Hello,
I'm going to London for a few days next month and was wondering if you guys knew about some physical stores selling Desire accessories ?
I'm actually living in France and I'd like to avoid paying extra shipment.
Thank you
Nana at the moment. It's all Iphone crap everywhere.

On their website they state that they have Polaris in stock?
Anyone did business with them? How reliable are they? Does anyone belive that they really do have it?
Thanks
I did order one and I received it on time. Very reliable and responsive.
Regards,
Devicewire.co.uk currently have 86 units. Shipping expensive if outside UK. eg£50 to Ireland.

I've been on backorder with Clove since August last for the P3650. I've bought before from Clove (overseas) and they are honest, efficient and *not* rip-off merchants. They also use Royal Post for O/S delivery if you ask, and this is very much cheaper than, say, DHL or FedEx. Takes about 7-10 days.
Mine is now "in the post". Clove stuck to is initial price of GBP331 ex VAT, which is a lot more honest than some other retailers.
When the device finally fronts up, I will donate to the ROM project - I want a ROM *without* the GenZ TouchFlo.
Hi, planning on buying the juicy looking sensation xe from Negri electronics.
just wondering if anybody has had any experience from ordering from them.
positive and negative reviews would be good
thanks
http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Negri_Electronics
They've got a 9.3/10 rating
Brandon over on Pocketnow, at least i've heard him say it on many unboxing/reviews, gets stuff from Negri all the time so I think it should be cool.
They are legit. Quick free shipping

has anybody ordered from them to the uk? how much did it cost you?
also if i did order a sensation xe from them, how would it differ if i was to buy from uk shop?
thank you
It should be the same but you can try clove or handtech if you are in the UK.
well from negri it works out to be 470 gbp (including delivery)
from handtech it works out around 492 gbp (including delivery)
and clove is 500 gbp
so if the one from negri will deffo work in uk, i wud prob buy from them....
WOW!! That is kind of a large difference. Negri is usually more expensive then clove from my experience.

Hi, this is my experience with them, I bought a NAM Legend and 1 day after they wouldnt replace it the microphone quit working, I called them up and they said they would send it in for repair.. I sent it back to them, long story short, after calling them every couple of weeks for close to 6 months, they finally sent me a back a different unit, this one had scratches and other things wrong with it.. I decided it was in my best interests at that point to take what I got and be happy with it, and to never buy from them again. my 2 cents....
hmmm well taking that into consideration, imma jus buy from handtech.co.uk, at least i wont have to worry about the charger not working in uk and stuff with cell reception....
I want to know what would be the pros and cons of me buying between one within the UK or one from China if I were to buy an android TV stick. I compared amazon.com to another site (visopix.com) I don't know either also if the other site is reliable. Any thoughts about them? Because if I order from amazon, it is coming all the way from China while the other is within the UK and both offer free shipping. Is it worth paying a little extra to get the item from within the country already or what?
-Cheers

Agreed.
What's most important is that you're getting what you think you're getting - not where it's coming from.
I used to own a MacBook - it came direct from China when I got it. Even if I'm no longer a Mac fan, I know that Apple is a pretty trustworthy company in that they weren't going to be shipping me a pirated look-alike or a can of beans.
I buy things on eBay directly from China all the time. I make judgments depending on how much I think I trust the seller and from reviews. It coming from China or Hong Kong doesn't mean it's a bad product. If I need it fast, I can usually find a warehouse in my country that is stocking the same thing - which came to that warehouse from the exact same place in China - it usually costs a little more to get the exact same thing because the people operating the in-country warehouse need to recover their costs, too. They're just a middle-man.

Thank you for you input. A friend of mine just recommended the other site to me and he seemed pretty happy about his recent transaction with www.visopix.com I suppose I will think about whether to settle with the middle-man or not. It's just sometimes I do not like how they do the packaging from China and I end up with a damaged box or if I want to return it and the shipping internationally usually cost more.
Hello!
As Sammy accessories are very expensive in my country (80$ for battery) I am thinking to get an original battery from Washington DC as I stay there for a week.
What should be the price of the original battery 2600mah?
Where can I find it?

