hi guys.i am new to xda.but I brought an gift to all the people who are using android 2.1 aka eclair.if you like the gallary in froyo there is a perfect way to use it on eclair.i ported the 3d gallary in froyo to eclair.but theres a main point to remember it works only if ur mobile supports multi touch otherwise it will be just like 3d gallary on 2.1.
you can follow me on twitter at wiineeth
all of you can download my app from the website given below and enjoy froyo gallary
10x9.com/xh
doesn't work... tried to install and got message "application not installed". I'm using HTC Hero.
This gallery is not from Froyo, it is a dump from Nexus One ROM...
btw: run on Desire
it runs on my htc hero (cronos droid 1.7) though the Gallery3d icon isnt showing.
why didn't it worked on ur device.
it worked perfectly on my desire.
sorry in the hurry I didn't kept the icon
THis version of Gallery3D ROCKS! the only thing I personally would like fixed is the Gallery Icon itself. If that can be fixed, this will be the perfect Gallery 3D
Moguledyouth thank you .
I wantedly kept the icon,
because you would be confused between two gallary images will be same
I removed my other version, this is the only one I need, is there any way you could do an alternate version with the correct icon? I use ADW Launcher and with it I can have Icons without labels on my home screens, so the visual image is clutch.
sorry Moguledyouth
I don't have enough time.
I like different.
I don't like to keep icon because every one does.
I would recommend you to use zeam launcher.

Working on my acer liquid, only issue is that it keeps saying "loading" "loading albums and photos" even though every image and album has already been loaded.
Hey there,
I tried ur gallery and it working fine on my milestone accept it wont show thumbnails for my videos...anybody know why?
Sent from my Milestone using XDA App
hey guys despite of some bugs I hope all of u liked my app.i noticed that the open home,a home etc., home replacements which changes the icons of apps had recognized my froyo gallary app as the main app and changed the icon of my app.
so if you don't like the icon of my app then you should have open home a home etc .
to get any app for free you can email me

alright then I will just have to try and figure out how to fix it myself, since it's the only thing that's out of place, I wouldn't even mind if say you inverted the gallery pic, but whatever that icon is, it's not a photo / graphics icon at all and that's what really annoys me.

Gallery3D Froyo Port
Ok people, since I personally didn't like the non descript icon for this version of Gallery3D I went about changing it, and for anyone who already has a version of Gallery, I went ahead and inverted the Icon for this one. I think it looks kind of cool, I hope you enjoy this little mod and please thank the original op, who made this possible. Camera does work with this one too. Just push it to /system/app.

sorry Moguledyouth,
it will not work
will not work with evo
Well, it won't install on my Galaxy S . My system partition is write protected, still searching for a way to change the permissions.
Quite new in the android scene, just got my Galaxy S a few days ago . It's rooted and i've installed a new firmware, but i can't wait to get my hands on froyo. Very nice gallery, if it would only install...

Not working on my Hero either.
works on milestone 2.1. does anybody know what should happen, when you hit the camerabutton in the upper right corner, because the 3d gallery gets a fc just like the 2.1 ...?
Update: Added a few more apps and moved some things around. See below for changes.
I put this together for myself, but I figured I'd share it in case anyone else wanted it!
I got the idea from MagnusRagnarok and his Cyan Power-up. Thanks MagnusRagnarok!
The thing is, I didn't really like Cyan Power-up for two reasons: His inclusion of apps easily available from the market and his inclusion of a pre-installed theme.
I made this simply to put the Facebook/Market bug fixes, Gapps, and the CM6-Snap-4.1 Kernel in one zip instead of 3 plus another apk. I ended up adding a few small apps and a choice of keyboards! You know, for choices.
Just wanted something to make my nightly flashing easier, but not make too many changes to CM6
I noticed today there is a way to turn compache on/off in Cyanogen settings menu
Just flash this after the nightly in place of the gapps zip!
Includes all updated Google apps from Cyanogenmod downloads section.
CM6-Snap-4.1 Kernel (thanks jmxp69!!!)
Facebook sync fix
Market fix
Removed Twitter (added install in SD)
Added Hotspot toggle widget
Added Chrome To Phone
Added Root Explorer
Added LED Light + Widget
Added Orientation Lock Widget
Added Quickboot
Will create a folder on your SD card that includes the following:
(just install these with your favorite file explorer. Root Explorer is already installed now)
Swype (standard theme)
Swype Cyan themed
Swype Red (droid) Theme
Swiftkey
HTC IME (Sense) Keyboard (Install both files)
Fancy Widget
Skype Lite Beta 1.0.0.5
Sprint TV
Sprint Visual Voicemail

