How do we buy? The site doesn't seem to offer link for purchase.
Ordered the silicone one and in my opinion it makes the phone look ugly a bit and after all it kills the great feeling when you hold it in hands without the case. So I'm gonna buy a full body clear protection from zagg or elsewhere.

Where to buy this case?
I think I'll be using this phone without a case - which is a first for me. Must have spent hundreds on different cases for different models over the years. The back on this phone feels pretty good and as it covers just about all but the screen, is an easy option to change if it gets damaged. I've just ordered a replacement back from an ebay trader for just under £10:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320563176539&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT
Happy to report on its quality if anyone is interested.
Been really happy using a belkin slip-in iphone case with my HD mini.
It sits in quite snug, pull-tab lifts enough of the mini out & I've not had any issues with catching the answer/reject buttons!
Originally got the case for my Treo Pro, quality is bob-on (ta Belkin!), & has lasted great!
I have bought this case from e bay. fixes nice on my mini and the quality of the case is very good

what about this zagg invisible shield?!
anyone using it?
is it really worth?!
cya.

Hi,
I ordered this Clear Coat Scratch Protection together with my htc hd mini. The store sent me one that is custom fit for this particular model
http://www.mobicity.com.au/catalogsearch/result/?q=htc+hd+mini&x=26&y=11
So I now just have the hd mini in my pocket or bag, and use it ala-commando (no case, nekkid, you get my drift)
It is really clear, capacitative screen is as responsive when the coating wasn't applied yet (except when WM was acting up )
Apparently very strong and seems to be so.
I'm happy with it
cheers

Hi, i'm thinking on buy this Htc Original Case for my Desire S, but i can find only this image on all kind on web-sites i searched, no one video or a photo with this case on the smartphone.
Can somebody help me posting some different photoes of this, maybe a video? Thanks a lot!
i looked around the internet and saw this case on mobile fun:
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/official-htc-desire-s-tp-c580-tpu-skin-p29231.htm
It says it's the official htc case and has 2 good reviews. Doesn't seem to look like the case in your picture though.
I didn't even know htc made cases though! I thought they only made pouches.
is the same site where i found the case i ask for, is under productors htc, i can't post external link yet, but is on sale on the same web-site you linked, but there is only the picture i posted, i can't find out how is when applied on the DS and of what materials is made (appear to be in cloth over the first strate of plastic, or polycarbonate idk)
then again, no one have bought this case for a little review?
p.s. there is also on htc shop
i checked again on htc shop, the exact code is HC C580 and the description say:
This hard shell case is designed with counter moulded front and rear casings to give the maximum protection for your Desire S.
The middle part of the case is made from a PU plastic based material.

so maybe is made of something like cloth, but i can't still figure out how it cover the DS.
Still waiting for a Review ^^
This is brand new...to b released in a week hence no reviews yet. I have the htc tpu original case, which is pretty gd. Best ive found tho is the propora mizu shell.
Sent from my HTC Desire S
Where can you see the relase date? i checked again on 3-4 web-sites but i can't find the age of this product. Maybe you are right, but i just wat to know how to check it
Its on mobilefun website and expansys. It looks smart but doesnt cover the bottom lip from looking at the photo. Let me no if u buy it, for a review. Thanx

