Looks like your using a local IP... Not familiar with your setup, but if your phone isn't connected to the same network (via wireless or some other means etc...) then in theory you should be using a public IP to connect via RDP.

[MISC] [12112011] [Adhoc Network Support]

Hello everybody, in last few days i've been worried much about internet on my phone. Because i was having problems with my router's wi-fi broadcaster. So i decided to set up an adhoc network with my laptop. But my DHD refused to even detect it. So i searched for solution and was quiet astonished to see that all DHD custom roms are out of options for adhoc network support. So i searched for solutions and here is the outcome for my efforts.
DHD Support for AdHoc Networks................
How to:
1- Download zip file
2- Boot into recovery (not bootloader)
3- flash zip file
Now your DHD is supposed to detect and connect adhoc networks.
Note: Set your adhoc network's security to WEP (at least 10 or 13 characters)

[Q] Phone internet slower on phone than on PC. Why?

Can someone explain why I get a better connection on my PC when using my phones mobile network (USB tethering) than when using my phones mobile network from the phone itself?
Here are four test results. The first two are the absolute best results I could get from my phone:

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
These results are from the PC (notice the ping):
My first thought was that it was something with the android app but when I test both over my cable connection I get the same result on both the PC and the phone. I tried making everything the same at all tests. Screen was on, speedtest app was running and so on. Any ideas?
Try using the website speedtest on your phones web browser, not the speed test app. I've heard they produce different results.

If it's a Wi-Fi network that you have previously connected your device to, you can use several methods as described in the link below, read the whole thread and try the different methods.
https://www.quora.com/How-do-you-see-a-saved-Wi-Fi-password-on-Android-without-root-privileges
If it is a network that you have never connected to, get the password from someone else that already has access. If you have never connected your device to that network and there is no one you can get the password from, then you're out of luck. We don't help crack Wi-Fi networks, that's illegal. You'll have to go somewhere else on the internet other than XDA if that is what you're looking for.

Unable to setup my device as FTP server in Solid Explorer

I want to transfer files between my phone and laptop without connecting to the internet.

Ideally it should look like this. (image taken from another website)
However, when I use the app 'Wifi FTP server' , it does the job perfectly. I'm able to setup FTP server and transfer files flawlessly.
WiFi FTP Server – Apps on Google Play
🇮🇳 Carry a FTP server in your pocket and avoid USB cables for file transfer
play.google.com
I also have the Solid Explorer FTP Server installed on my phone but still face this issue.
What can I do to make Solid Explorer app do the job without hassle?
