need help fixing casing scratches

Hey guys,
I recently bought a touch pro and need to fix some minor scratches in the casing. When i say the casing, I mean the area around the edges where the microphone is. Does anyone know what material this is made of and how it may have been painted? It looks like I just scratched part of the paint off, but it looks like a fairly complex paintjob. Does anyone have any ideas or know of any possible way I could get a new casing?

Yesterday i saw something pull away on my diamond's top right corner of navi keycap.
I don't use screen protector in that area.
The question is what is exactly? Please check the photo
1. Is this factory default protector? (If it is can I remove all??)
2. Is this a multitouch surface? (If it is can I fix with glue? What type a glue need to use?)

Yes It was factory default protector. It can be removed. I removed already but some glues left on it. but I hope it can be cleanable. Thank you skalunek and blacriderv.

It looks like factory anti scratch protection foil. You can remove it freely.

I got the same, it is just a film protector. You can remove it, but the pastic under the cover can be easily scratched, like mine now...

but it has some glue, and not a soft material its also not so flexible like screen protector. I have some suspections..

Wrong post - removed

I have removed this plastic / protector myself and am now looking to replace.
Any ideas where I can source one from. Have found hundreds of screen protectors but not the hardware keypad one.

try best skins ever. they have one that covers jusy about every area on the diamond. i use one and it works pretty well. great actually!

Samsung Captivate Housings?

Anyone know where I can purchase a second housing for the Captivate? I don't really need the screen or the backplate, but I'm looking for the grey part on the sides of the phone and on the back. (I'd like to paint them white haha)

Wouldn't it be easier to skin it white?

Those skins always seemed to work not right with my phones :\

Outer screen cracked

I just bought a Samsung Infuse today for $10, the phone works great, touchscreen and all, but the outer glass is cracked. I've found a few stores on eBay that sells the outer screen lens glass and tools for about $12 and didn't know if anyone here has tried replacing it, and if it was a pain to do?
It's either go down that route, or just slap a screen protector over it, hoping it'll seal the cracked glass more securely.

Wow, did you back over your phone with a truck? Anyway, is this the 12 min youtube video where the guy talks about using a heat gun, and he's prying the two screens apart with a nail filer?

Either of you go through with this yet? Would be curious to hear how it went...
I've looked around online, and everything I'm seeing says the digitizer, LCD, and outer glass are one fused together piece on the Infuse:

Even though eBay sellers have the Infuse outer glass for sale separately, it seems like pulling the glass off of the LCD/digitizer without destroying it is going to be extremely difficult. Even if you get the old glass off without damage, you still need to figure out how to attach the new glass to it.

Send it to Samsung and let them fix it...they will replace LCD and gorilla glass and shipping for $158.00 roughly

[Q]DVP Scratched Sceen Replacement

Hi, anyone scratch their phone with their keys / key-chain?
i had mine scratched but not to deep, it's visible if only i stand under the sun, or staring at my DVP diagonally,
are there any accesory to replace only the glass screen? or are there any kind of 'filler' which could 'hide' them..
It would be very cool if there is some kind of a filler :good:
