arm bag strip for desire to hold it while running - Desire Accessories

I found one at decathlon but it was too short to keep an htc or iphone.
Do u know where to find one on ebay?

Almost a year ago I bought the "Tune Belt AB8" somewhere from eBay for my HTC TyTNII. I think it was designed for the iPhone, but fitted nice for my TyTNII and guess what? It fits the Desire even better!!
The Tune Belt itself is perfect for the job!

http://www.jjbsports.com/run-365-armband-wallet/running/shop/fcp-product/10930
Bought this the other day from JJB, fits the desire perfectly but only without a headphone plugged in. With the headphone plugged in I have to keep the zip open a little on one side, works fine but wont keep the rain off.

Try the xtrememac sportwrap obviously for the IPOD or IPHONE, but the headphones plug in nicely and it fits perfectly. I can even use the screen whilst it is in the strap.
It is nice and comfortable as well. Surprised me a little really I usually dont like things on my arm when I am running. The only thing that did not seem to work perfectly is the little plastic clip that you can wind the extra flex onto it keept unwinding.

This one for the Nexus One ought to do the trick:

I'm looking for an arm strap/holder thing for running too, needs to be splash (rainproof). Anyone got any new ideas on this? The ones posted don't look too great.

How about this one?
Yes I know it's for a Nexus One, but they have very similiar specs and yes I know it aint waterproof, but what about the looks of it ?
Lol can't post links yet. Hmm way to find it: go to amazon.com and type: tuneband nexus one

Looks not bad. Would prefer a desire one that is definitely waterproof. I'm a jock and the weather in jockland is atrocious. Doesn't stop me running though..
Keep the suggestions coming.

Search "Iarmband" on google or ebay, it's an universal armband, it's ok for the nexus one, for iphone, for HD2 an other phone.

I dont think they are rainproof either.

I wish someone would make a Desire specific one.

Anything new on this subject?

I think I'll just need to go for the google Nexus armband that igadgetz make. I might be a bit tight but it's the closest thing to what I'm looking for. Shame as I would really have preferred an armband specific to the exact Desire dimensions.

Hi Roscoe141,
Thank you for contacting us. An armband for the HTC Desire will be available in August.

Don't compromise
I've found the best universal case. It's Krusell Orbit Flex . It has many options to use. Arm strap, bike holder, etc.

Which phone better then Tytn II ?

Hi,
Having used Tytn II for 6 months now, I guess there wont be any update regarding the display drivers from HTC, which is the main cause of annoyance. I am looking for suggestions/advice for buying something better then this PDA.
Thanks
If you don't mind leaving Windows, you should get a Nokia N96.
Or if you don't want to leave windows, you can get an HTC X7501. The only problem with that one is that its kinda big due to the 5" screen.

lol. That was an April fool's prank http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/news/show/88380/april-fools-nokia-ventures-into-new-territory-n97w-powered-by-windows-mobile.html
hey, i was kinda in the same boat as you, and ended up buying an n95-4 (the 8gb version). i used it for a few days, and now i'm back to my tilt. the biggest reasons are lack of html in ur emails, no qwerty, and no touchscreen. never knew how important those two are to me. wm also has a lot of free programs, and you dont have to deal with getting them signed (wtf is that??) anywayz, while we ***** and moan about lack of drivers, in all actuality, i think we have the best phone on the market...
omar
I think so too. I can't have a phone without qwerty or touchscreen. And no html in emails? What kinda cheap **** is that?

ya thats one thing i hate about the n95-4, it feels like any crappy cheap phone. its light, not very solidly built (search for slider issues on these phones) and the entire layout of the phone feels the same as any free nokia... now to sell this phone, anybody wanna buy a brand new n95-4
I'll trade you an unlocked Wing for it.
Why is everyone forgetting to mention the world famous iPhone!!!
LOL
ha lol, na thats aiight, i can sell it for $600, easy... bunch of nokia freaks out there
Yea the iphone is good if u dont mind losing your QWERTY and u want something simple. i would compare it to a sidekick on speed. But not a bad phone overall
WOW!!! I was being sarcastic.....
I bought a N95 8gb, really nice piece of gear (would be even better if I could learn how to use the damn thing) great media functions BUT!!!!! there is now a new learning curve, wheres the the stick??? there is no stick no qwerty I have gotten use to win mobile and and using a stylus and qwerty keyboard...on the plus side Movie playback and games are Smoooooooooooth
this is the one
That is a harris briefcase phone
I used to build these in 1986, I always liked the Fujisu phones better. If someone tried to carjack me I could hit them over the head with the handset then call the cops to let them know someone was lying in the road.

Wha..?
Desire S may NOT or will NOT receive native DOCK support
Did I make a mistake and tell everyone something they knew already?
This is what it looks like, though this isn't a DS and it doesn't need the HTC cradle, hence my wish to see if I can exploit an iPhone speaker system.

Here's one .htcstore.eu/cz/htc-cr-s470-detail-3V60000101.aspx from our local shop but I guess you can get it also from your HTC store.
Unfortunately not There is nothing like this in RO. I've found some traces of it in some online private stores but they just say "product available soon", no pictures, no price, no nothing.
In the official HTC store there is no dock either. I'v checked other official HTC sites as well and not even UK or DE has it (at least not listed on their official pages). Only some of the Central European countries have it (Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia).
I do hope it'll be added to the other countries as well, or I should speak with a friend in Poland to buy it for me
Do you guys mean these official ones?
CR S470 HTC Desire S USB Cradle
HTC Desire S Protector & JMB Cradle
HTC Desire S Battery & JMB Cradle
You guys might want to read the description.. Its quite confusing actually if it's really meant for Desire S.. Someone needs to contact them..
http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php/4469/htc-desire-s-desktop-cradle--cr-s470-
They have some mistakes on the site for sure. On the HTC Accessories site given by Skanob (first link), one can easily tell that the photo does not match a Desire S. The micro USB pin in that craddle is too much on the right side to fit the Desire S. We have it more to the center.
Also the description is confusing. In the title is said it's the craddle for Desire S and below in the description it is said:
FEATURES
• Sleek, stylish design
• Automatically launches the Sensation’s ‘Dock Mode.’
• Sync your PC/Laptop with your HTC Sensation
• Perfect viewing angle for your handset
• Simultaneous charge and sync capabilities.
• Micro USB connection
For me Desire s is NOT HTC Sensation. So untill I see one...
I'm not saying they don't exist. Just they are very hard to find at least in RO and not all official HTC sites have it...that's strange

yes I paid $8 the install, and if u every have a problem with it they reinstall for free
Maybe its silly of me, but the fact that they charge to install it bothers the hell out if me. The markup on these things is insane so they make good money on it and if i go to ATT, they put it on for free when i buy one from them. Now i know the Zagg is a little more involved in installing, but still, its a simple customer service.
My corporate AT&T store told me they don't install.

I dont Mind paying for the install, if u ever have a problem they install another one for free. just keep the receipt.
not to mention ATT store don't have the HD Version on the Dry install normal version
I'm unfamiliar with the HD line. What advantage does it have over the regular Zagg sold at AT&T?
how does the zagg hd compare to sgp series?
Not that i doubt you, but im not even showing the HD version available for the HOX on Zaggs site.
And from what i understand the HD line is supposed to have a closer feel to glass than the standard Zagg, so its less rubbery feeling. Also its not supposed to have the orange peel effect because its more clear.

Is it a dry application or the ones where you have to spray the liquid on the screen?

The spec list is pretty sweet - hopefully there's one with 32gb or expandable storage.
I'd like to see one as when I've seen the Galaxy Note out in public it just looks absolutely ridiculous in size... lol
according to HTC it has microsim card slot. I was thinking about getting the LG Optimus G but idk now, i may have to wait lol
That looks pretty good as well... lol
I want to wait and see what Google do with their Nexus range, I've heard that there are going to be a few different models to cater for the different type of users and they might be released by different manufacturers even.
I want my next phone to have the s4 pro.. LG or HTC who shall it be

I don't know which color I like better. The red w/black accents and the black w/red accents both look sick! I hope it's not just a Verizon exclusive when it comes to the states. How much you wanna bet the carriers will be charging $399 WITH a two year contract. "Oh it's 1080p so that's gonna cost an extra $100." Or they'll price it at $900 for off contract. That's one reason why I didn't want a 1080p phone to come out now. Carriers are gonna think it justifies a HUGE price increase.
You guys are all thinking about going to the Optimus G? Seems a lot of people are into the Optimus G. But LG? I don't know if I could buy an LG phone. The S4 Pro should be coming to other manufacturers phones also.
Another phone I have to work hard on getting. Each time I get a new phone there's a newer and better one coming out. I get the HTC inspire 4g and I see the one x. I get the one x and I see this x.x. oh well, happens everytime. The phone looks really nice and specs are great. Also jellybean!

As ridiculously sexy as this phone looks, I just don't upgrade my phone that often - I got the One X because I trusted it to last me through at least the 2 years of my AT&T contract.

This is what the one x+ should have been based on! I like but there are some things that won't convince me, 2020 mah battery for a 5 inch screen and 1080p ? battery is gonna last 2 hours of on screen time :/ HTC seems to never learn about how important batteries are, 5" is too big for me, also no onscreen buttons? and that glossy finish? no thanks

Philips DLP7210B/10 Qi Charging Pad

Hi guys, I received my Phillips Qi charging pad today - thought I'd give this one a try while I wait for the Orb and I didn't really like the look of the alternatives around.
It seems pretty well built, good quality. There is a slight rubbery feel to the top, but from what I've read, not rubbery enough to prevent the Nexus from slipping if you do have the stand at an angle. You can of course have it completely flat which seems a safer option. There is also an LED light on the top to indicate charging.
I haven't been able to try it out unfortunately as I do not have my Nexus as of yet And will not for a few weeks
HEREis a link to the official website. There are also a bunch of pictures there so you can get a better idea of what it is like. The picture below is from another user who has stated that their Nexus works no problem with the charging pad - and it is cheap too!

I just bought one too, I live in the Netherlands and Philips is a brand from the Netherlands, don't expect it to be good available worldwide! It sure is cheap. I live near one of their shops and I checked their stock from the website, they seem to have plenty. I'll go there tomorrow and get one for myself and maybe for a friend. I'll post my experience with it here when I get one.