thanks! i bought one of these 2 days ago :\ now i'm thinking to refuse or not it. With thse photoes don't look as good quality as on htc website... is really simply plastic, maybe a case mate can be better... i'll let you know in these next days.
As there not being many branded options available in India, I have ordered almost all kinds available on eBay India, including a few screen protectors.
Fake capdase is all over the market but pathetic quality.
Don't really like the silicone kinds, they attract too much dust and if it's a black one, God help you keeping the dust and fibres off!!!
The mesh ones without protection for the top and bottom corners is useless.
Then came the Amzer soft rubberized plastic case, have been using since 3 months and has served well during the 2 accidental drops. Full all around protection.
Have a matte finish screen protector on as of now, helps cut the glare down and improve visibility in daylight but the screen looks very dull if brightness is turned down. Good thing is it does not smear & stain with fingerprints and is actually scratch proof.
Tried the most expensive indian branded scratchgard screen protector but was crap, too much glare and scratched all over within the first couple of days.
Pics attached.
I'm looking at getting a 6P in the new year and am buzzing having read the reviews. I am, however, considering protecting this one as it is a lot of money to cough up in one go (it will be the first time in a while I have bought a handset outright instead of as part of a contract).
Has anyone got any experience with the DBrand skins? I'm considering one as they look like a good compromise between having my phone completely exposed (and likely to become damaged knowing me) or hiding it away in a big leather / rubber case (why have a nice phone when its hidden away?).
The photos on their website look nice (IMO) but I don't know anyone with one or who has had one. Do they mark / wear much? Are they easy to install?
On a side note, do people still use screen protectors? I haven't done for years as I always struggled to find one which doesn't start peeling at the edges after a week of use. Problem is I always end up with small scratches (nothing major but can be annoying). Do people generally just put up with the tiny marks on screens or do you use decent screen protectors?
Thanks
There are pretty good threads on the topics you listed.
dbrand stuff LOTS of pictures in this thread.
Tempered glass screen protectors. Much more popular nowadays since they don't cost upwards of $20-40 USD like they used to a year or two ago. My 2 cents, people are raving about intelliarmor like they're the second coming of Jesus, but they are just like any other company using a Chinese manufacturer for their stuff. Customer service is on par with other vendors in my experience in providing replacements. I've have zero issues with Supershieldz and every install I've done for myself and others are fine. Prices are also similar if not the same. You can find a two pack of Supershieldz on Amazon for $7-8 USD, I think.
You can't go wrong with dbrand regarding quality and customer support. You'll love it.
I am currently rocking a dBrand skin and Intelliarmor TGSP and both products are amazing.
As for the customer service of Intelliarmor, I can say that they are way above average. I got 5 protectors for the price of one because they provided me with free upgrades to the new versions every time I asked. Though the new edge to edge is not truly edge to edge but it does come in a 2 pack also. The cutouts are perfect though.
As for dBrand, they're not kidding when they say precision cut. There is basically no wiggle room, but the quality has been top notch so far. The shipping takes a while though if you are not located in Canada.
There's whole threads on these 2 products already on this forum if you want to know more or get some more pics.
can't go wrong with dbrand or slickwraps. same quality IMO

1. Please SEARCH before posting. There's already a large OP discussing dbrand skins with pictures, personal experience etc... You can find that OP here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/accessories/dbrand-skins-t3233996
2. I am reporting this post so it can be closed because you created a new OP without searching. The forum already has tons of duplicate OPs and it makes it hard for people to find the proper information without searching. We should all know the rules and try to help out rather than create a cluttered mess. I'm not directing this at your, but rather I post this every time I see tons of duplicate OP's because people fail to search first.

Well, let's see how this develops...
As for a case, I got these two for starters:
https://www.amazon.de/Spigen%C2%AE-Elastisch-Stylisch-Handyh%C3%BClle-Schutzh%C3%BClle-RA-Schwarz/dp/B07B9SKC5K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1527018512&sr=8-1&keywords=motorola+g6+plus+h%C3%BClle+spigen&dpID=510FXckhR3L&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
https://www.amazon.de/iBetter-Shock...pID=51XML3FlA7L&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch
I like the Spigen better, they do quality cases for a reasonable price. Look and feel is way better than the iBetter.
Hi @Howlbeck,
I don't recommend the first one... I have a similar one for my Moto G5+ and it makes the phone very big. It's pure plastic!
For the second case, it may be thinner. So if you purchase it, please comment about it.
Any idea for a good screen protector?
Regards.
i bought mine like the first one and its really thin but it can absorb some falls and protects camera .

Sure! here you are:
I cant take a photo of my phone wearing it because i havent other device.
Same here - only difference: my one has "spigen" plus the logo imprinted. The other 2 pics are the IBetter.

To be honest, Manos:
I don't like cases at all, but I need them to give me some protection for my clumsyness... ;o)
When I'm at home or at stationary work, the case(s) comes off.
The one Motorola includes with the device is ok, but... Big but.
I do like soft, transparent cases - but they tend to fade to yellowish pretty quick, doesn't matter if you are smoking yourself or not.
As there is no soft transparent case available as of yet - the Spigen it is.

Me too!
I'll continue searching for a very lighty case.
Thank you!
Can anyone suggest me a case that adds grip to the phone since the glass back makes it very slippery? Too bad dbrand's grip case is not available for the Moto g6 plus .
As there are not many cases available right now, I think any case gives you a better grip currently. It's a matter of getting used to handling it without a case - as mentioned above, being inside I don't use cases - only while being outdoors as mentioned above.
As for cases making the phone bigger - well
The G6+ already is big, so I don't really care about a few more mms as long as it protects the device properly. Spigen did a very good job in the past, so I tend to coming back.
Compared to our Nexus 6P (Huawei) - this is "smaller" overall, barely bigger (taller, mostly) than the old Nexus 5X (LG) but - between Mrs. and myself, one of us will be using it. For an entry/budget Project Fi phone priced at $199 + tax, free shipping, I am very pleased with how it feel, look & setting it up, waiting for the case to arrive (delayed in transit ... by a day)
This is what I ordered, found it on Amazon - not a major "brand" name but appeared to provide the extra protections that we usually look for, and should not be too bulky. Otherwise, it does feel slippery especially with one-handed mode and we are know, sooner or later, it will be dropped accidentally - a little extra help on the corners & edges won't hurt. If a better & nicer case come up, I don't have a problem spending more or having an extra one around.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DCKVM5B/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Once I get that, will put up pictures & have a side-by-side with the N6P (and, most likely, before I ship out the N5X ... battery is starting to not hold its charge, taking advantage of the "generous" trade-in allowance valued at $95, not bad - net cost to get the G6 is something I can live with, i.e. minus NFC, no G.Pay)
Been using Supershieldz's Glass screen protector and pleased with it, got 2 of them, so always have a spare around, just in case - put it on easily this afternoon, almost got it perfectly but at 98.5% - missed 2 spots with tiny dust trapped, but, who's going to notice it when device is powered on - only notice it when screen is dark/blank or powered off. Here's what they look like now.
Hi,
Regarding the screen protector, someone has used this "full screen" version?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/SDTEK-Moto...ns&keywords=SDTEK+Motorola+Moto+G6+Plus&psc=1
The other option is the "classic" glass:

I like to know the difference.

The first one has the cutoff around the earpiece, speaker & front camera openings, covered the front of the smartphone all around (and it's priced higher) ... should be precision cut - careful alignment & placement when installing is a must.
The second one is easier for them to produce with the simple cut out, and "could" leave some of the digitizer/screen area "less" protected ... installation is basically the same but a very slight misaligned placement should still be fine during the installation process. It's similar to the one that I just installed yesterday - with a protective bumper case over it, the odds of scratching or damaging the Gorilla glass is still fairly low. Plus, I make it a habit to always order an extra spare & set it aside, just in case - the old one that I used on the Nexus 5X has a lifetime & free replacement warranty, no questions asked - just proof of it being worn/damaged & they quickly mail a new one at no charge (worth paying a little more for those brands upfront).
On a side note, this Moto G6 ... is "cute" and slim, feel "small" in the hand but with the 5.7" widescreen ratio, is very nice for the price level - too slippery to use without a case when holding it (especially with the glass back.)

The full one has the black border on it, which also covers up the works motorola which I like...here is a pic of my wifes phone with the screen protector and an amazon case
Screen Protector x2 $6.98: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2X-ZenTech...ector-Guard-For-Motorola-Moto-G6/332666677282
Case $8.98 : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B4YHKTP
My Amazon G6 case arrived, and it came also with a clip-on face plate for belt carry ... something that is "nice" but I dislike, the hardware/spring doesn't look solid & could break - won't be nice to drop this at a height of several feet, unlike using one of those bulky Otterbox. Not going to use it - I either carry mine in a pocket or otherwise, use a BDU-style canvas pouch (in black).
Here are pictures of the G6, it's in the middle, for comparison with the Nexus 6P (Huawei) and the (LG) Nexus 5X (without the same style protective case) "naked" on the right for comparison.
The HD glass protector do leave a little area around the front surface of the G6 without "coverage" - dusts & lints, dirts could collect around the rim of the case/frame, so a periodic cleaning will be necessary, see the 2 close-up pictures.
We also have the old Motorola Nexus 6 and that's "big" compared to these - the G6 is about the same size as my dual-sim Huawei Honor 5X which I use for travel - the Moto G6 is very comfortable & feel solid being held in one hand with the case, providing a non-slippery hold ... and, it slide right into my old canvas belt pouch for "rough" day-to-day carry outside.

Keep in mind the full ones only have the adhesive around the outer edges and can pop off easily if you don't have on a case that protects the edges. But at the cost, they last a long while in my experience and look great!