Yeah, you should be fine with the RC1, or really any nightly now and in in the future, and probably Cyanogen's final release, as it is basically a modified gapps zip.
The only thing to worry about is if it's compatible with the CM6-Snap-v4.1 Kernel, which I believe has been compatible with every CM6 build so far.
Sweet, thanks and thanks for putting that Firefox link up too. Totally forgot there was a Mozilla one. Then again, I have been using Chrome a bit more ... =/
Good **** though, good ****.
OP, you need to remove Root Explorer from this as it is a paid app and you are basically giving it away for free to whoever downloads it. This isn't fair to the developer as he/she'll will be losing out and this is similar to pirating.
Not trying to be a douche, but I've seen this before in the N1 forum as someone included a paid app in one of their roms. The developer was pissed off and had that person remove it immediately.
is the facebook fix just the apk in there?
very cool... thank you
I heard the Facebook fix isn't needed since their latest app?
Also, that the most recent nightly fixed the market issue without the trick.
Other than that this looks sweet, and good idea - I didn't want to use Cyan-power up for the same reasons. This is much cleaner (though I'm still not sure why you include some of those apps, I'd rather it just be the kernel + fixes).
Nice work!

You need to quickly take down that zip. Root Explorer is a paid app. There's no place for app piracy on XDA, it's not tolerated.
EDIT: It's $1 dollar. Why don't you just make a recommendation page, no need for 'packages' that are full of software that isn't yours.
makes no sense to me why you would rip a bunch of my included apps out of my roms/themes and then up in one very similar package + a paid app like root explorer and then criticize what i chose to add to my work. i do this for ease of install so after a wipe you dont have to install 50 different zips to get your setup back. if you dont understand thats fine, just dont hack what i do and then criticize what i do here, i spend alot of time doing this to improve user experience.

lol really??!?!! why man, why?
I mean come on.. I didn't criticize, I complimented, but noted that I didn't like the heavy theming and installing market apps to /system. Since you didn't offer any theme-free/market app-free version, I put something together for myself and decided to share it because I figured maybe someone else out there might also have the same view. I even gave you props in the OP.
I didn't rip anything from your package. Everything I had, I found elsewhere on XDA. To be honest I didn't realize that root explorer was paid, since I got it somewhere on xda. I figured the paid market link was for donation, similar to setcpu. I was wrong...
Which brings me to my final point. The download link does not exist. The package has been pulled and this thread is dead. Why you decided to post in the first place seems crazy to me, but whatever. It doesn't matter. My job has become overwhelming and I don't have time to maintain it.
Next time, if you've got beef with me over something ridiculous or otherwise, please shoot me a pm or contact a mod or something. To me that looks like a flame post, and I,for one, would like to keep the forums clear of this sort of thing. Thanks.
NEW Version 2!!!
{Please Vote to Front Page if you like this so others can enjoy, Somtimes my themes are a little tough to find}
Updated:
1. Added AOSP icons... camera, browser, ect.
2. Added my custom version of 4G Toggle for people that don't use Sense.(I made it to look like the Sense UI version of 4G toggle widget.)
3. Added more AOSP notification icons (should be complete now.)
4. New Updated Lockscreen!
5. New Updated Rosie Bar.(made apps, and add button invisible via request)
6. Changed analog clock widget to look like newest Froyo version.
7. Added Stock Nexus One boot animation!
[/B]This is a new theme I made for people that love Sense UI but think the Vanilla Android looks better. The screen shots are all of Sense UI. This is Made to work with Fresh Rom but will likely work with a few others. Please be sure and Nandroid before flashing this. If you don't like the HTC Lock Screen you can allways uninstall it with Titanium Backup and reboot your phone, and then you will have your Vanilla Android Lockscreen (You can also uninstall HTC Sense this way, be carefull what ever you do!). I hope you all enjoy this as much as I do, I worked really hard on this.
Download for Version 2: http://www.mediafire.com/file/3cx889y874uqpa7/AOSPSenseUI_ThemeV2.zip
Download for Version 1: http://www.mediafire.com/file/con2ac1o9drrcz0/AOSPSenseUI.zip
Excellent !
Sweet, I like AOSP UI better. Good work OP!
Looks good, thanks for the contribution.
hey i was wondering if there is a way to do this without the lockscreen mod that you specifically have. meaning is there a way to have the blackbar mod?
hahahaha i didnt even realize you were the author of the WhiteSenseUi-aosp theme, i asked the same question on that thread and i did get some pretty useful suggestions, but was unsuccessful of executing them. is there any possible way that you can possible fix the lock-screen for me? i would be ever so grateful.
WoW This Is Awesome!! I Can Use Sense Widgets And Still Have A Stock Android Look And Feel To My Phone!! Thanks For Sharing.. AnyWay That You Can AlSo Post The Beach WallPaper That You're Using Please?! Thanks Again..
This Is Nice!! EveryOne That Has Seen My Phone With This Loves It!! Keep Up The Good Work..
Do I have to be rooted to install this?? I only really want the bottom where the phone icon is, but I can't figure out how to do that can somebody help?
I found this theme searching and I love it! I really enjoy keeping sense stuff like the 7 windows, and the widgets but I actually like the look of vanilla android
One thing I did notice is when you are removing an icon from the desktop the 'remove' icon at the bottom is overlaid the phone icon.
Not too sure if that is fixable, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
Other than that good work on this theme! I'm enjoying it on my rooted/stock ROM
Great work, this is making me consider going back to sense. Any future plans to include ASOP Icons, phone dialer skin, etc.?