There are plenty of T-mobile, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint stores in the area - just use the locator on their Web sites. There are Best Buys and Radio Shack stores as well. As always, give them a call to ensure they have the battery in stock before heading out.
A convenient alternative is ordering from Amazon and have it shipped to wherever you stay. If you have a relative who is an Amazon Prime member, he/she can add you for free and you get free Prime shipping.

Any info on the price?
I am afraid to get a fake battery on Amazon
Hi! Welcome to DC! Actually, I've got my back-up Samsung (proprietary) battery from Amazon and even my ZeroLemon's. They're both authentic AFAIK though YMMV... But i guess you may just have to look around to check the seller's feedbacks/ review at amazon.
But like Lost said those are pretty much the stores you can snag one during your stay here! And second on that about giving 'em a call first before going to their store just to make sure they've got 'em in-store.
Ask the hotel front desk if they will accept packages for you. Then just find the best deal online and have it delivered to the hotel while you're staying there?

I'm in the DC area, and I actually have a spare battery from having my phone replaced last week. It's only about a month or so old, and was working perfectly for me (the exchange was the result of a defect with the phone itself). I have no need for it, and I'll send it wherever you want. Let me know!
Edit: Oh god, this is my first actual post. I've been lurking for years...

Is there a goto place to buy in the UK with a UK warranty?
Had a nightmare with oneplus and wont' buy chinese again until they have some local presence.
The Honor 8 in blue looks great, so hence the question of where to buy.
vmall.eu looks like its not UK based...
Thanks
There's cheaper but i picked mine up from Amazon just for the peace of mind of their returns.

Thanks.

Your best bet is to purchase the Honor 8 UK edition thru vmall.eu (https://www.vmall.eu/uk/honor-8-blue-292297/) which includes a warranty (see specifics here: https://www.vmall.eu/uk/warranty-policy/). If you have any other questions regarding the device and warranty policy, please let us know. (NS)
I got mine from a three store in the uk. No other stores stock these.
Can't go wrong mines blue looks gorgeous
vmall.eu's shipping seems from Expansys?
https://www.vmall.eu/uk/delivery/
Notes:
The estimated arrival times are taken directly from information provided by our couriers. These are estimates only, and EXPANSYS are not responsible for any variation.
If selecting a next working day service, goods will need to be signed for. To help, please give a delivery address where someone will be available to sign.
Please note: Next day delivery service is available only when orders are invoiced and/or shipped out.
Unfortunately, if goods are returned to EXPANSYS because of an incorrect or incomplete address, the carriage is not refundable so please double check before submission.

i phoned them and told them I don't need a sim card thanks.. already got one, so got just the phone for 339. If you get told they can't sell them on the phone and online only, then hand up and call back until you get someone who knows what they are doing. took me three attempts. must be why they are called three!
Buying them Honor devices from Three UK you get the same warranty as if bought online via Vmall.UK.So trust assured you good on all accounts and Vmall will deal with you directly once bought.
Got my partners from three today a d on the phone there is like a customer service portal, typed in the imei and she has a two year warranty

Thanks, I have read those and they don’t specify who the repairer is and what country they reside, so it isn’t clear if its shipped abroad to get cover or done in the UK and are subject to UK laws?

Likely just me, but won’t ever buy from these people again, so they are off the list. Poor excuse for a company.

Between 3 and Expansys, Amazon are by far the best option for me, but they only cover the device for one year and then you’d have to go to honour or others?
Just not clear and although it looks a lovely device, I will steer clear until it becomes clear who i deal with if anything should go wrong.
Thanks for all the input, much appreciated.

Its SIM only and unlocked. Use what ever carrier you want and get the phone with generic firmware for £339
The phone from three is unlocked so you can put what ever sim in you want.

I think 1 year is good enough already... usually after 1 year, manufacturer will stop/slow down upgrade, at that time, you have to rely on developers from XDA or places alike.

i have to agree here, most places will only offer a year anyway as after this they normally have slowed down production and are at that point concentrating on another product.
if its that much of a problem about aftercare i would personally find good insurance for your phone after the year is up @OP
i have insurance on all my electronics so i never pay a thing for breakdowns etc.
