I was just wondering has anyone tried these with any phone they've had?
I'm really interested in buying one since all camera apps I've tried wide angle looks nowhere near the way it should.
curious to see how this would look with the nexus camera. I did a search and couldn't find any examples with a nexus except for a video.
edit: sorry if in the wrong section. couldn't decide whether to put in Q&A or here.

I've been looking around for a wile now and can seem to only find two devises.
Onemoreface which isn't even being manufactured yet. And, one for the iphone.
Has anyone tested the iphone one on their G2? Also, does anyone know of any other accessories that would work?
Thanks in advance,
Groboto
I was thinking about this the other day and thought about building something, which would probably end up looking really ghetto.
Do you have a link to the iphone one? I would love something like this for my phone.

It only goes to show how insensitive HTC became when they were designing the G2 & DZ to leave out the front camera.
Had I fully explored the DZ, I probably would have given it a miss for not having a front-facing camera like the one on the TP2; I took it as a given.
I'll get that iSnapMe when i get my Z and test it out for you Although Onemoreface does look nicer Infact i wrote an article about that this morning lol

Okay, so, I cracked my phones camera lens while at work. Don't know how, don't know when. I just know that it was at work. I'm placing pictures of how it looks and what it looks like to take pictures, below. taking pictures and videos looks foggy and and leave a halo effect on the corner. Also, I don't think it will focus anymore when touching the screen. My question is, what replacement part do I need to get this fixed? I have a NA Nexus 5 (not that this type of problem should matter whether or not it's NA or not) Also, does anyone recommend a place or a link that they have for the replacement part? Thanks for your help.

That's the part you need. It has the lens embedded in it.

Hi I just got my new Note 5 from T-mobile and I noticed main camera is not dead center unlike my note 3 or other phones I have I went back to the T-mobile store and guys there noticed the same thing and we checked the one on the display none of them were centered actually any body know about this issue store guys did not want to exchange it because they are all like that they said. any body know anything about this issue?
Mine is the same way, went to the store and we looked at the displays... All the same. =/ The guy suggested it might be because it's their first unibody design, which sounds plausible.
Camera lens of centered
Just confirmed with tmo tech that it should dead centered and mine sounds very loose clicking when moving phone around.
I think Samsung made some defective phones again lust like note 4 camera issues.
I believe it is due to the lens stabilization. If you turn the camera lens to face you, then open the camera app, the lens snaps to center, and visibly moves as the phone shakes.

You sir are absolutely correct! I found this out later last night as well.
Fwiw both mine and my wife's S6 have a lens that moves off center. It doesn't affect pictures or videos in the least.
Mine was recording clicking sound made by camera moving around as phone shake when recording video at tmobile store guys recorded video in storage room where it's very quiet I returned it I don't think I'll buy another note5 or any samsung phone untill they start to make good devices, my wife has the s6+ and does not any issues that I had with the note5.

What do you mean by this ISO?. I think you meant to say this is OIS which is moving camera lens assembly yes it should move and wiggle when not in use, when in use it should move to compansate motion and it shouldn't make clicking sound that records in to the video.
Foy your information if I was intrested to iphone I would buy one instead of an android device with or without OIS built-in $800.00 device premium price premium device I expected from samsun.
Don't forget this is a forum that people exchange information bounce ideas between each other.
Don't get nasty and mean.
If I did not share my thoughts than I wouldn't be doing my part in this forum.

I don't understand how your camera lens is making such a clicking noise laud enough to be caught by your mic... If that's the case than that's really something wrong. And peopel are over reacting returning their phone for lensbnot being centered when that's normal if you want recordba video and while spinnign stop recording and you will see how the lens is not straight

I just bought the S7, and I noticed that the front camera is just bad.
It looks like the focus is off. it's so bad that it's even worst than my old S4 front camera.
here are examples:
imgur.com/a/bUcq2
the S4 are the left ones, and S7 are the right ones. at the S4, you can see each individual hair (on the eyebrows or the beard), but at the S7 everything is just blurry.
is my device defective, or it's just how the front camera functions on the S7?
I have seen many people reporting this issue, so I really wonder if returning the device and getting another one will do any good.

I just don't get how this issue doesn't get more buzz. I mean, other people don't notice, or just don't care enough of selfies?
Also, I'm pretty sure there won't be any software fix for that - 6 months have passed since release.
So basically I bought a costly flagship phone with only rear camera- cuz the front camera is simply embarrassing, I cant use it.
There is a thread here on xda about this problem, but no one came up with a solution. Some said that models made in Vietnam (such as mine) have a bigger focus issues than those made in Korea. The problem is that focus on the front cam is set to infinity, so it doesn't focus close objects correctly. Some people went to samsung and got 3-4 new devices and all were having the same issue.
I think that it COULD be fixed with an software update, because I found people talking about it on various forums. But until that happens (I hope), try holding it 30-40cm away and it will be decent. Turn off beauty face aswell.
Hey Guys,
Saw an article on 9to5Google today about a shaking issue with the camera. I opened my camera app and sure enough I have that issue too. I didn't notice it until today.
My personal experience with this issue is when I open the camera app and place the phone in a stationary position, the image moves around slowly like the phone is being moved.
Mine isn't as bad as the video here.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Looks like a hardware issue. I don't have this issue on my P3XL. I am running Q Beta5 though. So, I don't know if its an issue with Pie.
i remember seeing more movement when i tested my device when it was new. figured thats how they got the extra pixels for high zoom
