hello can antone help me who's a computer wiz i have a copy of tomtom 3 on cd with product code and activation code everything but when i have downloaded it on the xda the xda say's ( could not fing gb maps ) but the damn things on the card 128mb 101mb gb map on it some times is say's activation code error please help you info would be very helpfull as my sat nav is out of order

hi all i was wondering if there is any software like limewire or kazza for wm5 i would love to download tunes right to my phone . i use wifi on my phone while at work and was wondering if there was any software made for doing the job . i am not connected to the net at home but i do use wifi when at work and at home . someone in my building or someone next door has a wireless connection and i use it also . so please someone help i am sure i am not the only one who would like this kind of software on there xda to download tunes .. tried looking online with no luck anyone help ... cheers all and have a good weekend

cheers for the speedy reply my friend . i also hope the guy does not notice me hacking into his connection . i have been able to use it for the past 6 months with no hitches so far fingers crossed . i had a look at the program u said but i am not keen on paying for it . is there anywhere i can down load it for free . i have another question is there any way i can hook my xda up to the cradle and hook up thru the wifi and browes using the pc and use the wifi for the conection and use the pc to surf the net ... any further help would be very kind

as for the getting the program for free,why don you ask the author to give it for free.u migth get lucky.

Not in the UK, in america, yes, but in the UK there is no law for OR against it.

This discussion is moot. Once the neighbour in question notices internet slow-down, he will likely wise up and lock you out. It's not difficult at all.
My guess is, just as you get comfortable, you will fined yourself in need of a new access point - if not you are in luck!

Help help help please please please isn't a great topic title to actually get help.
Please adjust your topic title to something like: "No flash support by browser?" or something like that.
Regarding searching, the keyword "flash" would give a lot of false positives flashiing phones is an activety well documented over here
Youtube would indeed be a better keyword.

The number of terrible issues detailed on this forum where people have taken a perfectly functional universal and ruined it by 'flashing' Roms with rubbish softwre suggests that the best cure for a non functional machine would be to have left it alone in the first place.
Surprisingly perhaps, I have had more than two years of solid use from a Universal, mainly it seems by not messing about with its core software and concentrated on just using it.
As my grandma used to say - 'If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it.'
Wise advice, I think.

You are right to a degree, it is important to read up well before tying to flash a phone and leave it alone if you dont know what you are doing. However we wouldn't have the advanced universal we do now if it wasn't for people fixing it before it broke. We have some very clever people on this forum, and they should get all the support they need. I have lost count the number of times I flashed my phone to develope it futher. It still works

I have the G build (hated the H too) and I'm getting market access. But it's really strange, I'll click to download and nothing happens, but hours later I'll notice the apps downloaded. Doesn't seem to be able to download over wi-fi either.
Besides that, I am really loving the build.

If it's any help, I noticed that Market wasn't downloading any apps when I was on RC33, and then realized that for some reason, I was logged out of GoogleTalk. Logged back in, and fired up the downloads again, and it worked. No idea why -- are these apps related? Does Market rely on GoogleTalk to authenticate?

I have 5.0.1gr3 version installed on my phone. And I have Bluetooth prublem. It connects but it dus not work it shows that it using bluetooth. But in reality it using normal spiker. And I have markert prublem. I know it on going issue and I hope it will be resolved soon.

Does anybody found a solution for the market downloading?

Help me please !!!!

I made a big mistake ! Here we go.....I've deleted 2 folders of opera 9 in my application data folder !!!????&($&*?$?% Since opera 9 was my default browser well you get it, can't click links anymore. Now here's the catch, I don't have an HTC device but I am running on windows 6.1 professionnal, and before you dismiss my request because of that, let me tell you I've posted in other forums without any results. And well evrybody must know that here things get done fast and well.....
So please help me trough this, maybe there's a way to change the default browser or something, otherwise I have to go downtown to have it "repaired" by my provider, TELUS from Canada, and it's not convenient at all for me .
