dutch TNT5 rom

hello everybody
i have transfered the TNT 5 rom in to a dutch language
i diddent do much work because i have used someone else's work just to translate it
so they must get all the credits for there hard word
the maker of TNT
and the maker of the microwave language tool

Hi Danny.
Downloaded and flashed this rom.
After 2 minutes "looking", I found a major problem:
I run the "Network Wizard", selected "Nederland, T-Mobile", and an error about the database showed up.
Now I can't configure any connection, so no GPRS to configure.
2 other thing I noticed:
1] Windows Live Messenger is still in WWE ?
2] No Office apps ?
The rest seems to be oke, but without a connection, there's not much fun with my Wizard.

This isn't the only Dutch TNT (1437) based ROM!

I use the original (English) so I can't tell you anything about this ROM. Since I can't find any replies about a 'GPRS problem' I guess this ROM is OK.

yes i have the same problem and i have notice other problems whit active S too soo i am gonna try fix it i let you know

I think the main problem by useing the Microwave tool is it only copies the MUI's and doesn't edit the rgu's, cpl's, exe etc.. to work with the language. But if it was there before I started my translation it had saved me a lot of work.

yes i believe that but i have flashed your rom and ik works really fine accept on one thing and thats wan you tried to use the keypad when your calling it doe sent work but for the rest is a good rom

Saving my work was the main goal of the microwave. Your words means that it would be really useful if completed and this is enough for me to go on with it. If you wish to share any knowledge about the translation topic, I would be glad to improve the Muiver for the community

it merely refers to a ROM that comes only with standard applications; no third party branded software is included.
statup screens are the same with V2.

Do you know how can I save the MUI files of my phone, I was trying but I become the warning that the the files can not be copy because they are on use.

well i guess maybe you just have to get them from the dump of your current ROM.

All the MUI files for the german language, I use the VA_ALPHA ROM posted by fryrice one of the faster ROM I ever used.

i agree with you mate but unfortunately i wasn't able to use it as a base ROM.
anyway, i have dumped it enough to see all the MUI files. i will check back on you tomorrow.

This ROM is working pretty well, I enjoy the default.wav being fixed.
I just don't really like the new greenish theme that was applied (the CommMgr buttons are barely readable)
For some reason I'm unable to use a home layout that was using rjtime perfectly with Andot's ROM...

edit: registry hack is not enough to disable it. it needs to be replaced or deleted from the ROM itself.

Good day all
while I am surfing the internet I have found this software called "Open Market", it is similar to Microsoft Market but this market is only for free softwares. also, it has one advantage over microsoft market, you have the option to install the downloaded softwares in your storage card (not limited to your device memory only).
there are alots of free softwares there. Its really nice, try it.
Instructions:
1- install .net framework (download it from here http://justpctech.com/PPC/NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab for those who dont have it in thier mobiles)
2-install the program (cab file attached)
3-run "Open Market", click on register and make your account
4-Login and enjoy 100's of free softwares

anyway for all visitors benefit, the downloaded files will be stored in Cache folder and will be deleted automatically when exist the program

It is very strange but this app makes my phone lagg. Its not noticeable at all times but in the main meny when you scroll and the clock started to lagg aswell when it changes the time.
I have it installed on my memory card and i have tried to reinstall it, made a softreseft of my device but without a result.
Anyone know what might be wrong?

it should works fine.
I had installed it in 6 htc hd2 devices , none of them get lagged.
it seems there is another thing that make your device lagg

If it's the same thing from Windows Mobile, then it's an app that will let you run java apps on your phone. The same kind of programs that basically ruled Nokia for years.

Jbed.apk is not valid, it says "Parse Error", I get the same error in froyo

I had problems flashing it but fixed it by installing it manually.

What do you know? It works. However there are some real major glitches. If you remember, almost all JAR games etc depended on left/ right soft keys. And in my SGS there is no such thing.
I tried all buttons and keys on this phone, but to no avail. Also the resolution of the games leave a lot to be desired (though for this you cannot do anything from your end).
Any suggestions on the key bug that I have highlighted above will be really appreciated. But once again thanks for making this - LONG TIME PENDING!

Minecraft won't work as none Java application will, this is for J2ME applications/games.

I tried this JBED package and other different JBED versions (from 2.1 to 2.3.1).
The previous versions to 2.3.1 show an FC right after trying to open. ROM details are at the signature.
JBED version 2.3.1, the one contained in this package as well on the LeeDrOiD v3.3.1 ROM for Desire HD / Inspire 4G and the add-on at Android Revolution HD thread for Desire HD / Inspire 4G, doesn't show FC but all of them display a "Maybe no sd card or sd card is busy, please check it" message. So it isn't possible to install any jar.
Any ideas how to make JBED (or other Java VM) work with this Virtuous Unity 1.31 ROM?

I do apologize for the stupid question, but: how do I install this?

Screen distorted
Hi there,
I installed the zip through the stock recovery of gingerbread on my galaxy fit. It installed fine on my galaxy fit and I now have a java app in my app drawer. But when I run the app it searches the jar files on my sdcard (don't know why it also shows my framework.jar etc. system files). When I install and run the java app the screen becomes pixelated. I mean the app doesn't run correctly.. the screen is distorted.. I can't read or view anything. Please help me fix this !!

does this work on a motorolla XOOM wifi/ 3g android 3.2?
I've been trying this for 2 days now but i can not get this thing to work. I've been searching for my old installation disk and found it. So that can not be the problem. After startup i can configure the controls, but after that it get stuck on the save screen and gives a force close.
Can someone please explain me what i'm doing wrong here?

So did you install it on your windows box then make sure that every file and folder is lowercase then copy them from your c:\ to your mem card?
