I haven't been able to use HTC audio manager since I got my TP2. I can't figure out what song(s) it is that's causing it to crash. Does anyone know a good way to check the songs or fix the bug in the player?

I had some media files (2 albums) stored on the Device memory. I cut and paste to the storage card and now the media player won't play anything, and it won't recognise new albums on the storage card?
Error message is...
We're Sorry....
A problem has occurred with AudioManager_eng.exe.
I have tried a soft reset but no luck, is there a way to reset the media player to default in anyway? or reload the sw?
I am using XDA Serra.

Same issue with me. I'm using NATF's 2.3 on the Fuze.

Well I am using S2P now which is working really nice, and is better that the Touch Flo player, although it doesn't have a playlist option.

However I would prefer to get the TF version working, even if I won't use it much now.

I'm not sure but if you don't sync youy music library trough media player on your pc you're not be able to see it in Touchflo media player...
So try to sync some music this way or scan trough wmplayer to update the library, maybe this way TouchFlo media player show the list.
However I used to refresh the Touchflo music library deleting the folder called HTC under Application Data Folder at the root.
Reset the unit.
Just because TouchFlo does'nt seem to refresh any change made if I keep the same name on playlists or make modifications on albumart.
Hope this help! But I really recommend conduits Pocket player as the best player (lyrics, bluetooth, fullscreen albumart, equalizer, dsp, etc.)
TF3D Music player..
Thanks! Just downloaded the Conduit Pocket Player. Still wish I could use the TF3D interface to this or WinMediaPlayer. Maybe will be addressed in future NATF rom...

Anyone else have trouble w/ Pocket Player on the Fuze? It seems to 'skip' about once or twice a song, w/ no exceptions. I can't figure out how to fix that. Any ideas?
Well known issue with many HTC phones. Their response to my query was to upgrade my Verizon Ozone. Has anybody upgraded an Ozone, and did it fix the music lag?
Tried Pocketplayer, WM player, GSplayer, TCPMP, etc...
Okay, I have an HTC HD2 with modded software on it. Audio plays fine when I'm playing music on the modded software. I boot up Android EVO from my memory card to play audio, but it plays all stuttery. It does this for every song I play. I just flashed my radio again and that wasn't the problem. Not sure what the heck it is. Anyone else have this issue? I really like using the Android EVO software from my memory card. It's just a shame everything works just fine BUT the dang mp3 audio...
FYI the music doesn't play fast, it just stutters from time to time. It plays fine when I'm just running the modded HD2 software though. Please help if you have any idea how to fix this.
Anyone else having this problem with the stock HTC Music Player on ICS. I find it incredably slow forwarding/rewinding skipping tracks.
All slow and sluggish
Mines seems okay, it could be a little quicker but I don't find it slow. Have you tried any alternative music players?

It's always been laggy for me. I just use Google Music now.
no problems here
Just recently jumped back on xda, dunno where this ota ICS file came from but it might be the file that TMO sent back to HTC for possible issues, any other issues occurring here?
I had the same problem too, it was too laggy sometimes when skipping tracks. now i'm using google music and for equalizer i installed music fx.
Ok so I am becoming more of a minimalist lately but the only thing that bothers me about AOSP is not having the HTC Music App because a lot of my is in aac format to save space, and the problem is that none of the other music players seem to pay nice with my music library. Is there another music app out there that plays aac and is free? Is it possible to get the HTC Music app working on AOSP (probably not)? Any feedback would be appreciated.

You can try THIS , it's light and I've never had an issue with it.
