Hi, has anyone been able to extract yahoo messenger cab from HTC HD2 phone and able to install it on TP2?
I know there are multiple clients available. I would like a standalone dedicated app from Yahoo.

try this .. maybe some coder can fix 'it to work on HD2 too. I tried and got stuck on settings .. could not see the NEXT button.

Don't really know if it's working. All i know is this comes from pocket pc so it might work.

you are right, aint working with WM6, do you know where can i download it for wm6?, i been looking but only found it already integrated in a rom

NM all you have too do is set up a new e-mail account.
Just found out that you do not need to install the Windows Live.
Go to Windows folder and look for WLMessenger and launch it.
But this Messenger stills copy all your MSN contacts to the phone book. Quite annoying, anyone knows how to prevent the Messenger Live from copying contacts to your phone book?"
It will install. But what you get a message saying that the installation wants to cancel. Options are yes or no. If you click no it crashes, but if you click yes it installs and works great. Very weird but I had the same problem..

Hi, everybody! I didn't like Live Messenger for PPC, so I did not try this. I tried pocket MSN and this works allright.
I found it somewere in this forum, but I'll try to attach here.

I am looking for Baniaczek's Pocket MSN which I installed in my Windows 6 Pocket PC and now I want to install it in my Tornado Windows 6 smart phone. I know I found it some where here on either Hermes or Tornado Forums. But I can't find it. Please help.
I don't like Live Messenger I just want Pocket MSN and the reason I want Baniaczek's is cause the other pocketmsn.cab files I found here for some reason install but don't work. and I get errors like Instmsgr can not be found. And even if I do find and run it I get the same error. Also it is not appearing in ADD/REMOVE programs. Only Baniaczek's version works fine in my pocket pc so now I need it for my Smart Phone

i have a Polaris and an Asus p750 too.
i would like to know if it's possibile to make work the HTC today plugin on the Asus. I've tried to install it but after selectin it in the today menu on ther today screen doesn't appear enyting.
Can you help me?
and also... the Asus has a funny quicl launch app that maybe could be ported... or not?

How did you take the HTC today plugin off the Polaris? Maybe you should try one of the HTC Home cab files that are circulating in the other forums (i.e. Kaiser, Artemis, ect). Those should have all the registry and dll's you need to get running.
i've used the cab file ti install it! the same used to install it on an HTC divece. but nothing.
is there any method to make it work?

i've successfully installed BeejiveIM_v0_1_.9.2.4 on my D2.
on another site it was written that it can be installed w/o any serial number and need of registering, activation whatsoever.
so, i select No when asked if i want to activate.
then i try to connect to my YMSG account, it shows that it tries to log in...and then i get this "empty" error you can see in the attachment.
can any1 help? do you guys got this application working on your D2s?

I've been using BeejiveIM on diamond 1 and topaz and I had no problem whatsoever...
I now have 0.9.2.4 installed on my Topaz with WM6.1 and it works fine!
Unfortunately BeejiveIM it's the only messenger that I found and I like for wm touchscreen devices... other are just ugly, hard to use, ...

I have just got my superb touch diamond 2 - which I am now using on 3uk as my HTC Hero (contract phone) is so buggy and im waiting for HTC to pull their finger out with android 2.
Question on the hero there is a gmail program which is push email .. ive managed to set my diamond 2 to push email via the sync however id like a dedicated program
Ive gone onto 3 uk mobile phone home page and there is a link for gmail program however it wont load as im on a non 3 uk phone
can anyone point me in the direction where to download the gmail application ??
the diamond 2 is superb phone im now debating to sell my hero but wanna see what android 2 is like before i make my mind up ...

Search gmail help for "google sync"
Google has a gmail application for java based phones, so download jbed, then googles application, and you should be good. I haven't done it in a while, but I remember I was pretty pleased.
Although now it seems that they have a default client for winmo, it says visit
m.google.com/mail with your phone
gmail offer free push email via active sync just google it and it and it will give you the settings works well i have used it myself if you need any help just message me it works round micosoft exchange..

3 uk have a email push software called 3 email .. it pushes in real time to your htc wm phone .. the problem was that the software is ownly downloadable when you have a 3 branded mobile phone which the htc touch diamond 2 isnt after loads of internet searching ive found the link to download it onto a pc and then you can transfer the .cab to your phone
will only work on 3 uk though and not any other mobile phone provider
if your on 3 and want the push email , message me and ill email you the .cab file
its superb
mind you ive just bought a htc desire with android so I no longer use the touch diamond 2 .....
nothing but google sync has touched my pure and other than some outages on googles side. its GREAT.. no need for a external program .
