dutch TNT5 rom

hello everybody
i have transfered the TNT 5 rom in to a dutch language
i diddent do much work because i have used someone else's work just to translate it
so they must get all the credits for there hard word
the maker of TNT
and the maker of the microwave language tool

Hi Danny.
Downloaded and flashed this rom.
After 2 minutes "looking", I found a major problem:
I run the "Network Wizard", selected "Nederland, T-Mobile", and an error about the database showed up.
Now I can't configure any connection, so no GPRS to configure.
2 other thing I noticed:
1] Windows Live Messenger is still in WWE ?
2] No Office apps ?
The rest seems to be oke, but without a connection, there's not much fun with my Wizard.

This isn't the only Dutch TNT (1437) based ROM!

I use the original (English) so I can't tell you anything about this ROM. Since I can't find any replies about a 'GPRS problem' I guess this ROM is OK.

yes i have the same problem and i have notice other problems whit active S too soo i am gonna try fix it i let you know

I think the main problem by useing the Microwave tool is it only copies the MUI's and doesn't edit the rgu's, cpl's, exe etc.. to work with the language. But if it was there before I started my translation it had saved me a lot of work.

yes i believe that but i have flashed your rom and ik works really fine accept on one thing and thats wan you tried to use the keypad when your calling it doe sent work but for the rest is a good rom

Saving my work was the main goal of the microwave. Your words means that it would be really useful if completed and this is enough for me to go on with it. If you wish to share any knowledge about the translation topic, I would be glad to improve the Muiver for the community

Get the real HTC Wings homescreen for your Tornado

After googling around for some days, I didn't find any information about to get the real HTC Wings homescreen on a Tornado, therefore i started this thread with the request for some help.
After few hours we got an install file from the user SGregory to get a nice HTC like feeling in our Tornados.
Requirements:

Why? I think this is the best place to ask at it would need plugins extracted from wings and modified to work on tornado.

Ah, this is one thing I don't mind having in the main memory, but I still have not installed it

Someone please share how to do this.. I've copied the .xml's to the /application data/home folder, but I'm not sure what to do with the rest. I'm able to select HTC for my home screen and it successfully changes, but nothing shows up as all of the other files are not in their correct places.

For those people that cant wait (like me). Copy all files in the CTHome folder to your windows directory on your sp. You then need to register the two dll files (htchome and htchomesp). You can register the files with wm5_regsvrce.exe. If you search there are many instructions on how to use this program.

I had found this fix also, but doesn't seem to work for me.... :-(
when I start igo8.exe the "timer" is visible, goes away, and then.... nothing happens...

Extract the files in a folder and remove all the _'s from the file extensions (for the noobies out there)
Replace... Data.zip in \SDMMC\iGO8 on your SD card with the patched one, delete the .lic file on your SD card in \SDMMC\iGO8\LICENSE and insert the new iGO8_PDA_PNA.lic and finally replace iGO8.exe in \Program files\iGO8 on your device with the patched one. Enjoy!

Does not work on L26 Diamond rom v3... too bad
I still have to disable Home and soft reset to get Igo to work...
or does anyone else have an idea?

No sweat man

The fix is not working. Additionally, in Dutty's April 29 iGo works with HTC Home enabled, see Dutty's description.
The so-called fix replaces the released exe file with the beta version.

Just updated to v.8.0.0.35389 and now I don't have to soft-reset
but I still have to disable HTC Home to get Igo started...

also try disabling assisted gps , in start, systems , connections , external gps , last tabbloid...

The only 6.1 ROM that allows iGo (or MioMap) to work together with HTC Home active is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=388947
It is also the only ROM that uses HTC Home_2_1_181_3202.

is it possible to update to that home version once installed?

There is no music tab in L26 v3 and v4, or by default
it's not enabled. I have no Assissted GPS tab in Start - Setttings - System - External GPS
but I have disabled it in AdvancedConfig...

Have You install SPB Mobile Shell ? I had removed SBP, before I have started IGO 8. If I install SPB, IGO will not start. I hope having help you.

Sometimes I need to download some bigger file, I'm using wifi and download manager to do that, but when my phone goes standby wifi turn off and downloading stops. I've already read about some possible tweak for that. Anybody already do it on Touch2 wm 6.5?

HTCKeepWifiOnWhenUnattended=0 - you must change it to 1 and soft-reset your phone.

Recently I have downloaded chome editor and m unable to find - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE option where i can edit it so plz guide me ...

has anyone found where this folder is on the omnia 2 i8000?
i can get as far as HKLM/Comm, but then no more

Download Resco Tools, Resco's Registry Editor is good. Google & install. Then do the changes in Registry

while I am surfing the internet I have found this software called "Open Market", it is similar to Microsoft Market but this market is only for free softwares. also, it has one advantage over microsoft market, you have the option to install the downloaded softwares in your storage card (not limited to your device memory only).
there are alots of free softwares there. Its really nice, try it.
Instructions:
1- install .net framework (download it from here http://justpctech.com/PPC/NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab for those who dont have it in thier mobiles)
2-install the program (cab file attached)
3-run "Open Market", click on register and make your account
4-Login and enjoy 100's of free softwares

anyway for all visitors benefit, the downloaded files will be stored in Cache folder and will be deleted automatically when exist the program

It is very strange but this app makes my phone lagg. Its not noticeable at all times but in the main meny when you scroll and the clock started to lagg aswell when it changes the time.
I have it installed on my memory card and i have tried to reinstall it, made a softreseft of my device but without a result.
Anyone know what might be wrong?

it should works fine.
I had installed it in 6 htc hd2 devices , none of them get lagged.
it seems there is another thing that make your device lagg