For every phone I buy a Spigen case. I also bought for Moto G6 and I was not disappointed.
At the time of this post, I'm running original day 1 US model firmware (1.15.617.4), and prices were $14 for Ringke case, $8 for 3-pack TGSP, and $7.50 for the other cheap TPU case I mention a few times).
Case: Ringke Fusion-X
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07F2ZNFKZ/
TGSP: Mr. Shield 3-Pack (out of stock. may try another later, but it's definitely good enough for me)
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D3LGZ7P/
CASE:
Case is really rugged without adding much bulk. Surprisingly slim even compared to the cheapo clear TPU case I also bought to try (Coohasisee brand). I like the design, leaves a nice view of the back of the phone. Cutouts are super precise and the edges/angles/design are really clean and sharp. The clear part of the case even has protective film on both sides that you peel yourself, making sure it's in perfect condition when you get it.
100% honestly, I think the cheap TPU case's corners have better cushioning, but that's a non-issue for me since I never drop my phones. While the cheaper case seems to actually have some cushioning, the Ringke appears to, but IMHO the case seems too solid to actually cushion from drops on the corners.
Funnily enough, using a case actually seems to make using the digital volume/power buttons more reliable. Without a case (or with the official HTC free case that comes with the phone), I would often mistakenly hit the power button without actually touching it. If my thumb/finger was just below the power button while I was handling the phone, it could accidentally trigger a power button press. Doesn't happen whenever I have a case on though. Edge sense also works great. Strangely, without a case, edge sense would go nuts - sometimes the lightest squeeze would start triggering edge sense while death grips wouldn't be enough. I dunno, I think maybe it was registering part of my hand (palm or fingertips) touching the edges of the screen while squeezing? Honestly it makes no sense to me. With the case though, it's as reliable as my U11 (I have it set to short squeeze camera, long squeeze flashlight). Double tapping is just... different. I have to tap differently. But truthfully, I really don't use double tap actions at all (yet).
TGSP:
Good enough for me. No bubbles, and edges stick down perfectly. Not lifting up at all like with my U11. Has good oleophobic coating. Only problem is I think it's like a fraction of a millimeter too narrow. I have the right side stuck PERFECTLY in line, and a very tiny bit of the left side isn't covered (all in terms of viewable area). I'm talking the width of maybe 3-4 hairs. Shame, because if the right side is stuck this perfectly, they could afford making it a bit wider and still not worry about the edges lifting. It's good enough for me though that I don't think I'm even going to try another unless it gets scratched or chipped. I installed it with absolutely no dust and lined up perfectly, so I don't feel like doing it again. Plus, I have 2 more since it was a 3-pack lol.
PICTURES!! Pics are very high resolution. Last 4 pics show the TGSP.
https://imgur.com/a/23wpLKe
- Note, this isn't my permanent phone yet. Still using my U11 until TWRP and a nice ROM gets released. I still need to run Zelda A Link To The Past on an emulator and splice a new wallpaper with the new 1440x2880 resolution. My home screen normally looks much sweeter than the default Nova layout. =)
Attached some pics to the thread, but all pics I took are in the IMGUR link above.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I do search and the U12+ forums are pretty slow so far (but hopefully will get momentum soon, yay alpha TWRP builds!) and I felt like a new thread would be more fitting for a showing a decent case AND tempered glass setup that actually works pretty well. Your thread was a case compilation, which btw I have been following since before I even received the phone, but most people wouldn't glance at the topics expecting to see anything about TGSP's. I didn't see much on all the threads about decent tempered glass, especially one where the case doesn't wreck it, so I thought this post might help. I know the rules and do search. My post count is so low, despite being a member since 2006, because I usually search and find my answers instead of blindly asking, or I just tend to post what I think is useful stuff. Also, I lurk XDA much more than I post, and don't have much time to spend posting.
Speaking of which, I'll take this time to thank you for all your contributions too. Really, your firmware compilation threads and other contributions have been invaluable. I can see after what happened in your U11 firmware thread why you would be frustrated, but just believe me that I'm not as dumb as most ppl on the interwebs. q=D
PS: I copied/posted in your thread anyway, in case it might help anyone there. =)

It really isn't that bulky, especially compared to a "slim TPU" case. Maybe these photos might help. I happened to have a portable battery pack within reach that can hopefully help kind of gauge the size difference between cases / no case. Also, I since stuck a spigen kickstand on the Ringke Fusion-X case, FYI, so that's not normally there.
If you like the design and still want to show the nice back of the phone, I can't recommend it more highly.

I just got this same Rinke case with the same Spigen kickstand setup and like it very much except double tap sides does not work good. Using Cleanslate kernel improves all sensitivity on edge sense and the buttons but not so much for double tap sides. Great set up otherwise. Thanks for sharing.
Have this. Volume up key is finicky, otherwise I love it. I use the Orzero glass screen protector and it is almost perfectly flush.
I have the Ringke case too.. My only concern is the double tap function that is hard to activate, everything else is good, even the short/long squeeze
