[MISC] [12112011] [Adhoc Network Support] - Desire HD Android Development

Hello everybody, in last few days i've been worried much about internet on my phone. Because i was having problems with my router's wi-fi broadcaster. So i decided to set up an adhoc network with my laptop. But my DHD refused to even detect it. So i searched for solution and was quiet astonished to see that all DHD custom roms are out of options for adhoc network support. So i searched for solutions and here is the outcome for my efforts.
DHD Support for AdHoc Networks................
How to:
1- Download zip file
2- Boot into recovery (not bootloader)
3- flash zip file
Now your DHD is supposed to detect and connect adhoc networks.
Note: Set your adhoc network's security to WEP (at least 10 or 13 characters)

Wifi certificate network connection Tornado.

Hello all,
Ok I need serious Help.
I’m trying to connect on a Wifi secure network that use a “certificate” to login with my HTC Tornado.
I do have the certificate install on my smartphone, we can actually see them in the security options:

}
It works under a WM6 PDA but on the smartphone when I arrive at the certificate selection nothing happens:
Here is where the problem happens:
When I hit properties on the PDA WM6 this shows up :
But on the HTC Tornado nothing shows up, so i can't finish the configuration for some reasons I can’t select the Free certificate.
Can someone help me out with this please?

Doesn't the cert need to be in Root? Not personal?
Hello,
Has anybody solved this issue? I'm facing exactly the same one...
Many thank in advance.

Android Pie - Wi-Fi Issues

I don't know if you guys are encountering the same difficulty as I with certain apps, the problem in the case is that they only connect to the data mobile and Wi-Fi just do not work. I saw that the problem also occurs in One + and some Pixel, all with the Pie version.
After a long time trying to solve the problem, trying everything, formatting everything, trying on different Wi-Fi networks, and nothing worked.
The applications I had a problem with were: Netflix, Twitter, some websites, speed meters like SpeedNet, and so on ...
For now the only solution I found was using AFWall + firewall and disabling IPv6 for the entire system, the following link and configuration is below:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.ukanth.ufirewall
In the application preferences, in Rules / Connectivity leave it as it is in the screenshots

WiFi MAC Randomization option

I have an issue connecting to my companies VPN and I suspect it's due to the MAC randomization feature.
I'm currently running Android 10 and can't find the setting anywhere. I even enabled developer options, but nothing there under Networking either.
Can anyone confirm if this setting is available in Android 11 or 12? Thanks!

I would look for the random mac address in the advanced settings of the wifi connection to the router. After connecting to the router of course.
Of course I should have checked that by now, lol.
The MAC tied to my DHCP assignment is indeed NOT randomized.
Not sure what the deal is with my VPN, as it works fine via the cellular network, just not over WiFi (no matter what network I'm on).
I'm still curious if this setting is included in Android 12. I may have to upgrade sooner than later to troubleshoot this one.