Yes you have to be rooted and nand unlocked. Pretty much any modifications you see on this forum must have that functionality
Tried the red theme with calk 1.1 and it works (i like it a lot)- except the new gmail (2.2.1 i think) FC's over and over.. I'm going to load my nandroid backup which has calk 1.1 and the older version of gmail, then will reinstall this theme to see if it is an incompatability with calk 1.1 or if it truly is the new gmail

Awesome!! I'm glad I could help and that it worked
This is the first theme I ever installed. It worked great on the newest Fresh and it looks pretty sweet! I also had the Gmail force close thing going on but wiping the cache and data for it in the application manager cleared that up!
does this theme the app drawer for the 3d effect
Thanks for doing this! I was looking around for something like this because I was having a difficult time getting it to work on my own.
Any confirmation that this runs on Fresh 3.1.0.2?
Read the first post...
So, in the latest days I was experimenting with TouchWiz, mostly with porting it to mid-sized screens. After many fails with the whole framework porting, I looked for an existing one, and found out Rolle did it for the Nexus One. Played around the APK file, and found out - it works flawless without modifications!
So I collected some widgets, the launcher, some apps (maybe required, maybe not), and deodexed them myself. Currently I am testing them, and I will post all my discoveries just right here.
Until then, here is the partially working TouchWiz Launcher.
Bugs are the following:
- Wrong size menu, last line's bottom is cut
- On the bottom bar, only two icons instead of four - don't know if it is because of old launcher or just the screen size.
- Sometimes it is slow
- Some widgets (simple Search, not google one) is smeared around the screen.
But some features do work:
- The whole TouchWiz Launcher
- Nice and fast and SMALL (only 1.4MB, approx 2MB installed - apk can be transported on a standard floppy disc!)
- All basic features working
- Loads all widgets
Wht about this ?
Link
And when u say widgets, please clarify u mean android widgets, because it sounds like u have the samsung widgets working.
I am talking about Samsung widgets, yes. I don't have them working (yet) but I am trying the best I can do to get them install-run-work. I know, mostly it will need a whole framework porting, and as the G1 has limited space on SYSTEM, it can be only done via symlink and DATA linking, but worth a try
Would be very interested to see this when its done, despite all that touchwiz-hate I think TouchWiz 3 has made major improvements on previous versions
I agree. TouchWiz isn't too amazing, but I wouldn't mind the Samsung widgets, especially Daily Briefing.
nice man please keep up on this. i love all the mini mods android can provide to my phone
Hope you can fix ^^ it's awesome!
Any progress ?

Yes it is empty, and does not display any new messages. It also said my launcher api was too old.
launcherpro?
It seems that it is, for whatever reason, using an old api and therefore the launcher is not supported by lots of scrolling widgets.

-contacts list should load a bit faster now
I attached the .apks in first post for those who cannot download from market (for whatever strange reasons ).
hi,
the apps works great with golauncherex, but is it possible to write messages directly on homescreen? that would be really a plus for this widget.
