Well, Sunday afternoon, wife and kids away so I went on with some icons in the sony erirsson font. When you rooted your phone and use this font as your default it looks great on your phone...nevertheless worth sharing. Here some screens in use:
Here are the white PNG icons in Sony Font containing the following:
Applications: GPS, Music, Pictures, Tools, Video, Weather
Homescreen: Dial, SMS, Mail, Shop, Twitter, Web
Games: Action, Arcade, Cards, Puzzle, Race, Sport
Using Smart Shortcuts you can use these icons as your folder icon and make shortcuts on your screens, when you tap them a folder opens with the chosen applications you chose making the folder in Smart Shortcuts.
If you are using Desktop Visualizer these icons are 100x100 png, they are a bit smaller in words of course as I went of the edge a bit.
They look a bit blurry on the screenshots, but that's because I cropped the screenshot png which already is a small file ofcourse. On your telephone it looks sharp as a razorblade ;-)
EDIT: The best thing is of course when your wallpaper is not scrollable (setting in ADW). For that I made 9 wallpapers which looks good with those icons. 3 like in the screenshot and another 6. Also added as attechment. They are 490x854 photo's pasted in a 960x854 background. Just swipe them to maximum and there you go Watch out, there are 2 nsfw pictures in it as well. Herewith an overview of all wallpapers, obviously as i explained you won't see the white parts, it is necessary to get a perfect single wallpaper (unscrollable) for all your screens. For the first two when you want to add the text icons exactly in the squares, make sure you have selected in adw settings, 5 coulomns and 6 rows, than it will fit when using smart shortcuts, this app is free from the market.

added 9 single screen wallpapers for non scrollable use. That way you can make different pages using those icons.

Just download the program 'Desktop Visualiser' it is not available in the market for the X10, but you can find the .APK on this site. That program is very simple to use, no explaination needed.
Also, extremely nice backgrounds, I already have extremely similar icons (Tallmin: http://www.droid-den.com/android-guides/android-tallmin-icon-set), so most likely won't be using them, but almost certainatly will make use of the backgrounds!

Thank you, nice to hear people like them. Spent 4 hours on it to find wall papers which will fit the icons as a glove. Personally I use them with SMART SHORTCUTS, as desktop visualizer and my phone are not friends, so smart shortcuts folders....that is what you see in the screens.
It is very easy to install. Read the first post and it will work. If you have questions or need help, just post a reply and people will help you...that is the great thing from this community.

I've sorta been using your icons (sorta because i like images ) and trying a new dual screen type approach with sophisticated sleek words and minimal view on one home screen with the big colourful images on another home screen. Havent gotten it to look 100% yet as its very hard to get it all to fit nicely with a wallpaper, but when I do i'll post on the desktop thread!
p.s. awesome walls wish i could keep one in particular as my wally but the girlfriend will castrate me

I put that wallpaper on my girlfriend's phone because I was bored... she slapped me
Well, as I am also a photographer and have my studio by the house my wife is used to some girls nudity, actually she is more than once my model, artistic naked photos are great,
I dont like the pornographic pictures, but artistic naked like the third screenshot, which happens to be set as my default screen, is really something I like....
I also can't understand why people are having problems by such an innocent picture like the black/white behind picture I posted above, the great thing by these pictures is that you are not seeing anything pornographic at all...
I have had several discussions already about this subject, I always say, if you like it, use it, if you dont like it grab another background...
So, convince your girl you are just an art lover....

yer same here my battery goes down fast with the live wallpapers i tried lowering the display and still it drops im using one called thunderstorm best i find so far free and paid version there but im gonna go back as well to plain wallpaper not worth the battery drain
my battery is suprisingly good. i lose maybe 10 percent every 5 hours or so. but as for wallpapers, im using the one with the asian girl cleaning the screen.
i get a bit of lag now and then but it fixes itself after a few seconds and runs fine after that. usually happens after closing a game or sometimes facebook app.
plus the girl looks like my gf which she found hilarious haha
any sugestions to dl good lws??

I want to dive into developing widgets because of the lack of them. Chameleon says we can use the source of their widgets.
So I wanted to make a EU style datetime widget but i cannot find the source of any widget except for an empty template.
There are links to the widgets landing pages but that only gives me the source of index.html. And I think I need more than just that.
Anyone knows more about it?
I published my question and then i thought that maybe i am posting in the wrong forum. If so, please Mod, teleport it to the right one.

Almost all the neccessary files are linked in the index.html; you can find all the stylesheets and javascript files there. Also, you know there is a manifest.xml-file in the template-folder, so maybe you can find that by adding /manifest.xml to the url. (don't know if it works!)

I disagree and think it was in poor taste to post that in this thread. The fact that they opened up HTML5 widget development that actually works well is awesome. I'm working on a few widgets myself and a starter kit that doesn't suck (the one they provide is nauseating to a js dev).

Needs a decent calendar widget (needs similar functionality to GO Calendar, I haven't found better yet) and a News Republic widget before I'd consider purchase.
Also I hear custom wallpapers aren't supported?

You can use any wallpaper you like - just send it to Chameleon Launcher from the Gallery. No live wallpapers though.

