Regardless if there is one or not seeing how your "searching" abilities are inadequate you wouldnt be able to find the phone or the countless threads or post discussing this same EXACT topic

Seriously, hearing people constantly ***** about people not searching is way more annoying than the people who didn't search in the first place. Is this forum so God Damn cluttered that you couldn't just help the guy and nicely remind him of the search function. Take you condescending bull**** elsewhere, we're all stocked up here.

Well I think some of us just would prefer this site not devolve into a wasteland of repeated OMG questions like howardforums. Search is an amazing thing here - I can't think of the last time I couldn't find the answer I needed or another thread already discussing the topic by searching.

I don't disagree at all, I'm all for reminding folks to use search. The condescension is the problem. I love new members, and I want new members to become old members. If we **** down their necks right off the bat they will stop coming.
Edit: I also realize the OP is not a new member. I was just speaking in generalities.

data throttling removed

Was wondering if any one has tried this mod
? it says has worked on many models.or know of a way for sensation owners to do this. If so please post any feedback

And again, I thought this thread had an answer to the throttling.. I showed the thread title to another person and they said "did he figure out how to fix it?".
I'd imagine I'm not the only one that thought this thread had a fix.

Even if there was some1 out there who removed throttling they wont tell.. for what so T-Mobile can patch it... And it's network controlled

Can HTC Inspire 4G Work on Boost Mobile?

i read a thread here that said you cant get the htc inspire 4g on boost mobile becuz of different networks. but the inspire 4g and boost mobile are both cdma capable. so why cant i use the inspire on boost if theyre both cdma?

The Inspire is not CDMA compatible. It has WCDMA for data and thats it. Also CDMA and GSM use different Tech for their signals. Please do a little research before opening new threads as I have seen you open a few that with questions that could have been answered by doing a google search

Wow, you must have the rarest Inspire/Desire HD in the world if yours has CDMA. Please do your research, the Inspire is GSM, the Boost is CDMA (or if it has a SIM, it would be iDEN).
Short answer, NO, you cannot use an Inspire on Boost Mobile's network.

In which way was I mocking? And now you're implying that because I replied to your question that was not to my "standards" I am unintelligent? Look here, this is the XDA forums, in which the "forums" mean an online public community. If you didn't want your effing question answered by the general public, which I am part of, why post it publicly? Secondly, like it was stated above, a simple Google search would have answered your question. Thirdly, don't you think this would have been better asked in the original thread that you mentioned instead of cluttering up our boards? Fourthly, you could have as easily contacted Boost Mobile support with your question as a opposed to "risking" getting answers from the community that is only trying to help you figure this out.

dont sweat it. anything you say to help Trapzz ends in him/her thinking that EVERYTHING you say is an insult.
apparently its because 'us americans' assume that people from another country (of which origin, Trapzz has never shared with us) would think similar to us.
sometimes there appears to be a language/culture barrier when dealing with Trapzz, other times, you would swear they are just trolling....
the best way to deal with Trapzz is ignore every thread they put up, because trust me, they will put up a ton of them for the same subject.

Remember the blackberry storm though it was cdma it used a Sims card with the verzion logo on it with the storm you can unlock it and use a tmobile or. Att Sims due to the fact that it had a Sims card slot.... If that was the case and boost had a Sims card just like verzion with the storm then Yes why not

Well you now know that trapzz is indeed from the USA. I believe the T-mobile and Boost Mobile gives it away. I just want to know with all the strict actions that the mods have put on the forum lately why this user is not banned. He/she violates just about EVERY rule out there for posting. How Do I Ensure My Inspire Isn't Emitting 3G?

i got my inspire 4g unlocked and working - finally! and i know it doesnt have 3G cuz its unlocked. but i want to make sure its not trying to connect to a 3G network and hence, drain my battery. is there a way to check that its not trying to capture a 3G connection?
also, how cna i check the web using 2G?

What network are you on? and just go to the browser and surf the net.

trapzz I told you in a previous post actually how to do it. It is the only way I know to stay on 2G and not use 3g. Remember the code *#*#4636#*#* in your phone dialer, then select "phone information" then set "Set preferred network type" to "GSM only".
You should be posting Questions in the Questions and Answers section and not the General section. If you don't start posting correctly the admin will stop you from posting at all. Just trying to give you a friendly warning.

You have been warned by plenty of people. I wont argue with you but will say you don't need handbook to tell you where to post. Its pretty easy to tell. The section named inspire Q & A should be all the direction you need.

I'm sure you watched the video and read the info when you first signed up correct? :thumbup:
Dev section is "supposed" to be a designated area where these mad wizards share their wonderful creations with us.
The post limit is intended to suppress the "I flashed your crappy ROM and it bricked my phone!!!" Newbie post. It doesn't always prevent that but...what are gonna do. Its basically for devs though. Questions, comments , general info all have there designated areas here...welcome check out the threads. Hope you enjoy your stay
