My dream is hulu on my Winmo device, But apparently this will not happen without their blessing.
But I do think that Joost would be more simple, They seem to be more open, and they already provide a app for the iphone http://www.joost.com/iphone/.
So what do you guys think? is it possible? If it is, Will someone please start working on it? and... Oh please, a QVGA version is a must, I've got a touch
Skyfire will run HULU
A dedicated app might be nice, but in the meantime Skyfire will stream HULU shows without much problem.
There is another possibilitie, you could use websites to stream video or audio.
Use something like http://www.todaypda.com/stream/ with CorePlayer.

or www.orb.com with mycast

I think you are making a mistake, orb does not support HULU

I cannot find a working copy of TCPMP for my HTC Pure. I tried using the one from my Fuze (VGA) which will not work with the Pure (WVGA). Can someone please help with a media player that works with WVGA screen that is free like TCPMP? Thanks!
What version did you use? Try using another one I have had no problems with TCPMP.
It was version 0.72 RC1
I deleted that cab, which I used for a long time, and downloaded a new one from the forum and it seems to work now. I don't know what the malfunction was.
It's something with WVGA and DirectDraw if I remember right, you have to set video mode to RawBuffer to get the video to work. RawBuffer looks like **** anyway so I either use CorePlayer to play non-encoded videos or the in-built media player which play encoded .mp4 videos beautifuly.

Download 0.71 RC from here...
http://www.hpcfactor.com/downloads/details.asp?r=B52F0876-B91F-4BB5-AC3F-C1AAAB1AC0D4
I couldn't originally use 0.72 as it crashed every time I ran it. That version worked a treat, but I've since shelled out for CorePlayer and that really is VERY good. Worth the money, in my opinion.
is there any way to run subtitles with coreplayer? or any other? divx mobile doesnt...and in my opinion isnt a good player..

No. Only tcpmp has subtitles support....and is pretty decent.

i have searched and searched but i have turned up nothing. i know there is no video editing app for android. Is there anyone out there working on one. im sorry but i love my nexus very much. the one thing i wish i could do is record a 720p video add my youtube intro to it and then upload it to youtube. without having to connect to my mac convert video to mp4 then edit it in imovie then export it the upload it to youtube. i have thought about buying an itouch just so i could use it as a camcorder that have video editing. as you can see im not asking for much. im sure there is plenty of people that wish androids could do this.
Main things i would love to see
video splicing
transitions
thats all. i wish i knew how to program for android because i think this would be an amazing thing to bring to android.
I would like to know as well.
I'd also like to have this.
I already post this question but it is still unanswered :'(

I was interested in this too... even if I could just rotate the videos I rrecord by 90 degrees, that would be a huge help!

Also interested in this.
I'm curious to know if something like ffmpeg could be used? And then add a GUI afterwards?
Is there any cloud based application that can be used since we have flash and maybe let us upload your data and edit it there and redownload?
Sense as if that might be the least intensive work-wose unless someone has a native app everyone seems to have missed.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Hey all, there's a thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=830781 to port the LG Optimus' video editing app over to the Nexus One - apparently it's mostly working on the Vibrant already.