Custom wallpapers are supported. Just share any image to Chameleon App.
I've been playing around with a Chameleon widget that displays unread emails from an IMAP account. It uses PHP (with the IMAP extension) to fetch and process the email headers on the server, which works nicely but is less than secure unless using SSL (which I am), since the email account credentials have to be sent to the PHP script in plain text.
I'll admit that I've had very little experience writing for Android--most of my recent work has been with Javascript and PHP. I seem to recall being told at some point that it would be either difficult or impossible to fetch email data from the native Android email app to use in an HTML5 widget platform like Chameleon. Is that the case? I'd prefer to get the data from the local device, particularly because I need to support Exchange.
If you've got more experience with Android's bowels than I do, can you confirm (or unconfirm) the information I'd been told? Is there a practical way to access the email files with Javascript?

I tried it for 10mins and I think it sucked a lot on my Nexus 7, I think all the free ones are better I can see why it is paid but 10$ is kill.
Also I am surpsised we are allowing a PAID app to be supported on XDA we should delete this thread
I have tried 3 of the best launchers around: APEX, NOVA and the brand new version of ADW (could not try CHAMELEON as there is no free trial).
With all of them I have the same problem: when i choose the wallpaper, it is not set properly, only the center portion of it is diplayed.
This does not happen with Touch UI.
Any one knows why and if there's a solution?

Yea. Same thing here. That's the case with all TouchWiz devices. Nova had some advanced option to center the wallpaper correctly but this is missing in the newer builds. So I sent a mail to the Nova developer... no reply. That was like more than a month ago.
It is correctly centered if you first launch TouchWiz and then Nova. So there must be a workaround.

what do you mean with your last sentence?
I was actually planning to freeze TW not to have it running in the backgroud...
And I guess I will have to root to be able to add widgets with drag and drop
By launching TouchWiz first and then Nova the wallpaper is set correctly. However, this is no real workaround since as you said, you want a replacement for TouchWiz and do not want to launch it.
What I wanted to say is that there seems to be a workaround possible that you would have to write into Nova... but since we are no developers we are stuck.

have tried go launcher hd for tablets and no wallpaper issue... pity it's a too basic launcher...
The wallpaper has to be 1280X800. if not, it wont center. that what happened to me and i figured it out. try it and you will see what i mean. or you can look at the pre installed wallpapers, all of them are 1280X800.

oh come on this is so old fashioned...
there's a resize feature in android when choosing a wallpaper to avoid the burden of resizing/cropping the picture myself: with some launcher it works (TW, stock and go launcher hd) with some it doesn't... so the problem is in the launcher

Multi Picture Live Wallpaper is a great way to make sure your images fit the way you want them to on the screen, despite the resolution of the photo. Just set it to one picture, one screen, stretch to fit, and you will be a happy camper.
does anyone know what folder the stock wallpapers reside? I cannot find them using My Files or ES File Explorer.....

oh, and I wanted to use them with Simple Image Wallpaper Free (lets you use any wallpaper and not hve to worry about size)...

Thank you for this suggestion. This trick fills in the whole screen any image you choose, no mater it's static or live. I've got Apex L installed on my GN10.1 and it works really fine.

Oh my god. Thank you so much. I've been trying to properly fit a wallpaper on my homescreen for AGES. you are the best.
Use "Photo Wall" live wallpaper
Maybe it was added with the JellyBean update because I don't remember seeing Photo Wall before. But you can just select one picture from the gallery and no more weird wallpaper problems.
I like Simple Image Wallpaper Pro because it has some really helpful features for me but it's good Samsung put a workaround right into the tablet without using a 3rd party solution.

The app has a combination of analogs and digital clocks and several sizes to combine with other widgets.

I've been trying to have an analog/digital watchface with the "custom watch for smartwatch" app. That app needs to be updated for the new firmware. Now, if you can make this one, then I will use your paid app instead. See attached images. The last one should show how the digital "lcd" windows fit over the dial design.
does not work correctly after the latest update, instead of minutes shows only the ones...e.g. instead 07:56 shows only 07: 6, the tenths of minutes are not visible. the face where the hours are big and the minutes are small...

We've just uploaded a new version of the app. (Give Google a hour or so to be live, new version is 1.0.3)
We've also updated our google play screenshots with ALL of our watchfaces.

I just purchased the app and saw the one I wanted. Thank you, that was fast and awesome. I see that you have to work on those PNG graphics a bit. I want to provide you with the illustrator file I created for these graphics so you can improve the regularity of the dial (and maybe use a monochromatic background for the LCD windows so it looks better in the standby mode). If you prefer a photoshop layered file instead let me know; I can post it here or via PM, as you prefer.

Thanks, now it works OK, great app.
I like the app just that the watchface is not uploading fast on the watch. After I click the watchface, and press power on watch, I get the vertical lines for refresh, a long time till the watchface appear.

date is one day behind
I saw the date changed today but it remains one day behind. To the developer: please look into this; it may have some to do with the timezone set for the date not matching the timezone on the phone/clock. The watch faces with dates are unusable until this is fixed!

Who are you to judge what is lame or not? everyone is free to have their own aesthetic preferences; a reasonable adult would refrain to insult other people's choices.
The developer is giving you the option to submit your own design. If you want something different work on it and post it. That's what I did.
