Hello all, I have a newly acquired Sprint Touch Pro and have been seeing a full manila upgrade floating around, should I upgrade to this or is it not necessary unless using custom themes? Also will it replace/override most of the current manila files? 18Mb seems pretty big for a cab file. Sorry for my ignorance and thanks in advance.

I too aquire a mda vario 4 ( aka touch pro ) and i too dont want to flash my rom but only change to manila 2.1

i just upgraded to the new manila after needing a hard reset for something unrelated and i love the new manila it is a lot better. at first it was slow but after some soft resets or changes in advconfig or installing swype (not sure which) it is now just as fast as before. i would recommend it but you may need to hard reset which is what held me up before.

The new manilla's integrate themselves into the os alot more than the older ones, i would not advise installing 2.1 by cab, you are just asking for trouble and errors ect and it cant be uninstalled so once you installed it your stuck with it, either flash a new rom with the manila u want included or keep the original one, im using my own cooked rom with the original manilla, i dont need 2.1 or 2.5, neither of them were made for our device or work perfectly with it, so u mite as well use the manilla that was made for the device your using not a touch pro 2 or HD 2

Can in any way without harming my rom & slowering the system speed .. can I add tabs in the touch flo ( like calender , stock, etc )

I am running touchflo 2.1 (manila 2.1) installed from a cab and have no real problems at all. The only issue I have is with the Tachi dialer and that is only necessary if you wish to make calls from the people tab. If you install the 2.1 touchflo and don't like it you can use total commander and delete all the manila files and soft reset your phone. The manila files are the touchflo files and will be restored from the rom. Hope this helps

Sorry ^^' R3d V9 is a WM6.1 ROM with Manila (TF3D ver 3 build 32567 by setting->system->TouchFLO)

pretty sure that those values are coded into manila...you would have to find what manila file it is and edit...

Hey all. I have been making custom sliders for Manila. Apparently the 2.07 Roms have different slider icons (different manila files). I have looked everywhere and am trying to find the manila graphics files from 2.07 that can be extracted with cfcgui.
If anyone has them or can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. I have a Rhodium so I cannot flash a 2.07 rom obviously, so I cannot extract the manila files themselves.

Just download a 2.07 rom and dump it
Then you'll have all the files you want

My apologies. HD2 is using the new manila so I asked here.
guys I just saw this video on youtube introducing touchflo 3d 2.6... umm I was just wonderin if anyone know where to download it?? and why is my winmo 6.5 different from the one at the video... my rom version is 2.53.707.4(76952) WWE..
manila 2.6 is actually sense 2.5
what you would need to do to have that style is check the rom development thread and flash a new rom,
