can anyone port over the iPhone's ipcalc program, or make one that looks good and has the functionality?
http://www.addressplus.net/iphone/ipcalc/
or maybe make a nice mobile version of this??
http://www.radmin.com/products/utilities/ipcalculator.php
I am in school for networking and a good finger-friendly and powerful ipcalc for my phone would be extremely useful.
Oh, this would be for WM6.5.5 and a WVGA resolution.
Bump, anyone? I really wish I knew how to program.

Cool, but Professional is for PDA device, so we have to use virtual cursor? But this means we can use GPS software ^^
If it 's like the StarTrak one, then it 'll be awesome...i've got both devices and cant await...
most of my SmartphoneApps works well on Startrak Pro,the FakeCursor-Solution works well, the Pro-Os kicks my Phone into a NewWorld...
Only missing my Good 'ol Homescreen, have to familarifari with this new TodayOne...
Awesome!
Maybe I won't need to change my Tornado
Sounds great! I'd love to see it!
WOW!!!Its a great news!!!
GOOD LUCK TO THE DEVELOPERS!!!
Yes! Good luck to the cookers but I wont celebrate until I see the rom posted here

Hi howya!?
Your expertise and service maybe needed here, again soon!!
Take care & enjoy life.
When will it release,i am looking forward to it...
I'm not really seeing why anyone wants Pro on a smartphone.
There is a reason Pro only comes on touchscreen devices - because it is completely impractical on a non-touchscreen device. For one thing, keyboard shortcuts do NOT work. I don't know about most people, but I am quite accustomed to accessing menu options using the number keys. With Pro, you're forced to use the dpad.
Many smartphone apps also do not work in Pro, or if they work, are not usable.
It's cool as a "proof of concept", but for usability, it sucks. Completely impractical. It's about as useful as a touchscreen phone with a broken touchscreen.
what about the treo 750 it comes with pro and ppl love it i've used it my self and i have no problems what so ever, the lack of touchscreen dosnt even bother me it works like charm
Treo 750 has a touchscreen.
No manufacturer would be crazy enough to put Pro on a non-touchscreen device. It could have been done as far back as WM2003.
What would all our Learned friends Menneisyys, Bulldog, Mr Zach, Kramerica2 et al buy or upgrade to.
After using the original Pocket PC and the the Universal I'm at loss of what to get.
Functional like the Universl with the business functionality and keyboard and the decent sized screen All the latest offerings are aimed at a totally different market. What about a HTC P6500?
TV out would also be useful.
Your advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
calli
It´s hard for Uni users to decide what´s next....
I don´t think any model can called a Uni succesor by now, seems like HTC and others forgot about this model.
Yes you can have touch pro with a keyboard and nice but the screen size is terrible! on other side you have the G1 with a promisor OS but very limitated by now; also the HD that I think it´s the best candidate for renew with a very nice screen and quiality and speed, design. Only bad point no keyboard...
Good luck

Yep you are right. Maybe we will have to resort to the HD with a foldaway keyboard. Pity it does not have TV out for Powerpoint presentations! No one seems certain on memory 256 or 1 GIG?
Thanks calli
Hi,
Ive been using the texas intruments scientific calculator emulator that was developed in 2003 for a while now, and i was wondering if anyone knew of a better version that does the same thing,
this one is horribly outdated and should be redeveloped.
http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/309/30978.html
I can only have the calcuator skin in qvga and it is a pain to see the buttons, and looks like crap. how im i supposed to show this off?! lol.
any info appreciated
Hello, i don't know if LG gm730 is released, but if it is, try get the S-class User interface and port for the others phones, like the touchflo and the motosurf ui, please if anyone do that job, the xda comunity will be happy. thanks
Yes, it has been released. But i'm not sure if it's a reason to port this interface. It is not fast and i don't think it is comfortable to use it. And by the way, seem's that lg uses other classes for screen rotation and etc, because, i cannot make my LG rotate screen using HTC emulation. By the way if there is someone, who installed G-sensor or something like this, and it works?
I am looking to do some windows 8 development, as you may know they ethos is "touch first".
There is a built in simulator that i can use in Visual Studio but i would prefer to use some real hardware.
I currently own a Galaxy note, and was wondering if could use that as an input device.
Preferably i would like to be able to clone my desktop to my note and be able to control it there via multitouch.
If this is not possible, i would settle for the ability to simply use it as a multitouch tablet.
Anyone know how i could go about this?
Thanks,
Xyis
Well the closest app that does what you are looking for is:
Win8 Metro TestBed from Splashtop
it's a little pricy but it works pretty well.
Maybe it can help you to learn how it works.
Hope you develop a free alternative xD
Dave
Sounds like just what i was after and i dont mind the price too much, but my device is not supported and it sounds like it currently runs quite slow. Will definitely keep my eye on it though.
Thanks for the suggestion.
+1
