWE (OS version 5.2.21869. What version of 6.5 is this anyway? i.e 6.5.3, 6.5.5 or whatever)
mainla version: 2.5.19211619.0.
I must emphasise that this is a stock(ish) rom and not a cooked one. I have tweaked it a little but it's essentially what the phone shipped with.

Stock ROM's never use CFC compressed files
So you'll have to go with CFC uncompressed

CFC stands for "Chainfire Compression" - Chainfire is a user of this forum (you may know him from the 3D drivers etc.); maybe HTC will sometimes pay lots of money to be allowed to use CFC.
