Help me pick a ROM, please - Touch Pro2 CDMA

I have a Verizon TP2. Right now I am running the January 2010 Verizon update (WinMo 6.5, Sense 2.1).
Verizon activated my SIM so that I can use global roaming, and I have read that some of the ROMs have problems with global data/roaming. I don't want to flash if it's going to cause a problem like that.
I'd appreciate your suggestions. Thanks

unfortunately it is all personal preference...here is how I see the two ROMs.
MightyROM is very solid. Not a lot of compatibility issues and it runs very smooth. I would say it has more stability and gives away a little bit of speed to the NRG.
EnergyROM is solid as well, it seems to load programs faster but doesn't seem as stable. I required more restarts (every other day), but everything just seems a little quicker on the NRG ROM.

JustHome vs. JustStable

I'm just wondering which of these roms you are using out of these two and why. And if your using the newest build one of the older ones. I've been trying for a while to decide but never do. Any feedback is appreciated.
depends on if you want to have wm6.1 or 6.5
it doesnt matter to me i just wanted people to tell me which one they liked best and why. and that would help figure out which one i wanted.
6.5 all the way. Why? Because its the hottest thing around. Finger friendly and doesnt look like crap compared to the horrible nastalgic 6.1!

It says in my signature. I just switched from V19 back to V3. Its been stable enough for me not to switch back to 6.1. Really theres a big difference in Juststable and Justhome, and thats in a good way. The only true noticeable draw back is about 5mb less in justhome!
justhome v3. v19 has issues with opera mini.

[ROM] MghtyMax 1.9 Hero

After messing around with about 5 or so different ROMs i found, what i think to be the fastest Hero ROM ever.
http://htcpedia.com/forum/showthread.php?t=918
It runs really well, and is very snappy.
For myt3g, it needs the blurry fix, which he provides also... but after that... no bugs whatsoever. I am running this on a class4 sandisk 4gb flash, with 512 ext4 and 192 swap. awesome!
32A Or 32B ??
32B, since its for the MT3G/G1
32B. i am loving it!
Did he fix the boot screen so it doesn't scream Mightmax at you? I can't have that screaming at me at a client meeting
Faster than MLIGN-HeroV2.5.5?
Yes, better without screaming MightyMax! on boot

For my work well on a Vodafone 32b, only many app crash without apparent reason, any solution for it?
-CarMode
-FonMaps
-Buka
-SU File Manager & Terminal
And many others apps can't work on this ROM
Can you solve this feature?
And one more question, is possible base this ROM on Android 1.6? I think it can work more fast with Donut, because it is more optimized for 32b devices.
Wow!!!
I was a little skeptical about trying a ROM from a dev from another site, but man I'm glad I did. This thing is incredible! I've only been using it for about 5 hours but I think this just shut the Hero ROM game down! I made a 192MB swap partition with 80 swappiness, and clocked the CPU to 384-528. No force closes, no reboots, apps spring open, the desktop screens scroll fluidly, apps pop open immediately, very fast keyboard, so far this seems fast as vanilla Android! So far my only complaint is there is no weather on the flip clock for some reason. I have been using "Weather Widget - Donate" from the Market instead. Oh, and the Mighty Max audio clip during start up is a little annoying, but definitely not a deal breaker. Try it, trust me!
How fast? Good enough??
Personally I don't think talking about the word fast any more an issue for 32A Magic. I have been trying most of 32B Hero ROMs and there is noting significant I say about them on my 32A. Every Hero ROM looks frikin fast to me now.
I believe is that how much of battery would run along on a single charge that what we should address on Hero ROMS now. Drizzy's Blur 1.5.7 Hero ROM last long fine. After all its CyanogenMod 4.1.999 is that I can say the best.

Well I can say that with 32B devices performance typically varies greatly with different ROMs. So far I'm loving this on my 32B sapphire. Enjoy that extra RAM, show off .

