My Phone doesnt have a camera in programs + Cant connect 2pc

Hellp Im sad BEcause My Brand NEw Xda II Doesnt have camera in its programs
and im having problems connecting it to pc it is unreconised even though ive installed the cd

Have you tried a hard reset? All data will be lost so backup first if you have data. The camera software is in extended rom I think so it looks like your phone hasnt initialised the extended portion of rom. You should install activesync then soft reset the xda 2, plug it into the usb port, it should be recognised by the system as HTC device, activesync should then launch.

tried pressing the cam button ?
otherwise you can try looking in \windows for a file called camera.exe or something like that and run it

Problems with Activesync and 1.13 ROM?

I've recently upgraded my MDAc with the T-Mobile 1.13 ROM upgrade from their website.
Everything else seems to be fine except for ActiveSync, it's very tempremental- I managed to sync up data on the first connection but later that same day, I connected the device again and it doesn't seem to do anything except charge. I don't even see the AS tray icon either.
Anyone else had similar problems (and solutions for it)?

Had same type of problem myself, fix was to shut down Activesync on computer completly and deinstall, the reinstall active sync(3.8.0) connect device and give a new device name.

Still doesn't work- I remember actually trying re-installing AS on another machine with the same result.
Think I may have to go back to the 1.12 ROM.

Try hardresetting device sometimes it takes more than one go to get it stable!!!!!!!!!

I've tried about 5 hard resets now...
But it seems to work for the first couple of times then no more.
Another thing, I tried installing Card Export again and the icon for that also does not show up on the tray.
Anyone know if it is possible to downgrade to 1.12 with a shipped ROM?

If u get an AS connection that is stable then yes

Just to 'close' the topic; I went back to 1.12 ROM and all seems fine again.

Cannot Sync with Vista

Thanks for all your effort that I can avoid to throw away my DOpod900. recently I download

Radio 1.18.00
Protocol 42.56.P8
Also I install CE-STAR to be able to use T-Chinese & Japanese.
AT the beginning it's working well although hung-up quite frequetly but recently does not hung-up but I cannot sync with my Note-PC(Vista), I un-plug and plug many time but Activesync does not activate and even I re-boot the Dopod900 or re-boot my PC but still the same.
I cannot sunc with my PC for over 2 weeks and many schedule cannot confirm from Dopod900. please if anyone know how to fix this problem, please help !!!!

cingular 8125 help

i have a cingular 8125 running on TNT.19199 Series V.2 wm6.1 proffesional edition. i can not connect to my computer through activesync. ive tried to find an answer to my problem in different threads and forums but i cant. now i want to change my rom but i cannot connect through activesync. does anyone have any suggestions. im a newbie at this. Also how do you hard reset. which buttons do you let go of first and do you hard reset when the phone is on or off. i need help asap please. Thank you in advance

now, this seems like a kinda arrogant answer...but have ya tried taking the battery out, then puttin it back in and trying again? And have yah also tried to initiate a sync from the phone? By that I mean by going to programs and hitting the Activesync icon?

You can use the miniSD card to flash the rom if your 8125 can't connect to your computer.

I had this problem twice awhile back. I had to downgrade to activesync 4.2(still on microsofts website). After I got it to sync I reinstalled activesync 4.5 and everything worked. I wish I new what causes it but this should help. It's not TNT's ROM, it's a great ROM, it's the ROM I always flash back to after I am disappointed with the try the newest release.

[Q] ActiveSync Connection Problem (Omnia i900)

Hi everybody, i'll try to explain problem with my bad english and will be grateful for any help in advance. So, i have Omnia i900 Version PDA: i900XGI3/tom33 BHIC2 (in case, if its necessary to know), the original firmaware i did replaced very long time ago, because of programm memory capacity (as known ).Everything was ok utill now. Recently i have problem with ActiveSync. Most of the time, when i conect phone to computer, ActiveSync starts and than when synchronization should begin phone turns off, rather endless restars until PC says unknown hardware, but sometimes its conecting after many restartes. For a while ago, it could still conect somehow, but now never anymore and even more, now after when i conect, most of the time computer also restarts together with a phone.Must also to say, that i was not installing or changing nothing at all, its just suddenly happend.I cant find even one solution in internet regarding that sort of problem. Any ideas, suggestions? Thanks
