Has anyone gotten launcher2 to work in the new dc roms? if so, how?
Did you search? My guess would be no...
I did search, unless I'm using the wrong keywords...
All I got was launcher2 for DamageControl v1
Hey mate, let the tool do all the work.
Example. You are looking for info on the N1 Launcher/launcher2 and the CDMA Hero, more specifically the DamageControl2 ROM series.
I clicked the search icon on the forms header, and typed in
launcher2 CDMA Hero
Just like that. The results will AMAZE you.

So it seems that some of the clocks in the diamond themes result in nothing but zeroes (0000) on the Fuze and TP from what I have read. Unless I missed a post, there has not been a solution posted as of yet.
If you have a clock that is working on your device after TF3D customization, especially a flip clock, please post a link in this thread.
Looks like there are subtle differences in TF3D themes between Diamond/Raphael.
Mods please delete if this thread is not necessary.
Tnx!
Has anyone been able to find a flip clock for the Fuze yet? I know there is one out for the Sprint touch pro.
check this post:

Install the theme it directs you to and the flip clock comes to life.
Yea, I did install that one and it looks great. The only problem is, the 3dconfig slows down touch flo 3d on the Fuze pretty bad. Looking for an alternative by using the manila customizer. Thanks for the reply.
Hmmm.... I'm not noticing my Fuze being any slower than it was stock from AT&T to be honest....
My only problem with that theme is all the text under my start menu is too dark to read now. Need to remember how to fix that
I know many people have seen a difference. After awhile, it seemed ok until I un-installed it back to the stock theme. Then I saw the difference. Ohwell, I just thought there was a cab floating around that only gave the flip clock. Thanks again.
Does anyone know if there's any way to get The hero Widgets (specifically the sms / email shortcuts with the unread count) to show on the standard android homescreen on a hero rom?

search !!
It's not possible
yeah, cheers for that, maybe if you'd read the post before feeling superior and jumping down my throat you'd have realised that that post is about displaying the hero widgets in a standard android rom, which isn't possible as they rely on the hero framework etc.
My question is about using the hero widgets on the standard android homescreen in a hero rom, which should / may be possible because the dependancies are there even though rosie isn't running.
Decist: Doubt it's possible. I remember reading somewhere that the Hero widgets require Rosie.
But they are still dependent on touchflo. No touchflo no Hero widgets as it right now.

okie dokie, I was hopeful that there was a shared dependancy or something that meant you could run the widgets without actually running the whole touchflo experience.
Cheers
Hi,
I've tried a few Hero ROMS on my UK Vodafone HTC Magic with varying success, but the three main features I like on the HERO that are missing from the Magic are:
* Searchable calendar - no search feature on the Magic but searchable on the Hero
* Intelligent dialler - dial pad on Magic just does numbers, on Hero you can select contacts by using the dial pad
* Keyboard - the HTC_IME keyboard on the Hero is far superior.
I have found and successfully installed the HTC_IME keyboard on the Magic, and it's great. Can anybody help with instructions on how to get the dialler and calendar onto a Magic using .apk files ? I tried using the .apk files from the Hero ROM package but the Magic won't allow me to install them. Do they need to be cracked / patched ?
Thanks in advance.

You need to replace the android core with the HTC modified one...not just a matter of adding apk files.

That was a big fail lol
Hi. I have a quick question. Where might I find the HTC keyboard? I had SenseUI flashed to my G1 and loved the keyboard. Now I have the Magic. I don't want to flash but would love the better keyboard.
Also, @op, look for SpellDial in the market. Its an ok replacement for the HTC dialer.
I have found a great lite rom that i like, however it has Manila 2.1 and i like the Sense 2.1 instead. It will not allow me to add sense 2.1 and since manilla is cooked in I cannot delete it. Any suggestions?
bump... please??
modz, my appologies in the miscatagorization of this thread.
I guess since no one has any input, modz can close the thread also.
I used to have a HTC Tilt and had SPB installed, effed up the screen on it and decided to get a HTC Pure. Very happy with it so far but the tech in me wants to change it up a bit.
I was wondering if there is a single thread like the one for SPB that has all the themes in it. or do I have to just search one by one. Also, which TF3d thems can I use? I found some online that didnt designate what OS it goes with so should it matter?
Any and all help is appreciated.
thanks.

are you still running the stock rom? if so there are not a whole lot of themes for it. think i found 2 or 3. flashed to a 2.5 rom and there are alot more themes for it. just gotta use that search button.
I agree, I am using the stock version of HTC Pure, tried finding themes which support the TF3D theme but didn't find any. There are themes though for Windows Mobile 6.5 which do make a difference though.
Check out the Blackstone Touch HD theme section for good themes to use on the PUre
Specifically you are looking for themes diesignated Manilla 2.1
Manilla 2.5 has 3 additonal program launcher slots and won't work.