This ROM is posted here on xda in the dream forum -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=570700
I flashed it last night - 32b - and I have to say, I'm impressed and surprised. This one is running really smooth - and very responsive. "Best" one I've tried yet.
Where is this guy, and why is he not active in XDA?!
This is BY FAR the best Hero ROM i have ever tried... WOW!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING! (I could kiss you! haha)
MightyMax, I could kiss you too!
One question: Has anyone tried straining from the default swap settings, maybe enabling CC and backing_swap? If so, please post your results.
Personally I find this ROM flying, and even Benchmark Pi is FASTER than with CyanogenMod, but I am wondering what we could get by playing around with CompCache... In the meantime, I'm going to try and tweak it, and be sure to post results back here.

Well as pbaird mentioned in the post before yours he is active on XDA, in the Dream section. He goes by the name of mghtyred. After scanning through that thread I know he dropped Compache because it was causing problems. LS has always seemed faster to me anyway.

[ROM] [MT3G Fender, LE,1.2] ported_KiNgxKxlick-AOSP21-v19

Using dsixda's rom kitchen and with some trial and error with a few other roms I ran into some luck with KiNgxKxlicK AOSP 2.1.
What doesn't work:
So far, nothing.
Anything else that we might discover
What this does have:
Multitouch
Live Wallpapers
Launcher 2
Working Youtube
Wi-Fi/Bluetooth
Requirements
A rooted MyTouch 1.2 device (duh!)
SDCARD with fat/swap/ext3 partition (not sure if 2 or 4 works... haven't tested. Let me know)
A complete wipe (dalvik-cache, data, ext partiton)
I'm not much of a developer but I think that this is running pretty smooth. But I'll let you be the judge. And if you can improve upon it... even better!
Click the disclaimer below to download.
Enjoy!

If it's for FENDER or MYTOUCH LE we don't really have much choice in SPL or radio. So adding that information would be a bit redundant at this point.

I haven't had any stability problems with SuperD. Does AOSP21 mean it's considered a 2.1 rom and not a 1.6 rom with 2.1 portions?
Is it better that the stokes port? That was nice but all and all rather slow. I haven't messed around with ext before -- you can format for that via Ras Recovery, right?

I think so actually. I haven't had it sitting on my phone for long. Right now I'm testing an eris port which seems to be just as smooth plus it has SenseUI.
Stay tuned!
running super D, downloading this now.
anyone have swype working on this?
I'm thinking about flashing this one - does one actually need to have their SD card partitioned? I'd rather not go the route of partitioning my SD card if I don't have to, I really think that this device has plenty of memory and doesn't need the card partitioning stuff.
Would you say this is better than the CM port that was on here a few days ago? I've been running that for like 3 days now and haven't had any issues.
2.1 is fairly tempting though....

If someone can port this, lets get it optimized and addicted to steroids before a release. The MTSlide ports are laggy as hell after a days work, but this looks promising.
Last time devs were working on the pulse roms they quit because of things that they would fix broke other things. Soon it became something like "Fixed wifi, but broke BT" kinda thing. Lets hope this is better!
Good luck guys, excited!

I agree. That's not msm7200 turbo performance. If we get this to boot completely, we'll see. Not too much work left for that.
Here is a link for a build of mine (based on Paul's r6, so it is odexed unfortunately, because r4 was in a worse mess (seperated ramdisk)) that shows the t-mobile pulse logo with the pink circle (boot screen) but simply loops that animation, and gets stuck on a libaudio.so related problem. CM .33 kernel, compiled for this (should technically have same md5 as the one in test4). Help me out devs. This isn't signed (ignore the filename), I assume that anyone who is going to work on this at least knows how to sign a file
http://www.mediafire.com/?wmnoyzmmcdt
Good Luck to anyone who helps me. I'll continue tomorrow or on the weekend, I have a math test to study for.
looks pretty good considering its a 192mb ram phone, (though i thought it was 128mb)
A member of TMo staff (UK) confirmed the RAM/ROM as:
SDRAM with 128 MB
Flash EEPROM ROM with 256 MBI was sooo gonna get this until I saw the 256MB… will this have the same trouble as the G1 with future updates [i know 1.6 fits]Anyone know the partition size od the /system on the pulse?
