Keep WIFI in standby

Hi
Sometimes I need to download some bigger file, I'm using wifi and download manager to do that, but when my phone goes standby wifi turn off and downloading stops. I've already read about some possible tweak for that. Anybody already do it on Touch2 wm 6.5?

You can try that:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\BCMSDDHD1\Parms
HTCKeepWifiOnWhenUnattended=0 - you must change it to 1 and soft-reset your phone.

Recently I have downloaded chome editor and m unable to find - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE option where i can edit it so plz guide me ...

has anyone found where this folder is on the omnia 2 i8000?
i can get as far as HKLM/Comm, but then no more

Download Resco Tools, Resco's Registry Editor is good. Google & install. Then do the changes in Registry

Greetings, just want to ask is there a cab for this, or an app (on/off)? for some non-techie, so as not to dig into the registry, or easily accessible and even can put in program list..

installation:
download Jbed.apk from attachment and install it.
if last section not working for you,
download Jbed.zip and flash it with CWM!
I created a signed flash-able package for easy install it!
Tested on my wildfire and 100% working!
you can press on Thanks button and download it from attachment.
you can flash this package on all clockworkmod recovery version (2 and 3 and 4)

If it's the same thing from Windows Mobile, then it's an app that will let you run java apps on your phone. The same kind of programs that basically ruled Nokia for years.

Jbed.apk is not valid, it says "Parse Error", I get the same error in froyo

I had problems flashing it but fixed it by installing it manually.

What do you know? It works. However there are some real major glitches. If you remember, almost all JAR games etc depended on left/ right soft keys. And in my SGS there is no such thing.
I tried all buttons and keys on this phone, but to no avail. Also the resolution of the games leave a lot to be desired (though for this you cannot do anything from your end).
Any suggestions on the key bug that I have highlighted above will be really appreciated. But once again thanks for making this - LONG TIME PENDING!

Minecraft won't work as none Java application will, this is for J2ME applications/games.

I tried this JBED package and other different JBED versions (from 2.1 to 2.3.1).
The previous versions to 2.3.1 show an FC right after trying to open. ROM details are at the signature.
JBED version 2.3.1, the one contained in this package as well on the LeeDrOiD v3.3.1 ROM for Desire HD / Inspire 4G and the add-on at Android Revolution HD thread for Desire HD / Inspire 4G, doesn't show FC but all of them display a "Maybe no sd card or sd card is busy, please check it" message. So it isn't possible to install any jar.
Any ideas how to make JBED (or other Java VM) work with this Virtuous Unity 1.31 ROM?

I do apologize for the stupid question, but: how do I install this?

Screen distorted
Hi there,
I installed the zip through the stock recovery of gingerbread on my galaxy fit. It installed fine on my galaxy fit and I now have a java app in my app drawer. But when I run the app it searches the jar files on my sdcard (don't know why it also shows my framework.jar etc. system files). When I install and run the java app the screen becomes pixelated. I mean the app doesn't run correctly.. the screen is distorted.. I can't read or view anything. Please help me fix this !!

I sincerely seek help into my rooted device, SM-T211.
It was working fine until today, which I found out that the google play store is not working. It was represented as loading but not connected. When I retry, nothing works. Thus I looked online and they asked me to clear the cache and data at setting > apps.
I did but it didn't work for me...
Another solution arises and suggest me to factory reset.
Being a awful noob I reset it.
So the device woke up WITHOUT A KEYBOARD. (I deleted it...)
So I connected it to the computer and downloaded swiftkey. At least I've a keyboard now!
BUT. Under settings > add account > google is not working. not loading not prompting me to add account. Like the selection was not available.
Yes, the google play store is still not working.
Although I'm able to download the games and apps by other means but not having my account logged on means I cannot purchase anything from the store, not even using Freedom.
This is so bad, please help me!
I'm suspecting that I might delete an important system app of google or some sort...
But I can't seem to restore it or google a list of apk/system files that I need. My device is SM-T211.
I'm desperately finding answers on google but nothing showed up :'(

Well, I recently find out I had the same problem as you, and im glad I found this so I wont post a new thread again... I already did deleting the cache even the data and I dont care If I deleted it... and also try reinstalling it... delete the account , and when I add a existing account then fill up the forms then click next, and it says " cant establish a reliable connection to the server" .. even though im fully connected to our wifi.. so pls. Anyone whats the problem with the paly store? And also im using droidwall, but ofcourse I enable playstore and other google services... any other way than try factory reset?

Omygod! Hello, its me again.. I actually solved it
So if you please can you try to search a app in google search then click the link and select browser rather than selecting the play store .. then it will open a new tab and it must be looks like this:
Then if you have the same problem like mine...
To solve this, make sure you have the current date and time set, then wahla! It solved mine, I really dont notice that my date and time was wrong !

Go to sammobile.com register and then click firmares then search for your model download it extract it to get the tar file put your device into download mode place the tar file you extracted I to the ap section connect the device wait for it to say your contacted and then press start and wait for it to finish

Hey there! Thanks a lot for your help and advice and I tried it out, it worked! But unfortunately I wasn't able to find the correct file for this device... I ended up choosing the one for my country because the website don't have the baseband version of this device...
My device baseband version is T211XXAMFN
Was working well until again the connection failed at play store again... I think is device is beyond hope now T. T :'(

Hello! I finally figured it out! At first it was not working even clearing the cache, data and even force stopped the Google play store. But after using the root Explorer I was able to use play store by going into root Explorer > etc > host and add a # to the ip address... I still want to thank you all for helping me!

Dear Hamidreza, as el_easy said we do not want to bypass commercial apps to use them for free or crack them etc...
We want to make a parallel way to download original free apps for some good reason's as I mentioned some of reasons on the 1st post

Thanks for your reply, It is likely the server side error, as I checked the host and everything is normal and we have a lot of bandwith and storage right now! some of our visitors that using a proxy or vpn or etc reported the same error, is it possible to tell me that you are using any proxy or etc??
