Nexus One stuck on loading screen - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hey guys,
Today i tried to restore my phone back to stock rom and as i was trying to get into recovery mode and complete a nand restore but it wouldn't let me get in. it would just reboot me back into bootloader. i tried updating my superboot and recovery image to 1.7 and now it's just stuck at the loading screen. is there anyway to restore it? i found out i couldn't get into recovery because of rom manager. i'm stuck!!!!

Did you do a wipe and then try to restore the NAND?

[Q] Nexus S ICS stuck at boot up screen

Hi guys, I just update my SNS Ice Cream Sandwich through CWM. After that I rebooted and it's just stuck on boot up screen for about 25 mins and nothing happen. This is the screen http://prestongeekup.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/ice-cream-sandwich-boot-up-sequence-0.png
My SNS was 2.3.6 stock then update to ICS.
Any suggestions? It's still stuck..
Did you use the update (2.3.6 --> 4.0.3) file or the full rom (anything --> 4.0.3)?
If you used the full rom i'd recommend to try it again after doing a data factory reset, cache wipe and format of /system and /boot.
this file http://android.clients.google.com/packages/ota/google_crespo/VQ8PQk_V.zip
And I can't go into recovery mode. It's black screen. I can go into bootloader though.
Go into bootloader and use fastboot to flash CWM again (latest 5.0.2.0), stock rom will always replace the recovery until you rename a file. You did do a NANDROID backup before you flashed ICS right? If not do one now in case you lose data, you can extract the NANDROID later if necessary.
The ROM you got was the (correct) update, if it keeps booting to that screen and stays there it was probably a bad flash. Either way, try flashing that same file again and see if it works - after doing that backup of course.
Is there a tutorial of how to use fastboot? I'm not very good at it.
Thanks a lot
fastboot flash recovery recovery-cwm.img
I got the img from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=988686
my phone is in bootloader.
I typed in cmd - fastboot flash recovery 5023-cyan.img
It says waiting for device
What do I do?
Got it working. ICS looks very nice
Here is how I fix waiting for device problem
Thanks a lot you guys.

[Q] Phone won't boot to system or recovery

So I tried to flash Magnolia X 1.0 coming from MIUI. After I wiped from MIUI and tried to install Magnolia I got an error. No big deal right? So I figured I would reboot recovery ( clockwork mod ) and try again, if it didn't work I could restore MIUI. When I hit reboot recovery I got stuck in a bootloop, from white htc screen to off. It just looks like it is trying to get to recovery but it is not loading it for some reason. So I decided to boot it into hboot and reflash the recovery, or possibly flash twrp. Now my problem is that the computer is not recognizing the phone, so none of my fastboot or adb commands do anything I just get <waiting for device>. Any ideas?
So right after I made the post I was able to get the drivers to reinstall and was able to re flash the recovery. Tried both CWM and TWRP and neither will boot. With TWRP I can get to the recovery splash screen but then it just goes black. Downloading the RUU now and I am going to try to flash that through the bootloader. Other than that I have no othe ideas...anyone else have any?
Got it...had to relock bootloader and run ruu then extract the stock recovery and flash it. Rebooted into recovery let it sit, then it rebooted back to the bootloader. Re-unlocked bootloader then flashed TWRP and it worked fine. Back up and running again.

[Q]

TF300t on 4.2.1. Added unlocked ok, Flashed TWRP via Fastboot ok, flashed Baked Blackbean 8. Stuck on ASUS boot screen with unlocked msg. Took two nandroid backups prior to flashing rom. TWRP said rom flashed ok. Tried to reboot but does not progress past boot screen. Can enter RCK Android Wipe screen with power & volume buttons. When I restore backups it never completes. Reflashing rom seems to complete ok but will not reboot. How do I get the system to accept the sdcard backups or roms? Saw msgs about extracting firmware blobs but wasn't sure how to do that or which one. Any help is appreciated.

[Q] Stuck on bootanimation. HELP

Tried looking everywhere, but couldn't really find anything. Any help is appreciated!
Alright some background info
I rooted my phone and unlocked the bootloader successfully. I wanted to do more, so I flashed TWRP onto my phone using JRummy's ROM Installer. I followed all the steps and successfully booted into TWRP recovery. I created a Nandroid backup and when I tried rebooting my phone it gets stuck on the 4G LTE boot animation.
I then tried wiping the cache etc. and restoring the backup I had just created. To no avail, the phone kept getting stuck on the boot animation. I've tried restoring the backup multiple times with no success.
On my last attempt I checked another box on the TWRP restore page, I think it was the VG5 verification or something. Halfway through what I though was going to be a successful restore, my phone reset and got stuck in the boot animation again. Now when I boot into recovery it's the stock recovery, not the custom TWRP as before. Tried clearing everything/factory reset and it still stuck on boot animation.
As a college student I'd like to get this figured out as soon as possible (hopefully before midweek, Friday at latest). If I can figure this out with your help I'll be very grateful.
If I can't find any other way, I'm willing to flash stock back using ODIN and seeing how that turns out. Also my home button is a little sticky so I doubt the Verizon worker would be able to boot into recovery or download mode.
Any suggestions?
For those of you TL;DR
1) Rooted phone / unlocked bootloader
2) Flashed custom TWRP recovery onto phone
3) Created a Nandroid backup from recovery
4) Tried rebooting and gets stuck on 4G LTE boot animation screen
5)Wiped cache etc. and retried multiple times. Doesn't work
EDIT: I flashed stock through ODIN and everything seems to be in order. I'll be trying to root and recover everything through TWRP again and if it doesn't work oh well. My end goal is to have a custom ROM
Maybe this will help you
Okay for your problem, if you can go to Download Mode and your recovery back to its stock form, your last option will be flashing it through Odin. There are several method and guides How to Flash via Odin. I will link to you all the guide and try it so your phone will be back to normal. Choose only 1 method
1.) [HOW-TO] Unbrick your soft bricked Galaxy S III (+ bootloader brick)
2.) Verizon Offcial VRBMB1 Odin Files, VRBMF1 Odin Files, and VRBMF1 Update Files
Must read first the guide and download all the necessary.
If your phone gets revived, you can try this method and choose TWRP recovery and update the recovery.

Thanks for replying
I've got everything back in order now. I'll try installing AOKP or something

T-Mobile Pixi 7 (9006w) - softbricked after OTA attempt-Resolved

Well, I put the tablet back to stock and then ran through the OTA. The update never completed and softbricked it, will only boot into recovery. I have cleared cache/data/userdata/system/boot/recovery and reinstalled stock ones (fastboot flash .IMG files) and still boots to recovery. Stock recovery says "installing software update" and then "Error!" with the red triangle, TWRP and CWM work fine, but it will never load to Android. It is like the Bootloader is stuck in update mode and won't boot to android until it completes. I have tried to restore a Nandroid (TWRP) and it still just boots back to recovery. I have no luck with anything, though the fastboot flash process completes without issue.
Thanks to @aclegg2011 & @YarsRevenge78 for the files and instructions/information. :good:
Any Ideas?
Anybody?? I need to get this thing working again.
I do have another one to pull stock images from.... anybody?
Apparently, all I had to do was just let it sit at the "Error!" screen until it ran through the installation and came back to the stock recovery screen. I then wiped data and cache then it rebooted fine, minus my data. Thanks anyways.
