Try app here:

Goto settings then sound and display then switch off single volume, this will give you dual volume controls.

has already set off ... infact I have two separate controls.
The problem is that I no longer have that kind of screen (attached image 1), but the original (like attached image 2)

thank you, but it's not what I'm looking for
You could try to delete the following files from \Windows\ directory
HTCVolumeControl.dll
HTCVolumeControl.dll.0409.mui
I guess the volumecontrol then can't be found, and WinMo will use the default. Although I'm not sure if it will even work, it's certainly not the best way to fix the problem.
Make a backup first!

I may have mistranslated, but after installing the new taskbar, the phone returned to the default volume control. I wish that one I had before, the modded one
anyone else?

Ah, you mean you want the HTC volume control?
Then check this message, I had that problem a while back when installing a different toolbar.
Looks like the custom HTC volume control dll is not compatible with your ROM version. Navigate to windows folder, and delete HTCVolumecontrol.dll file, and reboot. You should get the stock one back.

Hi guys I am currently using TNT5.0 on my wizard and I noticed that the Touch syled 10 button Comm Manager and also the Cube's font has changed considerably and no longer looks nice. I have attached screenshots of what I am talking about.
If anyone knows how to fix this short of hard-resetting, I would be very grateful.

Remember if you have added new fonts recently.Get some generic font Ariel is best and paste it into windows folder. now search for any font files in windows folder and rename it. now soft reset your device and delete renamed files.
Hope this helps. Best of luck

Well I was able to get the Comm Manager fixed but the cube would not change back to normal... Oh well... I don't really use the cube anyway, I just don't like imperfections on my fully custom phone you know?
I see you have wisbar, are you sure that you didn't used the override system font ?

thats a good question... right now i dont have in installed and the fonts are normal. i'll have to look into it when i reinstall it.
Come on, the problem has been mentioned so many times! This is 95% sure due to WeatherPanel, just change the font in this app to another one (i.e.chameleon).

ive just fixed a similar problem. since i installed that **** called livingsoft i started with problems in my font cube (only)
i solved this problem by doing this:
1. i searched all the ttf files in my windows folder (using the resco explorer)
there i found some files, one of them was called sildunir.ttf.
as i didnt recognized that font i searched on the internet, and i found it was the font of my already uninstalled livingsoft program.
2. i tried to rename it and soft reseted.
3. nothing happends.
4. what i did next was to rename the tahoma.ttf font to sildunir.ttf (notice that it is the tahoma font just with a different name)
5. i copy it to the windows folder and it asked me to rename the old file. i did it.
6. soft reset and my problem was solved.
use this as a guide. maybe your font isnt sildunir.ttf, but you recognize another one that is causing this problem.
sorry about my bad english.
cheers from uruguay.

www.cebeans.com. You need runtime installed before talking clock will work. I've attached the zip files for both. Double tap the talking clock file from zip, a folder is created named talking clock, copy or extract the rest of the files to this folder. You can assign this prog to any hardware button by tapping on the start menu/settings/buttons. Enjoy!

I think ill find a female voice to replace the male on though!

Yeah I'd rather it be a female voice, too. If you decide to keep the male voice and to assign a button to it, copy the talking clock exe (not the whole folder) to windows/start menu/ programs. The app then should appear in the button assignment list. Sorry I forgot to tell you this in my post.
Hi
after installing Massimo's Colored Top Bar on the TD2, the Single Volume option does not work any more. Ring Volume and System Volume can only be adjusted separately.
Will there be a fix available? I like the colored icons very much, but I also like the Single Volume option...
Thank you!
Same Here
I wish some comes up with a solution that will be great!
The speakericons are in the volumecontrol.dll. U can change them easy. Take a loook at here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437307
I made Tsowentaskbar5v1.7 for Topaz It's now called SpaceManTaskBar but all the credits to Tsowen !!!
(sorry for my very bad english)
The attached file has the single volume control with colored volume icons, they are different from what you need, but still they are coloured with the single control.
Just copy the file to your Windows file. If you cannot overright the current one, first rename the old file then copy the new one. You need a file explorer other than original one. Like Resco or Total Commander.
Thank you very much, I'll try that!

I just tried to install the HTC Coloured Top bar.cab after updating to Windows Mobile 6.5 earlier. Now when I reboot I get the error message
"..\..\common\persistence\internal\winmfile.cpp:56"
It then fails to boot to the phone. Don't install this app on Windows Mobile 6.5!
EDIT:
Fixed via a hard reset (http://www.hardreset.eu/htc_touch_diamond_2_hard_reset_soft_reset_en.html)
Hi,
I've been working on changeing the colors to the Volume Crontrols, but with a bad result!
Can anyone please upload the original "HTCVolumeControl.png" from the Windows folder.
No funny comments please ;-)
Or does anyoune have a nice set of colors to the volume Controls? I can only finde it for the THD, but not for the TD2 in VGA.
Thanks...
Here you go the original file...
Thanks a lot ;-)
These work on my Diamond 2. Credit to the person who created them (I can't remember).
Thanks again - it's guys like you that keeps this site alive!

Ignore the language, that is not set in the download but from your system.
Shout!
I realy made a total mess of my volume control when i tried to put some color on it. Now it looks like the attached screenshot - very small, and i can't get i back to normal.
Any ideas about what to do?
perhaps you have change a dll or something from a smaller unit (QVGA?)
I've themed mine without any problem. What I do is just use Fireworks... cut out whatever button I want to edit, paste it into a new image, edit it, cut/paste it over the original.
With the small size I think a setting was off or again, a dll file was replaced.
Okay, i got i fixed now ;-)
The problem was the the skin files was for QVGA and not VGA - as "Player911" mentioned.
So i changed the porpotion of the 3 files som they matched the VGA resolution.
To change the S2U2 volume controls:
1) Close S2U2 using the "iLock2" app
2) Unzip the attached files
3) Copy them to Progam Files\S2U2\gfx and overwrite
Now you have green Wolume Control's if you use S2U2 volume control.
Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to assign a different Icon to a quick link? I would basically like to make my own Icons and links them to my programs and bookmarks to show on the Today page.

If you want to change the program icons. You must edit the icons in the startmenu, after that the icon on the home screen change also. You can change the icons with Icon Changer (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=567080) and ReStart (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=481379), you can find a lot of icons here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=533993
Thanks that's exactly what I needed.
Thanks too
A way to assign icons to folders ?
You can easily change icons from start menu without using the Icon editor by changing the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start\xxx.lnk]
"Icon"="\\Windows\\yyy.png"
where xxx.lnk = the Start Menu link
and yyy.png = the icon you want to use

Use the 2 programs i mentioned in my first post. Also for folders
Just a slight follow up question. This works perfectly on most icons but I've noticed one program that I downloaded from Windows Market Place (moTweets) changes in the start menu but not on the quick links.
I've restarted the phone but no joy. Is the something to do with Windows Marketplace? DRM or something?

I've tried this... and I can't get it to work at all. I had to use ReStart to get it working but it seems that it does the same thing as I did manually but somehow it got the changes to happen. I did restart the device everytime I made any changes but it doesn't seem to work?
I don't really want to install something if I can get it done via the registry so any tips?

Remove the corresponding .bmg file from \Application Data\HTC\ProgrLauncher and softreset. It should work fine.
